  1. Does anone have a rivals subscription? http://collegefootball.rivals.com/viewpros...832&Sport=1 This is is high school rivals report. 17th best DT and looks big. http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.a...293&Sport=1 This is is CC rivals report. Still looks huge and is the #22 CC player
  2. From Yahoo Sports: Several junior college prospects were added last minute to the list of underclassmen. They included Northwest Mississippi Community College defensive tackle Walter Thomas, a one-time highly recruited interior defender from Galveston-Ball High School in Texas. He spent one year at Oklahoma State before heading to the J.C. ranks, but measuring at roughly 6-foot-3 and 335 pounds and having been timed in the 4.9-second range in his prep days, he may raise some eyebrows The guy is huge and quick but probably not quite a genius having to drop out of Oklahoma State and go to community college then declare for the NFL after one year at CC (i don't know the story but I'l look for it). However, Jason Peters is not a rocket scientist. I wouldl ove this guy with our 6th or 7th round pick.
  3. I agree. Okoye is my pick as of right now and not just because I loved Christian Okoye in Techmo Bowl
  4. Levi Brown is a top rated tackle but probably could/will slip to us at #12. He has potetnial but I feel he is better suited to play guard. If we stay at 12, what do you think about taking Levi and moving him to guard? I am not sold on this, just a suggestion as I feel his talents would be better used at guard.
  5. Looking at a few profiles out there, I am liking Ben Grubbs from Auburn more and more for the OG position. Former DE and TE who is athletic but big and nasty. They say he could slide into the first round. Maybe trade back to the end of the first to draft Grubbs and pick up another second round pick as well? 1st- Grubbs 2nd- DT 2nd- RB/WR/OL/CB
  6. I'm sitting at 4-1 and second in my league. I have a formidable game this week. QB has been my weak link as I started with Warner which was great week 1 but blew up in my face and picked up Delhomme who has been starting since. I had not backup QB but just picked up our own JP off the free agent market. Who do you start? Delhomme against a tough Baltimore defense in a game that might be 10-6 or JP with a chip on his shoulder from Chicago against a mediocre Lions defense.
  7. I'd be in but I work Mondays till midnight so I wouldn't be able to make the draft, which is my favorite part of a fantasy league. Make it Friday evening and I'm in haha. While work allows me to access twobillsdrive, I cannot draft on Yahoo...and yes I have tried
  8. Even odder....he was an USFA of Minnesota and TRADED to the Eagles before even attending a practice....Philly must have run out of picks......
  9. I have gone to one game a year for most of my life (I am 25) and have not been in the past two years. I cannot wait to get out to the Ralph for a December game!
  10. I bought my tickets from stubhub last week. $20 for Chargers tickets. Not the greatest section but its still a Bills game, right? I look forward to seeing Rivers picked off at least twice. I wanted to get the Titans tickets too as they have upper seats for $15, but my wife won't let me go to a Bills game on Christmas Eve. She doesn't have her priorities in line yet.
  11. I saw an article where Santonio Holmes could not attend the Pittsburgh minicamp as he had not graduated yet and some asked if this applies to us as well. The Jason Hall blog on the front of TBD says he went to minicamp then want back to Tennessee to graduate. He was a senior and the rule might have only applied to underclassmen. I am sorry if I missed it, but did anyone ever get clarification on this? Thanks!
  12. Sorry for sounding drunk in the post, I really need to proof read
  13. Not to add fuel to the fire but I would like your honest opinion on this. Do not get me wrong. I am in no way promoting drunk driving. I was a huge partier in college, often doing the 30 pack challenge to see how quickly we could drink a 30 pack. If I go out to a bar now and have 3 drinks, I won't even be feeling a buzz, yet i am presumed impaired just because I am legally over the limit. If a person without a tolerance was at the same level, they may be slurring speach or wobbling around. I talk fine, walk fine, drive fine and have very little effect on reaction time with 3 drinks in me. What are your thoughts on applying the same legal imits to all people regardless of how they actually handle themselves. Maybe this comes back to your point on better judgement as I might blow the .08 but pass every field sobriety test with flying colors. Unfortunately (in my case, no overall), in this state if you blow the .08 you are going to jail for the night. I in no way condone DUI and do not drive if I am too impaired to do so, but being a big drinker, meeting friends out at the bar and having 3 drinks is not out of the question and definately not going to "get me drunk". Thoughts?
  14. ok havner is out there but edwards went in round 4 to the vikes and colston round 7 to the saints
  15. edwards, and colston were drafted and i am pretty sure havner too.....
  16. Here's a question.....can Chicago rescind their offer? In legal terms they have every right to do so, but the NFL operates under a CBA and I have no clue on the rules regarding this.
  17. Omar Jacobs from BGSU has first round talent. I would consider him if he fell to the fifth round, but it is definately not a need position and a 5th could be better spent elsewhere. I have been a Bowling Green fan since I was about 12. He has better tools than Harris who many touted a few years back (and has done nothing since coming out).
  18. I think Vernon Davis is a freak athletically right up there with Antonio Gates. I do not feel his hands are anything amazing and his blocking leaves a lot to be desired as mentioned numerous times on here. My question is.....do you remember where Antonio Gates came from? The basketball court! There are two college basketball players so far (Ed Nelson from UCONN and Jai Lewis from George Mason) that would have the same freak athletic ability and size. They may not be as quick in the 40, but they are fast, athletic, long, and in Jai's case HUGE players that you would expect to have at least decent hands from their basketball games. I would much rather address the lines early and take a flier on Jai Lewis in the 7th round. Thoughts?
  19. no way is elvis there in the 7th round and njo way we draft two QB's even if one is a "slash" type
  20. mexicanbills.....I like that draft a lot.....Sims will be a good mid round pick
  21. Not a bad draft. I don't think taking Justice at 38 is the smartest pick as I think there will be better talent available, but it definately fills a need. Jason Allen has moved into the mid first round and have seen him going as high as the early teens, so I doubt he will be there, but if so, it'd be a great pick. I like the USC left side of the offensive line idea and overall not a bad draft. May be a reach at 8 and a pipe dream at #42 though
  22. the picks on the front page are still wrong, we need to crrect that before going further, i drafted Chad Jackson for Indy and he is not even showing as being picked yet....2003????????
  23. Rally just mad cuz I wanted him...haha and 2003, you have our picks wrong on the main page....Indy picked Chad Jackson and you have us with Maroney
