Round 2, Pick 51: Andy Levitre, OG, Oregon State

Bills presser says he's going to play CB. -
If you use outlook and Word ALL DAY long and never have a problem on your PC, you're high. I have very high end HP computers--and in an office of hundreds of people, everyone has these issues. XP is much more stable than earlier Windows versions and still nowhere near as stable as OSX. Regarding games, they are mostly made for PCs and make no difference to me.
-
I use a PC all day at work and a Mac at home. Like others have said, there's no comparison. The most salient reasons not to get Macs before were due to their incompatibility with Windows software. This is no longer as true because most software that anyone uses has both a Mac and PC version (and web-surfing is the same on both machines). Certain software is unique to Mac or PC--but for the average-to lower-end power user, Mac will do everything. I do not like one thing about Windows more than Macs. I have had 2 Macs (One iMac and 1 laptop) for about 5 years. Never once had a single problem with either one. Never once had one "seize" and require a reboot. Never gotten an inexplicable error. They just plain work. PCs on the other hand...I rarely go a day without some unexplained seizure/crash.

Good luck finding that law on the books and if you do, it will never be found to be enforceable.

Right. Adults can marry. That way there's no discrimination.
-
How does it "hurt" society to allow homosexuals to marry?
-
So you think that gay couples--many of whom already get benefits from their cohabitant if they opt to --will disrupt the health system? You're really too much. Somehow, a few small states like California have already survived this...what makes you think that your argument has ANY merit? Help, hurt--who cares? Do you propose giving fewer benefits to older couples, who are at higher risk to health issues? Homosexual couples are adults who are in love. M-F couples can marry. What right do you have to get in the way of M-M or F-F couples? If dependent health benefits are your concern, suspend all dependent benefits but at least make benefits equal.

Starting a Kettleball Routine. Anyone Want to Join Me?

Here's how to stay in shape. Eat less, ie, always leave the table hungry AND Workout for an hour 5-6 days a week. For more details on the former, count calories. The easiest way to do that as far as I know is an iPhone app called Lose it!. -
The Craigslist Killer

I used Craiglist to buy and sell goods. Any exchange of services is dubious. -
The Craigslist Killer

It works great for selling sh--. Much easier than eBay. For the transaction handoff, I always meet somewhere public (Starbucks, Wal-Mart parking lot, etc.). Not because I think there's some sort of killer around the corner but just because it makes sense. Like someone else said, it's also not like I'm in the market for massage services. I've used it to buy/sell guitars, workout equipment, a couple of bikes, etc. Always been positive. -
No shock. As I've said before, this is his schtick.

Since when were you crossing the line...

Duh. Wrong opinions (and there is such a thing as right and wrong is there not?) affect how people think and vote. You, for example, are subject to constant ridicule for your opinions on PPP--and you often ridicule others for expressing their (usually more correct than your) opinions--so don't act santimonious like you're a "live and let live" guy because you are far from it. You're judgmental too. And that's a good thing. We should judge people when they say stupid things. That doesn't take away their (your) right to be stupid. -
Huh? You're against gay marriage because you think it's going to bankrupt the health system? That's dumber than the natural law argument that StupidNation made. No, that WAY WAY WAY dumber than the natural law argument. I bet if you think really hard about how stupid your argument is, you will even agree with me. I don't care that you said in your opinion. Is that supposed to excuse your ignorance?
-
You tell me. Why are most states telling two adults who they can and cannot marry?
-
This is his webpage, which is what he's famous for. http://perezhilton.com/ It will take about 2 seconds for you to "get" his schtick. In no way is he a serious judge or would anyone invite him for any other reason than amusement.
-
But here's the thing: THAT'S WHO PEREZ HILTON IS. He's a character. If you've never heard of him, imagine if the judges picked Howard Stern to be a judge. You get outrageousness when you invite a judge like that. It's what the pageant wanted or would not have invited him.

Christ man, get a grip. What is this "natural law" of which you speak and where can I find its formulation? Do you proceed through life based on natural law, ie, not using a car, eating processed foods, taking medicine, masturbating, etc. Oh Jesus, is the Internet natural? That case would be a cinch to appeal--some idiotic commission went AWOL in trying to force the photographers to act. It happens--there are dumb courts and commissions at all levels of government. As to the state funding "gay day" and "black day," I think they are both equally wastes of my money and yet still see not the slightest harm in allowing 2 people of the same sex to marry. Who gives a sh--?

I'm glad your life hinges on how a Miss USA contestant answers a question from a gossip columnist looking to drive up his profile.
-
We're pretty far gone down the socialist road. FDR probably manned the helm during the biggest turn we took down that road but no one since him has down anything but contribute to more of the same.
-
Gay is "morally depraved?" How is it "morally depraved" to love someone of the same sex? What moral is compromised? Are you saying that love between opposite sex peoples is de facto moral? Jesus H. And here's a newsflash about your kids (and mine): They won't be affected by it if gay people marry either. My daughter is (likely--who knows) straight and yet knows and has been exposed to many gay people. Somehow she didn't get "the gay" on her even though we have a gay couple as immediate next door neighbors and one of her friends has 2 moms, and she's had homosexual coaches and teachers. Get over yourself already caveman.

There can be only one answer and Al is it.

You CARE that Perez Hilton--a bitchy and petty reknowned gossip--wait let me start this statement again. You CARE(!) that he's supposed to be an impartial judge to the Miss USA contest? I see NOTHING NOTHING NADA NIL NEGATIVE wrong with it, mostly because he was selected to do what he did for a show that couldn't matter even a little. I am glad you have time to care about such things.
-
Wasn't Norman Thomas president for the last 8 years?
-
What Perez Hilton says about Miss USA now passes for politics? Jesus. Who cares?
