Of course he made the team.  He's a white DE.  We need some white DEs to back up our multitude of starting white DEs.

amen to that. somebody had better say it. its the fricking truth. why in the world do we have so many white DE's on this team??

Who cares? As long as they get sacks and pressure the QB's, and cause fumbles, then I do'nt give a damn what their skin color is. I do'nt see anybody questioning why all of our Tight Ends are white, or why all but one of our Linebackers are black.

  2. I only saw the Denver & Detroit games, and I noticed how fast this guy is. People will say, yeah but he did it against 3rd teamers, but so what. He has tremendous potential. What a great story he is too, being german born and making it on to the starting roster of an NFL team on his first attempt. I think the Bills have found someone special here.

  3. Wow, I certainly did not think that both McKenzie & Gildon would get cut.

Sorry to hear about Drew Haddad, I was hoping he would find a spot.

We all knew it would be either Pucillo or Sullivan, not both.

Not that surprised that Joe Burns stayed, since he is listed as the backup FB.

Too bad about Dominique Stevenson, he's been a good special teamer and backup LB.

Ben Sobieski was a surprise leaving, and Jon Dorenbos a surprise staying.

My condolences to the fan of Lauvale Sape.

Congratulations to Shaud Williams, he has looked sharp.

Congratulations to Constantin Ritzmann, this was the guy I was praying for. He has looked very good in the preseason, could be a diamond in the rough, and what a great story he is, coming from Germany. Way to go kid.

Now lets get Jason Peters on the P-Squad.

  4. Sorry if this was already posted.

Looks like we won't get a homecoming for Steve Christie after all.

    Here's the quote:

Jaguars cut kicker Christie, two others

    NFL.com wire reports

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 3, 2004) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars released three players, including veteran kicker Steve Christie.

The Jaguars signed Christie last week in an effort to stabilize their kicking situation. Rookie Josh Scobee had missed three of four field goal attempts in the first two preseason games.

But Christie never got a chance to kick in either of the Jaguars' final two preseason games. Scobee made three field goals in a 9-7 victory against the Green Bay Packers on Aug. 27. He made a 31-yarder against the New England Patriots and had a 51-yarder nullified by a holding call in the Jaguars' 31-0 victory on Sept. 2.

  5. I am sold on this kid, I say keep him. He also looked good on the punt returns.

On another topic, is it just me or does Rod Trafford look too small to be a TE? He has the build of a WR or H-Back more than a TE. Is he worth keeping at this position?

  6. First off, I am not a Bledsoe basher, I have been on his side. After watching tonight's game I will say that he has looked impressive this preseason. Ok, he only led one TD drive, but he looks very comfortable in the pocket. I think Drew is ready to comeback and show the NFL that he is still a strong QB.

It's an easy choice for me...NFL and no other. Though, I would prefer to make that "Football" and no other sport.

The draft wouldn't be much fun without a college season.

I agree with you Bear. It has to be all of Football. I love college just as much as the NFL. You have to have the draft too.

For the love of Christ, could someone please explain to me why Jason Esposito is still on our roster???

There is still one more preseason game and they need a few OL scrubs to play the 4th quarter. They have one 3rd string G and T left (Esposito and McFarland)

Esposito is one of the three NFL Europe exemption players. Look for him to be released next week.

  9. Hello everyone, this is for all of you who are coming to see the Raiders-Bills game, and have been wondering if there will be a tailgate. Here is the lowdown: There will be a tailgate party in the parking lot of the Oakland Coliseum. If you would like to be a part of it here is what you have to do. My group and several other groups are going to meet early Sunday morning at the Holiday Inn Oakland Airport, and then we will caravan to the stadium at 9am, and once there we will stake out a bunch of parking spaces for the party. The Holiday Inn is only one mile from the stadium, so it will be an easy trek. We are asking everyone to bring their own food and drinks etc. Right now we have about 20 people coming, and we would like that number to grow. Just a reminder, we will be leaving for the stadium at 9am, SO DO NOT BE LATE!!! If you are not there by 9am, the caravan will leave without you!!! If any of you here are interested, then feel free to contact me with any questions. My E-mail address is MarkVaderr@aol.com

Here is the address of the Holiday Inn, for those of you who want to make a mapquest: 500 Hegenberger Road Oakland,CA 94126

There you have it Bills fans, join us for a great time in Oakland. Ken Johnson will be joining us at the tailgate with the bowling ball. So lets all have a great time in the parking lot before we declare war on "The Black Hole" :D

    GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!
