He was damn near automatic here in Buffalo. Anyone remember that FG he made in NE a few years back to send the game into OT....We also won it in OT. That was in excess of 50 yards in nasty conditions. He sent it through......I swear the ball never got higher than 15 ft.....Great kick. If memory serves me correctly that was the same game that Drew got his finger snagged in Sam Rogers facemask in the 1st quarter and left the game. Sam Cowart was a monster that day also.
If that is true, we should check out France, the kicker for the Giants, the guy was pretty accurate during the PS and was routinely dropping the kickoffs into the endzone. I don't know what the cap hit is for getting rid of Lindell, but this kid France has a nice leg.

No work today, wife worked last night, so Im keeping quiet, and staying out of the house for a few hours to minimize noise levels. Later we may take a boat ride or just BBQ in the yard, school starts tommorrow for the kids.

Ok... so there's this big.. um... STORM coming through Florida, right? Check.
We've got a data center in Miami, or near it. Right in the path of the storm I gather. The employees are GETTING OUT with their families. So what do we do? We solicit brave souls from ATLANTA and ship them down to FLORIDA to wait out the storm IN THE DATA CENTER that is IN THE PATH of the DAMN STORM.
They're not going AFTERWARDS because they don't want to be denied access to the Miami area should the storm wreck stuff.
Is it me, or is this just STUPID? I've been joking about it all day... that our IT staff is going down to "protect Florida."
(Coincidentally, we fired half the Miami staff yesterday as part of a end-of-the-fiscal-year reduction in force.)
They're going to boot systems back up should they loose power. Ok. Pfft. Ak. Stupid! So a week from now when it comes BACK ON you can reboot something.

I live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I just bought the tix from a broker I found on craigslist. Prices dropped to where I paid 10 bucks over face and the guy is delivering them to my office this afternoon.
So Saturday will be hanging out on the beach all day, drinking some cold brewskis and seeing Buffett in the evening. What a day!!
We will be at the beach, actually the backside of the amphitheater, in Zachs bay, we should get there by mid day, and then may stay on the boat for the show, Its not as good as being inside, but we have beer and a abrbeque on board.
