Good Game from a Panthers fan.

All class. Newton is a player - I think your coaches aren't quite using him the right way, though. Kuechly is a player, too, despite what happened today. All the best, and good luck on the season. -
I'd settle for a Jimmy Graham

RE: #8 - their whole crew was out of it. There was a really cool segment on Hang up and Listen with the producer of Sunday Night Football, who could be credibly called the best in the biz. They talked about all the research and prep they had done to work within the pace of the no-huddle offenses. Fox clearly hadn't. I kind of liked Ronde Barber, but they were really out of sync all day. 13) Freddy, dropping that ball during the last drive on purpose = clutch. He should be a coach some day. And I also love Robert Woods, and that Eric Wood was among the first helping EJ and SJ celebrate. Nice to see Stevie being a big part of the win rather than a goat for today, too!

Great draft class: Manuel, Woods, Alonso
RuntheDamnBall replied to NYCBoozers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WHO EFFING CARES if it was a Buddy draft or a Whaley draft? Does it make a damn difference, at this point? It looks right now to be a good draft. I couldn't care less whether the cards were authored by Whaley, Nix, or a toucan. -
I'm seeing the same. As useful as Scotty has been the past few years, he is not an A1 TE, and he is especially ill-suited to a fast-paced offense. Even on the game-winning drive he looked like he was loafing to his spot. After the penalties last week, I'm really becoming less and less impressed with the guy. I HATE the trade Jairus Byrd talk because I think it's really unrealistic, but if there is a willing partner with a TE we like, I'd go for it at this point. It could be the difference between an overachieving year and the playoffs.

Forgetting their own culture. Not an encouraging sign. -

I do find Marrone / Hackett's offensive game plan a good bit conservative for my liking. I'd like to see more killer instinct. Hopefully, the more EJ shows what he can do, the more they take the training wheels off and let him go. The balance of CJ and Fred was refreshing, even if it didn't always reveal its merits throughout the game. -

Sometimes you have a right, but you can be the bigger person and not always exercise it. If there is nothing to look forward to here, one can easily turn it off. I'm enjoying watching the beginnings of what I believe is finally the next great Bills QB. -
Leodis McKelvin is great, Kiko Alonso sucks

EJ redeemed himself. That's what good QBs do. Stevie showed up when it counted, too. The defense kept us in the game despite the mistakes of the offense and the *sigh* many who hurt the team with penalties. Can't ask for more. Having ribs and my baby niece Bills fan over for every game until it doesn't work anymore! GO BILLS. -
Boo Hoo the poor Patriots!

No doubt. Team game. I think you can argue that he makes his teammates better, which is all you can ask of a QB. I hope, expect, and so far, see the same from Manuel. -
http://buffalo.ynn.c...y-hurt-in-game/ Keep this kid and his family in your thoughts and prayers, Bills fans. It does not look good for him at present. Reminds me that this is a rough sport that we enjoy, and it's incumbent upon coaches and families to teach these guys that proper tackling doesn't need to involve the use of your helmet.

Name-calling is the first refuge of someone who has no legs to stand on. I think Brady is a whiner, too, and I love to see him lose. But he's good, and I'm not whining about it (see what we just did there?). He won't be thought of as more of a whiner than a winner until someone finally unseats the Patriots at the top of the division. It might be fun to watch the butt-fumble or make fun of Brady or whatever, but the fact stands that our team isn't any better than theirs until they prove otherwise, and his poor sportsmanship is all cold comfort to me. PS LOL at calling KD a Pats fan. I think you need to come over for some ribs and a beer and chill the F out. It does matter, but look, you can't subtract Welker and Hernandez and Gronk from his arsenal and expect that it's not going to have some short-term impact. Taking Amendola -- his new Welker -- out, exacerbates it. The TEs were his game for the past few years, and they're just... gone right now. He can make a lot of players look good, but you usually need someone the defense has to respect to draw coverage away and create favorable opportunities. Right now all of the guys he has are too new, too young or too unreliable (see: Edelman, who can take over a game but also can get very lazy in his routes and doesn't possess super-glue hands). -
They good.

I think there's a serious difference between a medically administered dosage for a short time during healing and "abuse," but we'll agree to disagree. I am not advocating for abuse of anything, and I'd love to see these guys stop having to abuse painkillers as well. Your point about "keeping up with the Joneses" is well-taken, but I think if you regulate it your chances are much better than if you keep it strictly illegal in sports. -

And there are MDs who prescribe steroids. Under a doctor's supervision (which all these guys are) I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to use HGH to recover from injury. It is a far lesser problem than the dozens of legal (highly addictive) painkillers they are being overprescribed and popping like candy. -

Which is why it should just be legal. It doesn't turn guys into superhuman muscle-men, or make them hit harder, or make them stronger. -

Do you know what HGH does? -
I'd love to see them shut this **** cheapshot artist up with a bunch of EJ Manuel touchdowns. Knowing Vince he'll try to respond with an elbow directly at EJ's knee. He's a good player, and a complete tool.

Regardless of cheating, we want to be the team with the best QB, that consistently wins the division, that flattens divisional opponents with regularity, whose coach is thought of as one of the smartest in the game.
