    For me anyway, it was always about the exchange of energy that happens at places like a Dead or Phish show. Anyone who has been to one knows what I'm talking about. It is something you either get or you don't. I feel for those who can't grab it, it truly is something special.

    I'm not sure if it is quicker to go thru Atlanta....can't imagine that it is. Do yourself a favor and make a couple stops on the Blue Ridge Parkway, well worth the detour.

    Visit NC This should help direct you to what NC really has to offer. I have lived here for 27 years, and you won't find a better place to live IMHO. Living in either Raleigh or Charlotte will allow you short trips to the beach or mountains. People will welcome you no matter where you are from...don't believe some of the other post you have seen above.
