  1. It’s like he was a mad scientist with his offense, but didn’t truly understand his own concepts.
  2. Found this interesting. https://x.com/danorlovsky7/status/1724393205796352195?s=46
  3. Dorsey installed his own offense the last two seasons. Last year may have been a more vanilla version to get the players used to it and learn his concepts. Started to add wrinkles this year to make it more complicated on the defense, but in reality it is more complicated on the offense. Makes sense there are maybe more multiple reads on a play as evidence of the increased number of plays Josh and his receiver are not “on the same page”. Davis and him have been off all year. That’s something a coordinator should see and adjust to. If not…well we know what happens.
  4. Orlovsky on WGR now.
  5. WGR stated McD will have a news conference today. Any time on that?
  6. Douglas seemed to have a good game last night. Benford had been good. Corner may not be the highest priority. Safety is a bigger problem. I’d like to see Rapp do more, but Poyer and Hyde are toast I hate to say. If Diggs is gone after this season, WR would be the highest priority.
  7. First round pick will be a corner.
  8. The best coaches are the ones who scheme to their players strengths. This wasn’t happening this year. Josh’s stats this year are top of the league. Shows he is very good despite coaching. Imagine what could be if we had competent coaching? Feel like we are wasting an amazing talent.
  9. Allen is a top tier QB in the league. Period.
  10. That is exactly right. No way to change the offense this late in the season. What needs to change is when to call certain plays. Run when you should run and the team is killing it like last night. Let Josh run. Involve Diggs. It was late in the game and they showed the huddle from behind. Diggs came in late and left early (not by much), but his demeanor and look in his face was he was disinterested. Sure enough, play was not to him. Oh, and. Let Josh run. Playbook is the playbook. Play caller builds the game plan and calls plays to his players strengths. Certainly not what Dorsey was doing.
  11. Maybe the OC on the sidelines talking with the QB and getting a feel for what is going on would work? Maybe mentor the QB a bit through tough times?
  12. I’m sure Pegula and Beane had an immediate meeting after the game. Was McD given a choice? The more I think about it, no. It was ultimately the owner. Which I am fine with that he isn’t just sitting on a bad situation. Canning McD would certainly kill whatever hope you have for the remainder of the season. Letting it play out now.
  13. I thought it was going to play out that way. To me, it was one of two things. Either there was a player revolt against Dorsey, or McD was given no choice from management. It is likely a combination of both.
  14. Needs to fill the new stadium. Once they sell the PSL’s, all bets are off. I hate to say that.
  15. This firing was not just McD’s doing. If he even had any choice in the matter. It was probably at the insistence of Beane. He has given McD a team that should be much better than their record, he ain’t going anywhere.
  16. Correct. They thought they could just move forward with little drop off. Hasn’t worked out. They won’t make the same mistake twice if he wants to keep his job.
  17. That one and the toe tap TD proves this is a game of inches.
  18. The firing of Dorsey would clearly be a last chance for McD. He will either figure it out, or be told to hire the best possible person.
  19. Dude has fallen off for sure. Wasn’t a train wreck early on, but last few games have not been great. whatever is wrong with this team, is now affecting all aspects. Even special teams. Araiza? Sign him to the PS. At the very least the pushes Martin.
  20. Very good point. They need to be good to keep the season tickets selling and maintain a waiting list. All that equates to PSL sales. That’s the name of the game. Revenue that is the Bills alone and not shared with the other teams.
  21. There is an issue of regression, but we are not winless. I honestly don’t see McD fired now, or anyone else. I’m not sure Pegula has the guts to fire McD now, or after the season. It will probably be Dorsey as the sacrificial lamb. If Dorsey goes, as well as he should, I’m quite positive McD will be able to hire an offensive coordinator no problem at all. Someone who will want to hitch themselves to Josh Allen. And that person may also feel that if McD is fired at any point, they may have the ability to step in. They need to fix this thing. And it can’t be pandering to their star quarterback and wanting “continuity” which led the Dorsey being hired in the first place.
  22. It is highly unusual for McD to throw anyone under the bus, coordinator or especially players. He did that a lot last night. Seems to me he is a coach that knows he is on thin ice. Either told so by ownership or Beane, or just knows. He needs to jettison Dorsey ASAP. His hiring him will be his downfall. Most people were on board with it based on his relationship with Josh. If Josh is so fragile, that’s an issue. Need to kick Dorsey to the curb and put someone in there that will call plays to our strengths. Need to do this ASAP before this team implodes further.
  23. If the Bills lined up with their FG defense, they’d be in Wilson’s ear immediately telling him to look over the D and take a shot. Throw it out of bounds if nothing there.
  24. Jets game ain’t in the bag. No way.
  25. 😂😂😂 Cause they will see that and just throw an easy TD?
