I played a bit this weekend.
The controls, inventory menus and controls, and interface are very overwhelming. The early 'tutorial' chapter wasnt well designed IMO and way too much slow slogging on horseback (or foot) from point A to point B. I fell asleep a bunch of times during that, and I think I missed a lot of control-tutorials because it tells you what to do quickly in small letters in the top right of the screen, as you are in a gunfight. It feels the controls are 'slow'.
I have graduated to the open world. It looks better. Glad to be out of the snow storm. Still a bit overwhelming.
I felt really overwhelmed too when I started with Witcher 3, and eventually I would call that the best console game ever made.
The weapons/inventory wheel is a PITA.
Gameplay is decent. Few things I really hate:
1. Too easy to draw your gun and fire it, especially when on a horse. Did this in a town a few times and got the cops after me for a public disturbance. Ended up with a large bounty!
2. Ran around a corner and accidentally slammed my horse into a citizen and killed him. Yup, ended up with another bounty.
3. Horse can’t go a long distance at a decent speed without losing all its energy. Ned to keep using the horse revive....if you have any.
4. Ran into the rival gang on a bridge. Was wasted quickly because the repeater takes too long to load. Understand it’s probably more realistic, but getting killed easily. Every time you die, lose between 9 and 10 bucks.
5. Cant hold up stage coaches without a witness showing up. If you kill him, another witness witnesses the killing of the witness... And yup, more bounty!
Playing the 2nd chapter now. Seems like a good game. Graphics are amazing at times.

Stunned he lasted this long.
Taking your team to the playoffs for the first time in many years, then having the wheels fall off the next season while in cap jail is nothing like what Hue has done. He won THREE games in three years! We’ve won one game less THIS season has he did in three years.
Always wondered what he had over the ownership...
-
We need to slow the game down as best as possible, hopefully can get some sort of run game going. If we have to rely on Anderson’s arm alone, it will get bad....fast. Our defense is good, but won’t be able to stop them if the offense commits three and outs.
Three and outs will put or defense in a horrible situation and the patsies will run the score up. I don’t think they will take their foot off the gas until the game ends, regardless of score.

not sure any of those four is coaching material, with all due respect to them as players
It was tongue in cheek. When things go bad, people look to the past.

Hindsight allows us to look at the trade and see it was probably a bad move when strictly looking at Mahomes and his current season. Yeah, looks bad. Doesn’t mean he’d be this good here. Much better offensive talent on the Chiefs, and a coaching staff getting their all from the team. Can’t compare Allen and Mahomes unless they havensimiliar offensive talent and coaching.
If Allen does become a good QB, and White and Edmunds continue to play like they are, then maybe the trade is even.
-
Yeah. Romo will give up a cushy announcer job to coach the Bills. If he did coach, most likely its the Cowboys.
I say we sign Kelly as HC, Thurman as OC, Bruce as DC and Tasker as ST. We’d be pretty awesome!

They are in cap jail. Can’t have the depth needed to win in this league if you don’t have the money to pay. We are projected to have the 3rd best cap space in 2019 behind the Colts and Jets.
Odds are we’ll end up overpaying for FA’s next year, but have the space to do it for a few. Couple that with another good draft, and maybe we have the talent to move forward. Now, if our coaching could step up....
-
If you can get a talented, proven guy at a high profile position, why not pay up? 2 first rounders for Mack was a steal for the Bears. I’d rather cough up a 2nd, but would be happy to give a 1st if that’s what gets Carr.
Thing is, we have Allen. Unless he is out for the year, no way these guys pull the trigger and essentially concede Allen isn’t ready.

Not this year at all, imo. But if this team looks like this in week 7 of next year he'll be on his way out.
We are getting killed by a 1-5 team.
We were not prepared for this game. Needed a solid defensive effort, although they are not to blame as the offense gave them no help. Daboll needed to have a run heavy game plan with a basic passing offense. Never should have relied on Anderson to win this one.

Trying to give the coaching staff a break. Starter out, given a crusty vet to replace him.
I don’t know how McD survives the season if this keeps up.

Just horrible.

You’re assuming they won’t try Peterman again.
Just threw up in my mouth a little....

It's unbelievable how badly the Bills mismanaged their QB position this season.
This is the most incompetent offense I've ever seen from this franchise.
The trade of McCarron was a waste. Wasn’t a stud, but not worth the pick and putting our QB depth on Peterman.
-
Gonna hate sitting n the stands next week.
I know DA hasn’t had a Lot of time to learn the offense. Still gonna get killed next week.

That's it for me for this game and this season. I just can't take it anymore....
Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out.

Time for Peterman.

Did we just beat the spread with that?

Have you seen how many teams will also have a lot of cap space to work with? It’s a lot.
I’ll take a look.
We can attract talent, as long as we pay for it. May get a decent guy or two based on our D talent.
Thing is we are strapped this year and couldn’t ven go for 2nd tier guys. Should change next year.
-
Gotta throw that away. What the heck.

Four down territory.

This team is really prepared for injuries. Our depth is amazing.
Will be buying depth next year when we actually ha e cap space. Won’t be top shelf talent, but gotta be better than what we have now.

I do like how Anderson throws people open, or to a spot.
Hate Te watching the QB waiting for the receiver to get open, then throw and miss the opportunity.

If Anderson is sidelined due to injury......

They had Landry Jones in right before they signed Anderson, smart money would be him.
Kap is still available, and will remain so.
Isn’t Pryor a QB?? Had him in yesterday! Can’t play both QB and WR...especially when Benjamin is sent packing.
If Anderson is out, Peterman starts and some schlep is signed to backup.
