My Off-Season Primer: Position Group: RB
Mark Vader replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Completely agree. Running Back does need to be addressed, but we don't have to spend big money in free agency or use a high pick in the draft for one. I'm sure Beane will find what we need. -
Did anyone hear mike ginnitti from spotrac on wgr

If he's so good, and I agree that he is, why would the Chargers part ways with him? -

My Off-Season Primer: Postion Group - TE
Mark Vader replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that Dawson Knox can be a TE1, but I'm not opposed to adding to this position. Tyler Kroft getting injured early was bad for him, and when he came back, he didn't do much. Tommy Sweeney has good potential, but is not likely a starter in this league. Lee Smith is primarily a blocker, and Jason Croom is completely outclassed by this group. Adding another TE via free agency would be great, the idea of having Austin Hooper on the team is tantalizing, but I doubt that the Bills are going to approach free agency that way. I think they may be content to go with who they have and address other needs. Drafting a Tight End is possible, but they may wait until Day 3 to do that. Knox & Sweeney are the foundation to build on. I like Kroft, but the injury issue is a big problem, and I would be fine if he was cut from the team. Lee Smith has been frustrating with a few costly penalties this season and he doesn't add much to the offense. However, McDermott loves his team leaders, and Smith is good at that. I would not be shocked if Smith sticks around because of that. -
My Offseason Primer, Position Group: QB
Mark Vader replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want to see what Josh Allen can do with more(better) weapons. He improved a lot this year, and I think he will continue to improve. I'm fine with Barkley as the back-up, but I'm not against upgrading the position. Chad Henne would be a nice addition, and if Andy Dalton becomes available, see if he can be brought in. -

Drafting a Punter would be a good idea. Hauschka woke up after the Bills put the claim on McLaughling and was never a problem afterwards. He should have at least one more good year left in him. We'll see about 2021. -
Louisiana State. Paying a lot of attention to Justin Jefferson & Tee Higgins.

Tigers Someone had to say it.

McDermott and Beane End of Season press conferences 1/7
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I'm sure they would love to do that, but that doesn't seem likely. Beane will be methodical in his approach to free agency. He did put an emphasis on keeping their own players, which is not surprising. They can definitely get one premiere player, maybe two, but that's it. -
Yes, Brown does get open, but by then Allen is already committed to throw to DiMarco. I'm still blown away at how close this strange play almost worked.
-
This is a very bizarre play. When I first saw it LIVE, I wanted to throw up. We just threw a bomb to DiMarco. Who thought that this was a good idea? Now that I have had a chance to watch this play several times, I can see that the bomb was not the intended play call. The Texans drop practically their entire team into coverage. Right away, no one appears to be open. John Brown does get a little separation at the end, but Josh Allen had already decided to throw to DiMarco. At first I thought Allen might run with the ball as a last resort, but there's nowhere for him to go. The pass to DiMarco is not good, it's under thrown. Despite that, DiMarco had a real chance of catching this pass. The two Texans defenders play it badly and DiMarco is right in front of them and could haul the pass in. Unfortunately DiMarco mistimes his jump and completely misses the pass. It's as ugly as it looked, yet it almost works. I give Allen credit for attempting to make a big play, even though the pass was short. Again, I highly doubt that this was the intended play call. I also noticed that Lee Smith did have a step on his defender and Allen might have been better off throwing to him, but that's too much second guessing. What infuriates me, is that the coaching staff really thought that this is the offensive personnel we should have out there, IN OVERTIME! I guess that's why I'm just a fan and not a coach.

Here are this years invites for the Senior Bowl: https://www.seniorbowl.com/accepted-invites/ Lots of Wide Receivers to look at.

That's me too. Born, raised and living in California and I'm a Bills fan.

The point that @Reed83HOF is making is that the Bills cap space for now and the future is very bright. Of course the cap numbers for 2021 & 2022 will decrease with the signings of other players. The Bills are in a position to be big spenders yet still have a good amount of cap room for the future. Would that be a fair assessment, Reed83HOF?

Is he retiring? He's a great defensive coordinator and someone should hire him.

Bills officially have pick 22 in the 1st round
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know. If Gross-Matos is there when we pick, I would run to the podium. If Jefferson, Peoples-Jones & Pittman are still there when we pick, that would be a great problem to have. -

Wade, Webb & Dodson are all I am really interested in. Although Nick Easley is intriguing.
