  1. Exactly... good way of putting it. Just because we pick early at #11 doesn't mean we shouldn't take the best Wide Receiver there. Who cares if people think Devin Thomas should go later, if he is the one we want, take him and let the "so called" draft experts complain all day long that we reached.
  2. Can you say Pipe Dream. Posluszny is the Brian Urlacher of our Tampa 2 system.
  3. Who is New England's second receiver? Touchdown maker Moss or reception leader Welker. Whoever that is, playing them twice probably made us look bad against 2nd receivers in the NFL.
  4. We trade down if he is there. No way do we waste our #11 overall pick on a 3rd string quarterback.
  5. Not to mention that Kansas State had a terrible year last year. If he had been on Oklahoma, I wonder if he would have been a 1st round pick... I would rather have Nelson than Kelly... that much is true. Hope we can get a game changing defender in round one and Nelson in the 2nd.
  6. I assure you that the Buffalo Bills are one of the teams that are not even considering getting in the Chad Johnson soap opera.
  7. It is my belief that last year our season came down to three games. Denver, Jacksonville, and Cleveland... we lost all three and missed the playoffs. This year I think our season will again come down to three games. Jacksonville and Cleveland again, along with San Diego. If we lose all three again, we will undoubtably miss the playoffs. BUT I say we will win two of those three games and make the playoffs with a 11-5 record! I'm curious to know what the rest of you think would be the top 3 most important games for the Bills to win. Yes each win is important, but what are the top 3? On a side note: Wouldn't it be great if the Bills went into the last game against New England and we both stood at 11-4? Imagine that we win and take the division back (it's been too long) and have a first round bye with a home playoff game? That would be worthy of tearing down the goalposts!!
  8. The Bills really will have no excuse for not making the playoffs this year. I think we need to sweep the Dolphins/Jets and beat either Jacksonville or Cleveland. If we do that, I predict we will make the wild card and be back in the playoffs. There is no longer any excuse!!
  9. I was thinking along the same lines. There should be a strength of schedule list and then a list of strength of schedule OUTSIDE the division. New England and Buffalo have an inflated easy schedule this year because 1/4 of the games we play (Jets and Dolphins) have a combined win total of 5 last year. I wonder who has the easier schedule ignoring the Dolphins/Jets.
  10. I think we have to worry more about beating teams like San Diego, Jacksonville, and Cleveland this year.
  11. Kelly won't fall to the 3rd and Cason won't fall to the 4th.
  12. Goodness I hope it is not that late!
  13. Tim Anderson was pretty good for the Buckeyes. In fact, more consistent over his Buckeye career than even sure fire top 10 pick Vernon Golston.
  14. YES a good Wide Receiver opposite Lee Evans will help us stop Tom Brady. Because we will more likely be able to convert more on 3rd down, keep the ball longer, and keep their offense off the field. It could mean two less posessions per game that Brady has the ball. That effectively... can slow down if not stop him.
  15. So Hollywood would only be speaking Spanish??
  16. The Monday Night Dallas Cowboy game from last year still smarts for me. I would have to say that another Cowboy loss was the worst. Our last Superbowl. I had a good feeling that it was our LAST CHANCE. And when we lost it, I cried... knowing we wouldn't return for quite a while, and I was correct.
  17. I think the 2001 draft for the Bills was pretty good too.
  18. Now that is pretty far from the truth, only losing 3 games in two and a half years and counting
  19. Excellent post and great thoughts. I can't say I agree with you any more than I already do. With that said... sorry... the Bills are going to pick a WR at #11, be ready for it.
  20. I really liked the Lawyer Milloy signing at the time.
  21. I don't think the Bills can HOPE one of the elite receivers falls to the 41st pick. I believe the Bills will be working the phones diligently to see if anyone wants to move up to #11, and if they don't find a partner... they will pick the top receiver on their board at #11. Ideally, they would like to move down and take a WR, CB and TE by pick #41.
  22. Evil people like to congregate together... that's probably all it was.
