  1. My sympthies are with you on that one. I walked into the stadium and by one of the bathrooms - that's when I knew something was wrong, very wrong. Otherwise, it was a heck of a game. Probably the last good (great?) Bills game. The place was rockin'.
  2. In addition to Rich/Ralph, I've been to Giants, Lincoln Financial, and M&T Bank/PSI. They all good and serve their purpose. I love Rich because: 1. Its the home team. 2. Nobody, nobody else has troughs in the bathroom. Enough said.
  3. Yes they definitely need a song after a TD. That area is sorely lacking. No other issues for me. The folks in my section were loud and stood for every (every!) 3rd down. Can't agree with you on the atmosphere either. Great place to watch a game. Plus I didn't get hassled for wearing a Bills jersey. Not a peep! Kudos to the B-more fans! Opposing fans at the Ralph/Rich get physically abused and verbally asaulted by drunk idiots. Kudos again to the B-more fans!
  4. I still have a little Bills stuff here and there. When asked if I'm a Bills fan my standard reply is "Less and less every year". What have they done for you? What have they done for you?
  5. It can't be that bad. The Vikings have Brett Favre and they're 0-2 too.
  6. The team has let me down. I'll wear a Raven jersey, maybe Ray Lewis. My other $.02 on this topic - if you're a big guy, wear the jersey of a big guy. I can'ttell you how silly ti looks to see some 400+ pund dude rocking the jersey of some 150 pound receiver or defensive back - they really shouldn't even make Roscoe Parrish jerseys in size 58...... Amen to that Brother! Great point.
  7. Yes, I am all doom and gloom but I did chuckle as I read your post. The Bills let me down year in and year out. No end in sight. No end in sight. How come the Bills can't be like the Jets and other teams and seemingly turn it around over night? I'm afraid it takes much more than 3 wins to be the Jets. Its good to hear there are still a few believers out there.
  8. There's a story posted on NFL.com. Forgot to link it.
  9. Just a thought... Maybe Stealers heard from several guys (coaches, front office, etc.) around the league that this Tomlin guy is awesome. He deserves an intreview. The coaching cirlce is tight. Everybody knows everybody. If Tomlin wasn't qualified he wouldn't have gotten the call. Teams don't waste their time and money with even an interview if they don't think a guy is worthy of it. Well... except for Frazier. I'm pretty sure they don't pick the minority guys to interview from the "Black Coaches" catalog. Just a theory. I could be wrong.
  10. Some teams are circumventing the Rooney Rule. Nothing worse then interviewing for a job later to learn they had their sights set on another person. I've even declined putting in applications in my orgainization when I find out the bosses want to hire one particular person. All the reports said it was Pete Carroll. I don't know anything about Frazier but did he want to go for the interview? Did he feel pressured to do it? (maybe? probably?) The Seahawks never wanted an open coaching search. They didn't want other whites or minorities, they wanted Pete Carroll. But before they could hire him they had (HAD!) to interview somebody they didn't want and no intention to hire. Gee... great system.
  11. After such a terrible 2008 I was very excited about 2009 and T.O. What a dud of a year. I really feel bad for Owens... such a great player playing for such a rotten team. I can't wait to read whatever book he eventually writes and see how he describes this year. Guys, don't get all excited about what ever coach they sign or what their first round draft choice may be... IT JUST DOESN"T MATTER!!! I'm going to buy one of those Decade of Failure t-shirts.
  12. The Bills played today??? YAWN! The only shocking thing to happen in the last few years was signing T.O. I think the only thing left would be to change the ownership or just move the team. Seriously, what is left?
  13. Wow! Now we and the Bills shouldn't feel so bad about being the only team to lose to the lowely Browns!! Just trying to find the silver lining in all this 10 year gloom...
  14. Who cares about using the sinks in Rich Stadium (er, Ralph)?? I get in and get out. I've never stood in line so long as I do in Baltimore. Expect a 15 minute line. They looked at me funny when I started going in the sink. Old habit I guess! On the other hand, M&T Stadium is completely wired for sound. How many speakers do they have? 50 or 60? The whole place just rocks. Besides Baltimore, I've been to Philly (wierd design that I just don't get) and Meadowlands (seems OK). Absolutely nothing wrong with the Ralph. It certainly feels older than the others (because it its) but there is nothing wrong with the Ralph.
  15. On the opposite side of all the TV graphics... Anybody go to the SD game last year when there wasn't power for half the game? It was great in a way because it wasn't being broadcast and therefore no TV timeouts (ZZZZZZZ...). They just kept playing. The drawback was they couldn't post the down and yards to go on the scoreboard. We were always wondering how many yards they had to go. If they kept playing they obviously made the first down. Anyways, it was definetly a plus not having the TV timeouts. Consessions probably hated it because there was less time to sell beer.
  16. They laid some great hits on the Chargers that day. Just a really great game.
  17. Anybody else hate that stupid thing? At every stinkin commercial break! Some dumb robot in some pre-game warm up! Its been going on for years. I guess its the little things that get me.
  18. Great game, one of the best I've been to in many years. (unfortunately that's not saying much). It was like a rock concert; I've never been to a louder game, my ears were ringing and throat was sore. And we stood for the entire game- that's never happended before. I loved the power outage because there were not TV timeouts. They just kept playing. I hate going to a game and waiting waiting waiting for 2 or 3 minutes after a change of possession knowing they are showing some dumb car commercials. Then they went 2 for 10 the rest of the way
  19. Not voting in Thurman is a true crime. Those lousy good for nothing writers. Losers, the whole lot of them. Gotta agree with Nick Bakay.
  20. How did the old guy do? Was it a full concert or just a few songs? I think I must be the only guy in Maryland who ever heard of him. Anybody have extra tickets to the Bills/Jets on New Years Day?? Bruce
  21. Was he traded from Atlanta or released? If I were in Atlanta I'd still be cursing out management for letting him get away!
  22. I went, I saw, and I cried. What a sad state of affairs. Can the Bills really hang "toe-to-toe" with anybody? Overall, its a big NO. If an offense can't score more than 14 points its got to be NO. Balls were dropped. Some were tipped because they were thrown too high. The Ravens fans were just begging the Bills to get the ball. They laughed Drew Bledsoe off the field.
