    Reading today's news articles, they say we didn't blitz at all. The LB's played the slants and curls, etc and took out the short passing game which frustrated Pennington. Even London in his post-game interview said they had contain the on the short/intermediate routes.

    You make too much sense. If we had that this year, we'd most definitely make the playoffs. The defense cost us a chance at postseason. I know offensively we struggled and didn't put up points but when we did have leads in the 4th quarter of games, we couldn't hold it.

    I get the feeling that we will somehow make it very difficult for Nate to leave next year.

    You guys forget that most of the big runs are right up the middle!!! You see huge holes, the linebackers run to it, but they don't make the tackle and the backs are suddenly deep into the secondary. How is this Aaron's fault???

    It will be something truly special when he breaks Mould's record of 1384 yards. That looks like it may happen soon.

    We need a running game to win games. A 100 yard rusher is any QB's best friend. And it keeps the D fresh.

    That was my predicton all season. 9-7 looked likely there for awhile but not anymore. The Ravens will not lose that last game if they get a first round bye.

    All you had to do to beat the Bills was stop the run. Their D-line played like ours in games prior.

    D was impressive in the 2nd half!!! And we had to starters on that unit not playing. 3 if you count Crowell. How the hell did the JESTS have a winning record?

    It makes you wonder why we choked against these very same JESTS at home when we weren't riddled with injuries.

    What's funny is that Aaron will surpass what Hansen did here in Buffalo. And he didn't have a Bruce Smith to help him out. Schoebel has been better than advertised and then some. It's foolish to compare any future Bills DE to Bruce Smith and completely unfair.

    Defense came out to play in the 2nd half. Now that was impressive. The JESTS are tools for refusing to run the ball in the 2nd half.
