  1. To me it felt like a death sentence when he was sent to Detroit in the Stafford trade, and look at him now. He has been put in the same breath as Carson Wentz as a cautionary tale. For example, when Josh got his big contract, a lot of his big haters were like "but look at Wentz and Goff!!" etc Rooting for him and The Lions.
  2. Yeah, they got the QB-Head Coach combo. All we got is the QB. Sean is good, but gets out coached in the playoffs year after year. I am also going to give it to The Chiefs gm. He never misses. I used to put Beane up there with Polian, and now I am not so sure. Love the Kincaid pick, and Cook has been working out, but he has had many blunders with draft picks and FA signings, like Von. I wish The Bills were in the NFC. The AFC is a gauntlet, and like others have mentioned, the combination of Reid and Mahomes is lethal. Kelce most likely is not playing much longer. Dude is like, 35? He showed up in the playoffs, but has slowed down a bit this year.
  3. I'm honestly at a point where it just doesn't matter when it comes to The Chiefs. They have won 2 SB's, have been in three, 6 straight AFC Championships. I guess at this point I would rather root for them vs another team getting ahead of The Bills(I am petty like that), but I think The Ravens will be tough. I can't not watch this game tomorrow, no matter how badly I want to disassociate
  4. Exactly. I feel like other teams have playmakers that step up and do something that can change the outcome. For us, it is Josh that is the playmaker. Closest thing i can think of is Von chasing after Mahomes last year, forcing him to throw and it got intercepted by Taron Johnson. Doesn't happen very often though.
  5. I went through this a couple years ago with my own father. I used to sit in the basement and watch Football with him and my brother when I was growing up. Our last game we watched together was "13 seconds". Still doesn't seem real sometimes.
  6. I found this to be a great read actually. The "worst" that would happen with a new coach would be to go to the playoffs and lose. Well, if we aren't used to that by now!! I think it's now or never. JMHO. I don't personally think they will, but at the very least, TALK to these guys. Give em an interview!
  7. Just disgusted with a certain portion of Bills Mafia.
  8. I usually try not to get into the personal lives of these players, but last year at this time was the beginning of the end for him and Brittany, and of course he started dating Hailee. I do think the things going on in his personal life played a huge role in his off season. Some massive life changes. I think it's great if he gets back in the lab, it will never hurt. Lab or not, the team always seems to find a way to win the division and get the 2 seed, so it's not like him doing other things in the off season has necessarily hurt, but it also won't hurt to get back to the fundamentals.
  9. I was going to mention that. I didn't remember seeing that in real time, but saw the picture on Twitter. Can he ever take accountability??
  10. The thing is, I don't trust Diggs to start his antics. He deleted his IG for now, but just give it a week or so before the cryptic stuff starts.
  11. Mahomes(not to take anything away from him, we all know he is special) also got to play against an extremely depleted defense, while all week we have heard about Josh having to go up against Spags defense. Put up 24 points, could have easily been 31. I would say Josh had the tougher task of having to go against KC's defense, and Mahomes got to play 3rd stringers and a guy just off the couch. Again, not taking anything away from him, and I would not be shocked if KC wins next week, but Josh had the tougher task last night and still played very well.
  12. I always wonder what fans the teams of the trolls are, and it seems pretty clear which one is your real team. Don't be too shocked in Mahomes comes in and walks away with a win buddy.
  13. This. I mean, we were at what, the 30 yard line? We aren't going to be able to kill off that much clock when you are that close. I guess if you keep executing 5 yard runs for a span of 2 minutes. There was a TD for the taking, so I don't think you turn that down. MHO anyway.
  14. No! I actually had a pit in my stomach watching the Ravens and Texans. I wanted to believe The Ravens are overrated, or that The Texans could put up a fight. Wasn't the case, and that game told me it is indeed their year. With how banged up our team is, I felt we would go there and get blown out. I felt like our game against KC was a fight to go get slaughtered in Baltimore. With all this said, I would not be shocked if KC somehow pulls out a win. They always seem to find a way. I just think The Ravens would have embarrassed us.
  15. No, I think you have outed yourself as to what you are and why you are here. Any Bills fan would KNOW they won a divisional game. That is all I will say on this matter.
  16. So you don't think Jones knocking Dawkins into Josh as he was throwing didn't impact that play? The difference is other teams always seem to have playmakers coming through for their team(Jones being the playmaker for KC) and The Bills relying on Josh all the time.
  17. What is this supposed to mean? This is how it becomes easy to spot trolls. The Bills could not have gone to the AFCCG 3 years ago if they did not win a divisional game 🙄
  18. Josh needs playmakers to step up for him. The problem is, they don't when he needs them the most. A perfect example of this is Chris Jones making a play that forced Dawkins to stumble into Josh, which caused his throw to Shakir to be off. That was huge for The Chiefs. Someone, somewhere needs to step up for him, and it rarely happens(Miller pressuring Mahomes into an INT last season is as close as it gets). It should not have to be on Josh, all the time, to have to be the difference maker. It's exhausting. Players need to catch balls, defenders need to do something(kudos to Poyer for his big play in the end zone last night). I mean, for whatever reason, it seems to be solely on Josh all the time and there is never any context into the matter, it just turns into "he didn't make the play when the team needed him to". Nevermind that he did all that two years ago in KC, with 13 seconds on the clock left, and it still wasn't enough. I am not saying his decision making doesn't need to be better at times or that he is always perfect, but I can't think of a player constantly more let down by the players beside him than Josh.
  19. We hear this every year, and every year all these AFC teams make splash signings, get new coaches etc and when it gets to the playoffs, it's usually a combo of Allen, Mahomes and Burrow/Jackson as the last three standing.
  20. Exactly where I am at. Also, hindsight is 20/20. What if Josh throws to Diggs and he drops again? The narrative would be "Shakir was wide open in the end zone!!!". Yeah, of course in hindsight you can dream about the coulda woulda shoulda's, but if a TD is there for the taking, you take it!! I can't fault him for throwing to a wide open Shakir. Josh did get hit on that throw unfortunately, well, Jones blocked Dawkins into him, which impacted the play, but had that not happened we get the TD. It's so ridiculous for Josh's haters(they know who they are, and I honestly think they love having any excuse to try and diminish him as QB) come out of the woodwork. I am going to keep it pretty simple here, this team would be a 6-8 wins team every year if we did not have Josh. He elevates them to greater lengths than they would be at if we didn't have him. He was the reason we were in that game at all, and that it was as close as it was, and that we had chances to win it. If you want to nitpick on his last two throws in an otherwise perfect game, have at it, but hindsight is 20/20 and we have no idea what would happen if he threw to Diggs or did some things differently.
  21. No margin of error for Josh. He played perfectly all game, then his last two passes were misses. One on him, the other because his lineman bumped into him. He has to play 100% perfect apparently to win, and if he has any missteps at all, he gets the blame from some fans, even if he had a great game.
  22. Oh, so THAT'S why we lost? Not the bad coaching or realllly bad defense that made it appear Kansas City was moving in butter? I get the disappointment over those last two throws, but he is the reason we were in position to possibly win had he connected on one of those throws. He should at the very least be last on the list for reasons we lost. I am putting the banged up defense as the main reason.
  23. This place sometimes, man. Wow. So, the guy that was the reason we were in the game and often drove down the field and made plays with his legs and arms is the reason we lost? The guy that would have been the sole reason we were in the game? Not coaching blunders or terrible defense?
