  1. That probably won't happen for a long while. If they aren't in Iraq proper, they'll be close by. Otherwise the whole thing goes for naught.
  2. Yeah. Same thought, only our guys would find a way to blow it.
  3. The US isn't going anywhere.
  4. Yep, too bad. If you don't see the difference between the US and Great Britain having weapons, and Iran and North Korea having them, I don't know what to tell you.
  5. You have a dog? Well then I take back lack of the friend part. Oh, that and the TIVO. I've cracked at you maybe 10 times in a year, I've also agreed with you about the same number of times. Maybe 20 posts pro and con vs your 7,000. Far cry from commenting on every one of your 200 a day look at me posts. I've even complimented you a couple times, even as of the last storm. Well, early day to work. Should go there to have something to do. Wouldn't want to work on my house, after all, I rent. Why don't you, T-Bone and Ice get together and petition to get me banned? Punk. After all, you three are what the place is all about.
  6. Three. trust me. Chem was never the issue. I'll shut up now.
  7. I forgot to say fugg you in terms the filters would understand.. as$hole. Not a barn burner with Skins-Cowboys, eh?
  8. Old News. Not just the WMD's, but some key "figures" as well. And also a couple billion in US currency. The board members don't get that the key biological stuff from the entire program, what was important, made it out in three small suitcases. Sorry, don't have a CBS link. Tom, shouldn't you be a Newly Wed? (Sorry, I just feel a need to bust on you. )
  9. !@#$.
  10. LOL. You lived a little away from the mainstream, eh? 'Course I've seen the phenom in Charlotte as well. Gotta think about it after a few. Green light might be a trick...
  11. Oh, don't get me started... That makes you a "NeoCon", didn't you know?
  12. Haven't we been here before? Who, besides me (and I know there are several) remembers handoff to OJ, handoff to OJ, handoff to OJ...punt? Don't lie.
  13. Pat Paulsen, but he's dead. Wait...didn't that work in Missouri? Out of loyalty to my friends, I'd say KRC. Since I have no loyalty, make me a benevolent dictator. I'll fix this stevestojan. Trust me.
  14. Damn, Ed...you burnin' some bridges, boy...
  15. Why don't the Bills bring in a big ellible fat guy and forget the tight end? Like after last year they are going to throw on a 1 and goal? Yes, do it-but only when you have established that you aren't.
  16. Footbal=Politics? Maybe? Give the masses a soundbite.
  17. Well, out of 63 posts (at this writing) Ice has 23 of them. After completely reversing direction from the last time I looked at an Ice post. Sort of like a soap opera. You can quit watching in November of 2002 and turn it on October of 2004 and know exactly what's going on. I'm pretty sure though, that TD will not publicize the protection order specifications. Someone has to have some class.
  18. The fourth layer of cynacism.
  19. We'll legislate against the right to protect ourselves, in the most crime ridden areas of the country...We'll legislate against a child saying a prayer before he starts school that day, but you can't legislate against attention seeking have no life baby seals who don't understand the back of the cereal box. No wonders folks think they can blow us up.
  20. stevestojan. You go through another hurricane and come up with this? Why would anyone watch a made for ESPN movie? Are you really that lonely?
  21. Y'all bought that, right?
  22. Well, yeah...I was thinking this was a trick question out of a PPP board !@#$. Then I realized both of these have actually been intelligently debated over the last few years here...then I realized there hasn't been any intelligent debate about anything since Kerry got nominated (with the exception of Mickey, but he's slid too...) My cat's breath smells like catfood....
  23. It's a different time. Things will never be that simple again. Through the 30's, many an American businessman made many a buck helping to build the Japanese war machine. Everyone's hero FDR was well aware, but since we didn't have 200,000 cable news shows in real time-it kind of slid by the mainstream since he was busy pulling us out of the depression. Any chance the two are related? stevestojan, unfortuntely, came to a head. It's way more complicated than that. Remember Hitler? I've heard the name mentioned here. My personal opinion is that they miscalculated the breaking points. A relatively small group of folks made a lot of money in the six years leading up to Pearl Harbor. Why do you think we got so snookered? Isoruko Yamamoto, the architect of the Pearl Harbor attack understood. The Japanese militarists, many of who had extensive business interests figured out there play, which was bold-dangerous-but could have resulted in great dividends. They did not take the lesson of Neville Chamberlain the correct way, nor did they account for a lot of water between us and them. Yamamoto said he would run wild for two years, and the sleeping giant would spank them. He understood our will at the time, we don't understand our own, now.
  24. Thanks for the hint. I was slow on the uptake. OK, I vote no.
  25. I voted yes. Reason being the 6,000 other conversations we've had over the years. Removing religion from government was never the intent of the Constitution. Allowances are made for Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. everyday in order not to offend. I agree with maybe a five minute period where anyone who wants to can do as they please, in relation to this. Organized prayer in our present mixed society isn't going to wash. Placing the value of belief in a higher power into the system could never hurt, whether that higher power be called God, Jehovah or Allah. We have begun to believe that we are the most dominant force in the universe-and that's a dangerous and worthless concept.
