So, I've been thinking about the sad emoji that you clicked on re: my earlier reply. Obviously, this is internet correspondence so 'sad' probably means different things to different people. Maybe you're sad I'm a dimwit for not being concerned about Trump, maybe you're sad that I don't see Trump and the danger he posed the way you do, or maybe you think it's crazy a fellow citizen wouldn't be hoppin' mad that a president would even think something like this. But, speaking hypothetically, let's assume President Trump could legally postpone the election for...say 2 years. I'm talking emergency powers, outrage from the left, outrage in the streets, whatever, but assuming it was legal.... Why should I oppose that, in fact, why would I not enthusiastically support it? The leaders of the opposition party ran a con on the people....and what makes me sad is a whole lot of people like you supported it. It didnt matter that it was preposterous, it didn't matter that there was never evidence, it didnt matter that thinking people knew it was BS about 3 months into his term. It still doesn't matter to you, in spite of the complete and total clusterfxxk that the Mueller trials were exposed to be. The way I see it, the rules of the game are established, and the rules as established by your people that there are no rules...and you and yours are at least hypothetically complicit in impacting my vote. My president's ability to lead was impacted on a massive scale. Why would I care about your vote when you don't give a $#!! about mine? Hypothetically speaking.

I'm not upset. I don't think it's a bad indicator. I think the election will move forward, a president chosen, raucous debate will follow, and half the country will hate the other half. And I think Joe Biden participating in destroying General Flynn, including unmasking his name as he was leaving office and lying about it later, is 200x more troubling than a president's musings. Then again, there's lots of folk taking a knee and cloaking themselves in the light of Joe Biden, who, incidentally, now thinks his name Kelly Leak.

I used to tell my daughter that most reasonable people were pro-life at some point along the way...certainly by the 3rd month people began to get squeamish about aborting a child. I was wrong there too, Turns out loads of people are happy with on demand, any time, up to and perhaps after birth.

"Shenanigans"? An ambassador is killed on an administration's watch, questions about security, vigilance, protection and lack of response that might have saved the ambassador are rightly asked. It is an undeniable fact that Obama officials concocted a cover-up story that exposed an innocent man to grave danger, the secretary of state emails her daughter under the code name Amanda Beaverhousen revealing the truth about the attack (because shouldn't every mom be able to discuss top secret intelligence with her daughter!), and that the story was made up to directly influence voters during an election season. Every administration in the history of the country would be scrutinized, dissected and rightly attacked for that type of bs.

I'm not sure who the COVID deniers are, and as far as anti-maskers, it's intellectually dishonest to suggest that everyone in the scientific/medical community agrees that they are effective. What are your thoughts on COVID and the mass protests across this great country? It seems there are more than a few COVID-Protest deniers in positions of leadership across the spectrum.

Well, even you would likely be fair enough to suggest that the Obama admins phony story about spontaneous demonstrations over a YouTube video was the first act in the political theater that ensued (it would be the second if you consider the stand-down orders given to potential rescuers). Putting aside the grave threat the situation created for the previously anonymous individual when Obama officials spun the web, it was clearly designed to influence voters during an election cycle. Whatever else happened thereafter, the story was not concocted to honor Stevens and the other brave Americans abandoned at the embassy.

The story makes no sense as usual. So the staffer and interns are there everyday, risking their lives for God’s sake, but never a leak to the press? It’s only when Gomert tests positive and tries to hide it from his staff? All the hallmarks of yet another bs story.

Sadly, this seems spot on. I had hopes for something different this time.

You were confused about the election process in 2016? Who is it that fooled you? Me? DR? Did @Buffalo_Gal use her feminine guile to convince you to stay home that November? By then, you surely knew about Trump's bombshell secret recording where he suggested that some women are attracted to men with wealth and power, you surely knew he was not releasing his tax returns, you surely knew how he felt about building a wall along the southern border and illegal immigration in general, how he felt about excessive taxation and repatriating billions by reducing the capital gains tax, and how he felt unemployment was far too high given the potential of the American economy. Heck, you even bought into the Trump is a Russian plant narrative by then, so you sat out the election because someone tricked you? This is gibberish, and you should stop blaming people for things that you do not go your way in life. The way I see it, it seems like you could not be bothered to muster the energy to cast a vote. It's interesting to me that after DJT kickstarted the economy, when unemployment for people of color and Americans in general had dropped to historic low rates, when the rising tide of a unleashed economy began to lift all boats....suddenly, you're interested in elections again. It's almost like...you prefer the old ways. Now...the arbiter of who is REALLY black is the heir apparent. Suddenly...the guy who has stolen second base more often than Mookie Williams is THE guy you want leading the country. Suddenly...the guy on tape bragging about intervening in the the affairs of Ukraine by threatening to withhold a $1b taxpayer dollars to protect his crack-headed son is just THE type of leader we need to guide us forward. Suddenly, the guy carrying water for China is what's best for America. I don't think everyone is a hypocrite simply because they vote for Biden. Some people are pragmatic, recognize his deficiencies and the character issues on display since he plagiarized his first speech back in the 70s. Some people are politically naive and since they follow news sources that don't report on Biden's issues, they have no idea of the true nature of his character. Some people recognize it's in their best interest to ignore the warts. What makes you politically hypocritical is your righteous indignation about all things Trump, while performing a clumsy pommel horse routine to defend your boy Joe. Whatever brings us to this point, today, here and now has nothing to do with me, Trump supporters, the RNC or anyone else*. Own that, and move on. Not to point out the obvious after you broke it down so well, but @ALF falls into the same category as every other voter who holds his nose and pulls the lever. I like his posts, generally, seems to be a decent guy and I can't recall him throwing hand grenades at anyone. At the same time, people wonder why establishment folks keep doing establishment things over and over. It's because they can. Rice can lie, cheat, steal, participate in an attempt to destroy a candidate in a presidential election and literally steal the vote from other Americans...but that's not enough to disqualify them to be VP. I think some people who describe themselves as centrists and think a Biden presidency will bring the country together are in for a rude awakening if Biden wins. If accusing people of treason, racism etc is a valid tactic in the playbook, and tossing around "gang rapist" for SC nominees is just another day at the office, it will get a whole lot uglier moving forward.

It's like I talk and you never listen. I am not brimming with confidence at all, I rarely think anything is in the bag---a lesson learned when Scott Norwood missed a certain kick and OJ Simpson was arrested. I calculate probabilities on just about everything, sometimes to my detriment. I can absolutely see people who got their b^lls in an uproar over a vote cast for Trump--an incorrigible heathen as it were---lining up to vote for Biden. That's the part that fascinates me, and that I appreciate the opportunity to point it out. You're a couple months out from riding out on that high horse to the ballot box at Kona Town Hall, pulling the lever with confidence and a certain smugness that others can't see what you do--you're voting for the best groping, lying, racist and sexual assaulter in America--Joe Biden. Because, as you say, what choice do you have other than to vote for your personal fave abuser? Worst case scenario, I think you think, he only really assaulted one throw away Bernie babe. If Biden wins, he wins. Lots of smarticus folks like you ferverently believe Joe only needed 50 years in office and the presidency so he could stop making absurd racial comments, or coppin' a feel off a 13 year old, so he could NOT target people of color with aggressive legislation, so he could finally tell all Americans how he really feels about the million or so law enforcement citizens and how they are the enemy of the average person on the street. I think most of you are convinced Dementia Joe is a better man than Fully-witted Joe, and again, that makes me laugh. All I'm stating is the obvious--the vote you cast for Biden simply means that you're a hypocrite.
