Raiders finally getting crappy drivestarts
-
just me, or does o-line look pretty decent?
-
Irvin and Faulk are a magical combination....if we could just get Emmitt Smith involved we would have the IQ equivalent of anti-matter.
Now THAT'S funny!!!
-
The bills offensive line is so bad, that I think the raiders have an ex-quarterback in prison that could start for you.
Yo momma so fat it takes her an hour to take a dump - 45 minutes to line up the holes!

His son plays little league football in the same league as mine does. I was working the chains at the game last week, and shooting the breeze with a ref during timeout. I joked about us learning as we go on doing the chains, and he told me the worst parent he'd ever had doing chains was Thurman. He kept chatting with people and the ref had to constantly get on him to move the stick. I thought it was kinda funny!

"Vermin is going to kill Johnny's brother at the Savoy theater tonight, pass it on."
Sorry, done for my own benefit. LOL
Johnny and the Mothers are playing "Stompin at the Savoy" in Vermont tonight...pass it on....
(couldn't let it go...)

2011 - How lockout replacement games might have looked....

Dickerson was actually pretty good at first, then he started to like himself a bit too much. From then on, he was on a mission to pick a player and trash him up and down, as well as continually hate on management. Doing this caused his ratings to soar, so he kept it up.
Bulldog was pretty good waaaay back when he was on WBEN. He's also pretty good when Schopp isn't on. Schopp drags him down, no doubt about it. I personally don't mind if they go off on occasional tangents, but they do so far too often.
As far as the general hating on the Bills, all I can say is that there hasn't been much positive to talk about over the last DECADE or so, so I can cut a little slack on that. After all, they have to talk about a generally crappy team daily from training camp until the season ends, and then around draft time. Until this year, they've also had to watch guys like Maybin, Whitner, and McCargo make up your first round picks. How positive can you be under those circumstances?

No lighter colors are less intimidating, we should have done what the Sabres did when they went Black and Red which represents death and blood.
Pink would be intimidating if the guys wearing it were kicking your butt up one side of the field and down the other!

Right. A guy with potential for a potential bust. Not likely.
LOL!! Wait..which one is which??

The Bills and Mr. Ralph should take from this that the more Mr. Ralph hires actual football professionals and shuts up and gets out of the way the better.
Unfortunately, that is the formula he tried when he hired Donahoe. I think he has been overcompensating ever since.

I doan think so Ceesco.
Titans maybe?
Nah..he's got "Dallas Cowboys" written all over him.
-
If we had taken Brees in 2001, do you think he'd still be here with his horrendous start?
Do you think he would have developed at all given the revolving door coaching/coordinator situation we've had since thne?

If you don't understand the basic math it is one thing, but starting in with the vulgarity is not useful to the conversation.
fallacy -
–noun, plural -cies.
1.a deceptive, misleading, or false notion, belief, etc.: That the world is flat was at one time a popular fallacy.
2.a misleading or unsound argument.
3.deceptive, misleading, or false nature; erroneousness.
4.Logic . any of various types of erroneous reasoning that render arguments logically unsound.
5.Obsolete . deception.
What is vulgar about the term?
I mentioned in an earlier post that you might have a point in that the strength of schedule tiebreaker might be favorably impacted, however turning a loss into a win, (and this is the important part) while leaving the record alone otherwise (ie going from 9-7 to 10-6) is going to negate the need for a tiebreaker in the first place.
Now, if I haven't hit the essence of your argument, please do enlighten me.
Oh, and please refrain from generic crayons. Stick with a name brand.
-
You're telling me that if the Chargers end up in a tie breaker with the Chiefs, they won't be thanking their lucky stars that they lost those games against the NFC teams?
Your assumption is that they win those games at the cost of losing others, which is a huge fallacy. If they had won those NFC games instead of losing them, they wouldn't have to worry about a tie-breaker with the Chiefs because they'd have a better record in the first place.
But of course, you may still have to contend with the plane crash....
-
The only way I can see a loss helping your cause is that it may slightly increase your strength of schedule, but that is the 6th (out of 12) tiebreaker, so getting there is a long shot.

good thing the game's not decided on stats alone then...

"As of today..." and like others said, even if we do draft Luck or Mallet or someone else, Fitz would very likely start the season at QB. It's hard to imagine him not starting. Besides, it was an answer to a question posed by reporters, what else could you possible want him to say? "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it?" "Most likely any rookie we draft?" "What has Fitz shown to think he deserves to start next year?" Even if Gailey said something along the lines of "The best player will start next season" reporters and probably you would read something into it and post that Gailey has no confidence in Fitz being a starter when that is clearly not true.
Gailey loves Fitz, and says it all the time. In different ways. In ways that don't show up on the stat sheet. Like completely changing blocking assignments at the LOS on running plays (which he did against Detroit which resulted in one of Freddie Jackson's long runs).

for those who might not understand the business, a fuller version with direct quotes has been filed and will be moving shortly.
and for those who like to make cracks, i think you'll find it interesting of what Mr. Wilson had to say in regards to why he takes the full blame and also making comments about his age.

Thanks, John. I was going to ask if there was anything edited out worth mentioning.
