No one is going to give up a 2nd or a 3rd and next years 1st for number 30.
-
The Bills do not have the cap space to sign him now! They say he will get around 40 million a year!
-
Do you think that the NE was going to give up 2 first round picks and a 3 rd for 33 year old QB with a large salary! Plus only the media said that NE was interested
They are not that dumb. Also the RAMs better make sure Stafford does not gets hurt. Plus now the RAMs are only 34 million over the cap. To me it is good trade for both teams, if the RAMs get to a couple of SB, if not the Lions won big!

People have to be a little cautious, each year it different. The are retirements, injuries and some players not having good season plays. If you remember the St Louis Rams, greatest team on turf. They won a Super Bowl , went to another and got upset. They had their super QB and signed all their core players to good contracts. They were predicting they would win the next 3 to 4 SBs and had no competition. What happened, their super QB gets hurt, the players do not play up to their contracts and they never get back.

Sanu had a great first game and looked like a good trade. Then he got injured in the second and was not the same the rest of the year.
He has not been that healthy this year and so he is not worth keeping at 6.5 million.
-
BB went to the players and asked them to opt if they wanted to early. Since the cab is not signed there is not opt out date yet.
Many players are just waiting to see what is going to happen. I think BB made a good decision to get the players that wanted to opt out to announce early so no time was wasted in the so called training period.

Pats seem like one of the more racist organizations in the league, for as much as Belichick gushes over players like LT, he still seems to prefer his QBs to be Whiter if not in skin tone then in mindset. I'd be shocked to see Kaep go to the Pats.
I don't know where he would go but maybe the LA Chargers could make sense. They desperately need a reason for people to pay attention. Kaep would sell tickets. For a stadium in Inglewood? You kidding me? Kaep could be terrible but still sell it out for at least a year.
Then the Bills must really racist since their 4 qbs on the team are white BB has drafted a few black qbs over the last few years

Look at the Flacco contract, he got a huge deal which destroyed the Ravens team. They had to let a lot of players walk, the team was never the same. Football is a team sport, a great qb with no team around him does not work in the NFL. Teams have to get a balanced result. Teams can not have a few players taking up 50% of the cap and winning constantly. Also the cap will not go up all the time.
-
The problem with winning teams, will be the cost of players. When teams become good, other teams start poaching your players with paying them way too much money. Also you can not pay everyone what they want. Examples paying Solder, Flowers, Brown and others
the highest contracts for their positions. This is where the Chiefs, Bills, Cowboys and others will have to figure things out. Who to keep and who to let walk. You can not have 2 or 3 players eating up 40 % of your cap.

Why do we go back 25 years? Don’t you think coaches learn from what they did wrong? When BB took over the Pats he inherited a bloated underachieving team with the highest paid QB. Who could not stop making dumb mistakes and constantly changing the plays sent in. He had to rebuild the roster and when Bledsoe went down he slipped Brady in. When Bledsoe came back, he did not get the job back. The next year Bledsoe was traded to the Bills, who experienced the same problems. So what happen, in the previous years, is not relevant today. Each year it starts over, nobody knows what will happens until the games are played. Injuries can really wreck a team’s season.

The Dolphins are on the road at NE not at home.
-
He went to a team willing to pay a 43 year old QB 30 million plus a year for the next 2 years. All of it guaranteed. Plus a team with more talent and an easy going coach.
-
BB was not going to give a 43 year old QB a 2 year 60 million plus contract. TB was going for the money, sunshine and a team with better talent. He now gets to play for an easy going coach and a say in everything the team does.

The problem is the players playing for the London team would be paying 54% tax rate!

There is a difference in how the NE approach the fans in the stadium experience. Unlike New era , the Pats front office does not want heavy drinking, drunk fans and people passing out or fighting in the stands. If you are obnoxious, you lose your season tickets.
They can do this because they have a large season ticket waiting list! Compare that to what happens at New Era field!

So you make a weak attempt in discrediting 4 starters... Now how can you say they are in a better place with the picks and not the starters.
I never said they were better off with picks, rather than starters. But would you have tied those contracts to the team payroll. Those contacts would of put them in a bind next year. Would you have made Nate Solder the highest paid left tackle in the NFL?
What about the contracts that MB and Ammadola received? If you have players that can replace them you have to move on.

Specifically with the Pats tell us how the Pats will be better with the 3rd and 6th round picks they gained when they lost:
Nate Solder- franchise left tackle
Danny Amendola - sure handed WR with 660 yards of receptions and was a better than average punt returner. Some evaluators had him at the 8th most valuable at punt returns
Malcom Butler- starting CB who made the play to win a SB, helped shut down the falcons to win another and was not on the field that may have cost them another SB win.
Dion Lewis- produced over 1,100 yards
And dont forget to tell us what the Bills should have done to get these picks
Nate Solder was paid a ransom fron NY Giants, never voted to pro bowl
Danny Amendola will be 32 when tc starts, Endermann comes back from injury to replace him.
Malcom Butler is 5 foot 9, larger WRs ate him alive this year. Look at the salary he got.
Dion Lewis was they only loss that they might not have a answer to. But got super large contract but does have some injury issues.

Gms have to make tough decisions. No way B B could pay Jones, Hightower , Collins etc all the money they got from other teams!
Even with their numbers, how have they really effected their season records. Because of the Cardinals spending on Jones, it cost then a number of players, they wanted to retain but could not. Collins is leading the Browns to last place.. Gilmore may or may not work out but he has been injured.

Sorry that play was reviewed in NFL centers in NY. They made the call not the refs in the game, they signaled T D.

Bye 20 bills 13. Bye scores on att fumble in 4th quarter!
-
If they score more points than their opponent!
-
Did I miss something, Sammy Boldin and Darby back on team?
-
Ragland has no trade value yet! If you wait for game 4 most team will know you will cut him!
-
No way, Curry plays 82 plus games not 16. A lot of players are going to be disappointed.
Dan Campbell wants a live Lion at Detroit pratices.

If the player do not perform they’re lion food. Great motivation idea
