Sooo the focus of this thread really shifted from the original dirt, concrete, and steel that’s in the thread title to PSLs and ticket prices.

Might it be best to create a separate thread for these and other Bills PSL & ticket & the stadium experience store concerns? Bc I keep clicking on this to see any construction updates only to find another page full of the rending of garments and gnashing of teeth about how it’s going to be too expensive for average Buffalo fans and everything is going to change.

I just wanna see life size Tonka-type and cement trucks, cranes, and steel here. Please.

    there is

Many of the Bills first round picks after the AFL/NFL merger in 1966, held out ... starting out with OJ Simpson, first pick in the 1969,  Cousineau, #1 pick in 1979, and Bruce Smith, the #1 pick in the 1985 draft.   Cousineau played in the CFL until the Bills' rights expired and allowed him to sign with the Browns.   Kelly chose to play in the USFL and finally signed after the USFL folded.   The primary reason for all of these hold-outs was money first and the Bills organization second since the Bills were largely uncompetive for most of the 1970s as well as in the 1980s after Chuck Knox departed and before Marv Levy was hired as HC.

Bruce was signed before the draft started. He didn't hold out

Or...move Johnson to Safety and draft a nickle corner.  God forbid common sense be used here.

This is what several of us hopped McDermott had fixed within himself this offseason.  Odds are We are going to spend money we don't have to for a veteran safety.  Move Johnson and or draft one between rounds 4-6.

don't move Johnson. Keep him where he plays well

tell that to my fantasy teams!

I think you guys are right that 2021 was the real injury plagued season. But even when he played the last few years, he always struck me as gimpy, battling through toe injuries and groin injuries and hamstring injuries.

maybe it is just more exaggerated in my mind because I had him in fantasy for a few years, and felt I could never rely on him.

Same with me and Tee Higgins

Don't forget to add Cook into the mix as well. Then there is Allen's threat of running. Although I hope he does less of it as he gets older.

The offense improved when Allen started to run again. Needs to continue. Only times he's been injured was hits when throwing, not running
