  1. Makes sense, they prolly teach it Pittsburgh. Watt did this to Allen last year pretty sure to and missed
  2. this rule drives me nuts. I think, and stress think, it was in the Giants game and a RB was being held up, and Titans player wound up and with a full right uppercut tried to jar the ball lose. He got all arm, no ball...and the ref even came in and you could see he was warning him. To me, a punch is a punch...it is either legal or its not. Like you say, getting to take a free swipe at a guys junk with the defense of "just trying to knock the ball lose" is BS. Watt misses a lot on his "Peanut Punches" btw
  3. is that cause i gunna be there to?
  4. @Heitzaint smart enough to be a Hokie, he a drunk from Vermont
  5. Absolutely...
  6. think they thought this "community involvement" piece was not gunna be a sticking point...but I guess any time politicians get involved always gunna be issues.Agree he prolly should not have said they were close..
  7. I have actually been listening to WEEI more than GR for this very reason. Man, most of those guys are really down on the Pats..great to listen to He is insufferable...i like almost all the other folks there....but he is just a tool.
  8. yep...Stadium beer at the Vikings game..you say week 5, i say Packer game! Free beer for me!!!!!
  9. you're guessing wrong😃
  10. Agree Jackson and White. But i don't see the Bills playing Tre till he gets at least 4 weeks practice in...so i think they will take him off PUP end of WK 4, activate him bye week, plays the Sunday nighter VS the Pack...
  11. you gunna wait till the deal is officially official..it aint yet
  12. Need 4 prime,
  13. Fanduel has a fantastic offer for existing customers' a risk free bet this weekend for all...up to $5 ...woo the frig hoo! Time for a 10 leg parley bet!
  14. that is the point i was making though..that type of complex in the burbs in Chicago will flourish year round. no need for game to be there...
  15. where are you staying? And I would avoid Dannys like the plague if the likes of @Just Jack and @mead107are there!😀
  16. depends on what is important to you. Loking for easy out ..where are you staying and where your tickets are is important if that is the case. Looking to tailgate before the lots open at 3:15? That matters too... Then the ever important what environment you looking for. Bringing kids? Little party but not to crazy? Drunks jumping on tables ?
  17. sending you a pm
  18. most would prolly go to place like that in the Suburbs vs the city..absolutely. If you have ever been to Staples Center( whatever it called now) envision that. Plenty of parking, huge area with like 10-15 restaurants, couple of clubs, prolly 30-70 retail stores, movie theatre, couple hotels...and then there is the stadium as an anchor. Not sure about the funding...
  19. Hell yea they will. Massive suburbs out there, the vast majority who want nothing to do with going into the city...for anything. Prolly 1/10th of the population in Chicagoland lives in the city, the vast majority live in the burbs. And yea, Soldier Field has downtown Chicago right there, but certainly the stadium does not draw people.
  20. Alan Pergamnet interviewed Chris Collinsworth for an article today, and it included this blurb. Did i miss something? I cant find anything on the interwebs as of yet..all i can find is this ..which are tweaks to the roughing call. Hmm any help anyone? https://nypost.com/2022/08/11/nfl-tweaks-roughing-the-passer-penalty-ahead-2022-season/
  21. they guuna turn Arlington Park (horse race track) into the destination..go to the game, stay right there for all the entertainment. Plenty of folks out there in suburbia be very happy to not have to go into the city of Chicago to see a game.
  22. dude, we take care of out of town tailgaters at the TBD Home Opener tailgate. (kinda funny i wrote that like i live in Buffalo, i live in Richmond VA LOL) If you decide to rent a car, there will be a sigup thread up prolly about Tuesday of next week. Bring your beverage of choice, there will be plenty of food. If you Uber, just have them get you to Hammers lot, and same as above bring your beverage and the food will all be taken care of. I can assure you that you and boys will not go hungry! PM with any questions
  23. well, seeing as how they thoughy the deal will be done August 31, i could see how they would say we are close to seeing renderings. But they have hit a snag, and out still in exclusive negotiation period, and after 45 days if no deal is signed the Bills have the right to start shoping for new stadiums elsewhere. They aint giving up that negotiating lever by releasing anything during the 45 day window...they would be idiots to to that...and they aint idiots. No signed deal, no renderings
  24. The thing is not 100% done deal correct? If I remember correctly, some deadline was pushed out 30 Days till like September 30. here it is. I would assume no renderings till officially official.
