  1. Brady demonstrated accuracy and ability to read the field in College.. I said young QB's struggle but those traits that EJ is lacking can not be taught they are either in your DNA and you can hone them or they are not. and no matter how hard you work they will not suddenly appear You'll see. It will play itself out
  2. If you can't see the forest between the trees then not much any of us can say. Name the last QB that was wildly inconsistent inaccurate and unable to do full progressions that all of sudden mastered them? Sure QB's struggle but they demonstrate those traits way more than EJ has to date I've pulled for the guy, but I am saying it again, he'll never be a consistent starting QB he will at best be a good backup in this league, his inaccruacy miss timing and inability to see the full field are not correctable. You can not teach those traits, you can hone those skills but you can't implant them all of sudden I suspect EJ will have a couple great practices but will have equally bad practices for the rest of camp. He may put together a decent preseason game or 2 but will also make us scream in agony
  3. trade ideas are nothing more than comedy on a forum Ej and Johhnny do not need a change of scenery, they're just never going to be that good no matter the scene
  4. I say no since we traded down and acquired extra picks to offset this possibility some but it will go down as an unfortunate choice in a year that there just wasn't many good choices
  5. Every single thing mentioned in this quote is exactly what we have seen from EJ. He had the most upside of any of the QB's drafted that year, but unfortunately the fact is you can not teach a chronically inaccurate unable to see the whole field, miss timing QB. You either are born with these skills and can hone them, or you are not born with these skills and will never acquire them no matter how hard you work. Hopefully our next drafted QB will have demonstrated some consistency before they pull the trigger. I've backed EJ but the my biggest fear when we drafted him has come to full fruition. He will never be consistent NEVER!. He may show flashes but I can guarantee it won't carry over through multiple games or a season, he just wasn't born with that ability
  6. Not even close you still Have Aaron Maybin Erik Flowers and Mike Wiliiams,
  7. Really? I've been watching like never before for about 10+ years
  8. On the Jets forum " Can we get Matt Simms back"
  9. dude never came up out of the can
  10. one report said it was a childish non football issue that could of been handled better by 2nd graders
  11. Is he available we should sign him...
  12. pretty obvious Cassel is getting more time with the ones recently to prepare him for Friday
  13. Come on now.. You've been watching this guy for as long as I have. It is pretty much fact and it is pretty much guaranteed. I have supported him but this is year 3 and he shows no signs of consistency There is a slim chance he fixes this, But I'm betting the entire farm and saying it never happens. He may be serviceable but he will always be maddening inconsistent and inaccurate.
  14. Oh well Whaley is still a damn good GM and I still want him as the BIlls GM. Not many can't miss QB's entering the league this generation. Way more misses then hits.
  15. I guess this issue with EJ is the fact you can guarantee he is going to return to inconsistency and inaccuracy. But i agree about Cassel. I want to see him produce with consistency and move the ball nicely friday before I'm jumping on that bandwagon I agree Tyrod probably the most consistent overall. But IMO hasn't been good enough either. So we are still in QB Limbo
  16. Yes I too would like to use this space to give a proper thanks to Astro for doing this year after year. I too look forward to your reports
  17. I love a good super hero movie.. But the problem most do jump the shark and many are just horrific story lines with little to no depth in story telling. I usually watch most of them once they come out on Netflix but never wanted to go see one in the theater
  18. ahh.. didn't catch it... but it was posted in here so I ass u me d
  19. Wow, how the hell does he know that. that has to be the most ridiculous opinion from him, and that says alot
  20. pretty simple.. when EJ does something well or has a good day some of them still post the negatives after awhile its easy to see the agenda over the facts..
  21. coaches came out and said WR ran wrong route, so the INT wasn't his fault, but he had a sub par day anyway it appears
  22. that would be the case if the WR zigged when EJ zagged
  23. he tall, got a big arm, and is charismatic in interviews. Accuracy has always been his biggest issue. You can not teach accuracy. You can improve accuracy some, but you have to have that natural ability to be accurate to start. IMO throwing motions and footwork tweaks will never make a chronically inaccurate QB accurate. Inaccuracy at EJ's level is not correctable, He'll have his moments but he'll always be very inconsistent... Apparently WR ran wrong route this morning on INT but he was still 2-8
  24. EJ's inconsistency is maddening At least Tyrod has kept his momentum going from the last few practices. Can Cassel keep this momentum going and carry it through Fridays game... but IMO EJ will never be consistent enough..
