Listen clown, you are the one that mentioned "illegal overtime" in China. Explain that or stfu. If you can't back up what you post then maybe you should reconsider posting anything here.
My neighbor used to work for a large U.S. chemical company and would periodcally be sent to work at their facilities in China. The stories he would tell were shocking. The company had a large warehouse built next to their manufacturing facility to house its workers. The floor of the warehouse was divided into cubicles with room dividers. They shared communal kitchens and bathrooms and were forced to work "until the job was done",many days this was 16-18 hours. He said they were paid the equivilant of 18 cents an hour.He no longer works for that company.Think about that next time you see the Made in China label.

Wow... LOL... Poor Dieke!
Think the lawyers are lining... What if that was little child? At least Dieke was holding his own...
The officer was inside the restroom... The dog was po'd that he was left in the hot vehicle!
It's those damn Belgian Malinois. That breed is a danger to society. They need to be banned.
-
Sounds to me like Dieke had it coming.

No need to give the story for this one. Needless to say the HBO replay will get ratings...watch with this on your computer. Wow

Off the top of my head,it was the worst decision I have seen in a major fight since Leonard-Hearns 2. I had Bradley winning only 4 rounds max. I will have to rewatch this one, maybe I'll see something different the second time around. Right now it sure seems like a fix to set up a rematch.

We have a Pitbull named Pazy,a Chihuahua named Maxine and a Labrador named Scooby. My cousin once had a Queensland Heeler named Scooter.I always liked that name, not sure why.
-
Very funny. I could see my pitbull doing the same thing.

I'm jealous. I've not had good dim sum since I was last in Toronto with my brother two years ago. Btw Vancouver may offer the best dim sum on the planet.
What is dim sum?

Sly and the Family Stone's Stand needs to be on that list.

There's no way I would buy a house if I knew a murder or suicide took place there. I don't care how cheap I got it.

that is a loaded question that I will not answer on a message board. I think weed and booze making should both be legal
Yes.That is a "loaded" question. haha Get it? Loaded? haha

Not only should an app of this kind be legal,I believe it should be standard equipment on all new vehicles.

This reminds me of an incident I was involved in as a kid. We were all hanging around the schoolyard after school one day and this kid who was a couple years older and twice my size kept taking off on my bike. I told him to stop but he wouldn't,so I took a broomstick that was laying around and,as he passed by taunting me,I threw it thru the spokes of the front wheel. The bike stopped dead, and he flew over the handlebars and smashed face first into the asphalt. He got pretty jacked up,his mom made a big issue out of it,and I got suspended. That was about 1972. Things haven't changed much.

I would rather go without a season than to see replacement players.
-
Am I the only one who enjoyed the replacement games in 1987? OK, the games were about as well played as high school football, but I like high school football! I still remember the Giants-Bills game in Buffalo - the game where Lawrence Taylor crossed the picket line to play. It was a fun game - was it Todd Schlopy who kicked the winning field goal for Buffalo? Or how about the Monday Night game where Bill Walsh had his replacement quarterback run the option for the 49ers, and all Bill Parcells could do was laugh. Who would have thought that 20 years later the wildcat would be so popular?
I've read that during the last CBA, both sides agreed that they wouldn't use replacement players. But now that there is no union, isn't that agreement out the window?
I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I'm a fan of the city, the team colors, and the logo. As long as the players wearing Buffalo's uniform get them to the playoffs, I'm OK with that...
I can't get into watching scabs. If a union member disagrees with his union and makes the decision to cross a picket line I can live with it. May not agree with it,but I can respect a mans decision. But when an outsider enters into a labor dispute and crosses another mans picket line,he's a scab. Nobody should respect a scab.

