  1. My statement wasn't directed at just the left or just the right. HuffPo definitely fits the category. I'm not familiar enough with RealClearPolitics to comment, but the "he gets killed in the comments section" remark might be an indication that they allow liberal columnists in the "Alan Colmes", fun to ridicule sort of way. If that's an admission, color me disappointed.
  2. I refer to a specific type of person, not people from a certain area. You don't seem the type who would reject business based on prejudice.
  3. It's a serious problem. With the 24-hour news cycle and "news" media that is tailored to specific demographics, people can live their lives without ever having their worldviews challenged. It seems a very sheep-like way to live one's life.
  4. Those posters who admit to being regular listeners certainly seem to be in a class by themselves. I'm not suggesting that correlation = causation - we'd have to do an extensive study.
  5. Comprised of American citizens. It seems those who have a problem with this are those who have a problem with unions in general. Not exactly a shocking revelation... Well of course there's a difference. One is based on past or current actions and the other is based on future considerations. I thought we were talking about the legality of their boycott.
  6. The Japanese are an impressive people in a lot of ways.
  7. I can't believe I'm actually replying to this, but you're actually making some rambling sense here. Religion is one more tool in the toolbox, and an absolutely powerful, immutable, infallible tool at that.
  8. Oh look, a meeting of the minds.
  9. Castrate em all. There's just about nothing worse than this.
  10. Fixed it for ya - you betcha. Looks like Rush has been doctor shopping again.
  11. Yes, I get what you're saying. It guess it comes down to how comfortable one is with allowing unions to have power. But again, in the two letters I see referenced in this thread, I see nothing that indicates that they will do anything but boycott the businesses in question. Now human nature may say otherwise when it comes down to it, but I don't think it's reasonable to assume that they're threating anything other than the boycott.
  12. All this effort to make government employees more like private workers makes the "uneven playing field" argument ring a bit hollow. They may be government employees, but they're still Americans. That's interesting. Are you saying that it's illegal to organize a boycott based on past actions? I guess they could argue that they're targeting the next election, even if it is really about retribution.
  13. All I've seen so far is the presentation of the appearance of a unified group threatening to boycott goods and services, nothing else.
  14. His lobotomy came with a free tinfoil hat.
  15. What a great quote from an even better movie.
  16. It's stapled to his head.
  17. Hey, like it or not they're all pissed and have every right to react in any legal manner possible. Whether you agree or not, the perception of these government union employees is that they just got **** on and disrespected. It's all anti-union-this and slash-their-compensation-that and if they don't like it they can all go take a flying leap. Which is fine, I guess, until you realize that they people you just beat down and pissed off are the same people who are supposed to protect you and yours. Nobody's done anything wrong here.
  18. The Israeli Bible burners = Hitler? Hilarious! Burn baby burn!
  19. I seems to have some shady undertones, but it all seems perfectly legal at least.
  20. Are we not all free organize a boycott against whatever or whoever we like?
  21. I was flipping through channels last night and caught this video on Fox News. Totally aside, but does Greta VanSusteren now look like more of a dude than Rachel Maddow? Is she receiving testosterone therapy or something? Steroids?
