  1. What's the hurry? Wait until after the draft. You never know Peterson might fall into your lap. If Chris Brown signs before the draft with someone else - oh well.
  2. Exactly, didn't he lose his starting job to Rice. I only saw one game, but he didn't seem to touch the ball at all. I also hope people drop the Michael Bush talk as well.
  3. Perhaps he adds one positive thing to Buffalo.........is his pizza shop any good? Anyone ever been?
  4. I agree, they would have to be foolish not to take Peterson if he is still on the board. We know that running back and linebacker are a position of need, but running back is a much higher impact position than linebacker. Wouldn't you take the best running back in the draft over the best linebacker. He very well could be the next LT. Many would argue what Willis could be the next Urlacher. Considering that all draft picks are a gamble to a certain extent, don't you roll the dice with the running back.
  5. These two guys are certainly the "character" guys Marv is looking for.
  6. Anyone think we should have kept Martin Nance as a project. He seemed to fit the ideal #2 big tall wide-out that we all think we need. I was very disappointed when he was cut. I saw a tremendous amount of upside. Where is he?
  7. Marv asking him to restructure his contract was his polite way of saying we are going to in a different direction, knowing full well that Eric wasn't going to restructure. It was a good way to remove the akwardness of having to cut a 10 year vet that had done so much for the team. No way Marv ruins his own plan.

  9. I agree with you 100%. I will go as far as to say he wasn't worth the money he was making even before the injury. I have always thought he was very good player, but very overrated much like a Junior Seau. He is very animated on the field and when he jumps on the pile after the play, he is the first one pumping his fists to make sure he gets the recognition. Other than the opening day win against New England where he looked like the best linebacker I have ever seen, his play has been very forgettable here in Buffalo.
  10. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to handle the frustration of watching his 8 yard hitch route where he gets tripped up by the corner back every time or if he doesn't catch the pass waving to the officials to throw the flag. I am a big Moulds fan but his last year was a struggle to watch his one dimensional game.
  11. Like I said in a previous post on the subject of McGahee that Marv realizes that you can't "polish a turd".
  12. Good ones Dr., totally forgot about Robinson and Hobert.
  13. While we are on the subject of Top 10 lists, lets do the all-time biggest draft or free-agent busts in Bills history 1. Erik Flowers 2. Mike Williams 3. JD Williams 4. Drew Bledsoe 5. Lawyer Milloy 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Help me out........
  14. Top 10 (In Order) 1. Eric Moulds 2. OJ Simpson 3. Thurman Thomas 4. Bruce Smith 5. Lee Evans (will be #1 before he is done) 6. Andre Reed 7. Nate Clements 8. Henry Jones 9. JP Losman 10. Cornelius Bennett
  15. McMichael sounds very intriguing to me. He used to be good, but has slipped this past year. Anyone else think he would be a possibility
  16. I hope it isn't the same offseason program they had McGee on. Talk about a player that bulked up and it compromised his speed!!!!!
  17. Boy did you nail this one on the head. There is no bigger jerk than Takeo. I have stayed at the Bills hotel on the road in Tennessee and at the Jets and he would not sign autographs for kids who were wearing his jersey. I can see turning down the adult autograph hounds that are going to try to sell the autograph on e-bay, but to turn away a kid wearing your jersey is appalling. I have witnessed this twice, so it wasn't just a bad night. I don't feel the least bit sorry for him and his situation. He isn't a character guy.
  18. I am glad you made this point. People failed to mention that he was a converted TE.
  19. Do you suppose he is McGahee's replacement????
  20. And Shaud Williams resigned for two years - did I hear this correctly.
  21. Tater that was a hilarious post. These people actually think other people care why they decided not to renew their seats.
  22. Are you sure that you are not just angry that you are stuck in the upper deck, because I can't imagine anyone in their right mind not renewing after this year, when you have suffered through previous years.
  23. Wanting to put up numbers and having the talent and skill set to do so are two entirely different things. People are still in denial that he isn't the same back as he was at Miami, people need to come to grips that we are never going to see that player. He is just mediocre
  24. Marv is a smart man and realizes that you can't "polish a turd", and should be commended for trying to get something for this buffoon. What direction would you take in the draft to find his replace. Assuming Peterson is off the board would you take Lynch at 12 OR would you rather wait until the second round and pick-up Irons, Pittman, or Walker OR wait until the 3rd and pick-up either Hunt or Bush? I don't follow the college game closely enough to really know, but I think the most appealing would be to take Okoye in 1st and Kenny Irons in the 2nd. What would you prefer. The other option would be Dominic "DWI" Rhodes in free agency, which I wouldn't be entirely opposed to either.