I have lost most of my enthusiasm for the NFL over the past few years as well, for all of the reasons the OP stated and more. It is such a cookie cutter league. You can turn on a game on Sunday and if it weren't for the uniforms being different, you wouldn't be able to tell one team from another. With few exceptions, all the stadiums are the same, they all run similar offensive and defensive systems and the players are just mercenaries playing for a paycheck. Not that I blame them, they are professionals and are just looking out for their best interests.I would do the same. For me college football is where it's at. After watching college ball all day Saturday,NFL Sundays are boring in comparison.

Doesn't suprise me. Rumors about all kinds of dirty,SEC-like tactics at O$U have been around for years in Big Ten circles. Tressel has had over 300 self reported "minor" violations during his tenure there, yet he still has a squeaky clean image in the national media.Goes to show you how wearing a sweatervest and projecting a nerdy image can fool people.

What's propagating an unsustainable and failing system is people taking worse and worse care of themselves, while giving them buffet-style health plans (including Medicare and Medicaid) which lead them to waste health care dollars at their whim. The system isn't failing because Big Pharma is creating new drugs; that's just a symptom of the much larger "disease."
People are taking worse and worse care of themselves? Really? Compared to what era? It seems to me people are taking better care of themselves as compared to times gone by. There's alot more information available on nutrition and fitness, and people seem to be taking advantage of it. How many health clubs or gyms did you see 40 years ago? Now there's several in every town, and people are using them. Tobacco is slowly but surely being villified and less people are using it,and health food and organic sections are common in most grocery stores. Many health issues like heart disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes and even cancer have their roots in a persons genetics and can't be controlled by excercise and diet alone. It's easy to blame everybody elses health problems on them, but that ain't the realty.

what I can't understand is why lipitor still has $5+billion of the statin market when there are 3 generics available in the class and a paucity of data showing any single statin to be superior. Do people just enjoy paying 10x more than they need to or are some docs really that heavily influenced by cute drug reps in tight clothes? plavix is a big deal...know plenty of people who need it but don't take it do to cost.
Not all statins are the same. I tried taking generic simvastatin for a while but it made me feel like crap. My doctor switched me to Lipitor and the side effects went away and my cholesterol numbers are far better than they were with the generic. For me it's worth the extra money.

I was just reading that Forcier has transferred from Michigan to "The U." I thought the kid looked pretty good back in '09, before giving way to the RB michigan employed under center in '10.
If he can beat out Morris in 2012 he'll make the team slightly better, but i don't think the U will be any type of threat. Those days for the school are long gone, and probably not coming back. They are content with being a middle tier ACC program, and have no designs on returning to the glory days of the 80's, early 90's, and early 2000's.
Forcier could be a pretty good QB if he grows up a bit. He got kicked out of Michigan for academic reasons. Too bad,he may have challenged for the starting spot under the new staff, and at the very least provided nice depth.

No, they're really not. It's a popular uprising. Bahrain, Tunisa, Libya, and Egypt? Think about that...is there an "Islamic Fundamentalist" organization so organized that they can pull off that many popular uprisings in such a short period of time?
That does not mean, however, that there isn't fundamentalist groups that wouldn't be happy to take advantage of a power vacuum. Bahrain and Libya, in particular, I'd think are susceptible to this.
True and honest democratic elections in that part of the world may end up installing governments that are much more hostile to the West. I'm not convinced the general population there is as tolerant of us and Isreal as most like to think.
-
.....or a third option. These uprisings are being pushed by Islamic Fundamentalists who believe their governments are too friendly with the West and tolerant of Isreal. I don't know what the answer is,but I sure hope it doesn't turn out to be option 3.

28.Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
That's from the King James Version. I am a Christian and I personally feel convicted as to not get a tattoo. That's me. I've seen pastors that are tatted from one arm to the other. I don't agree with it, but they have to answer for themselves.
So does that mean you also abide by the prohibitions on eating shellfish and pork?
-
I'm Catholic but I've never really understood how people decide which prohibitions are to be taken seriously. I believe Leviticus prohibits things like eating shellfish and pork and even wearing certain colors. Why are some taboos taken so seriously and some are seemingly ignored?
