  1. You can’t take these hits completely out of the game, but at least the penalized hits that lead to concussions. If players start missing games it’s possible these hits begin to drop.
  2. Maybe he cleaned it up later but I stopped listening after he said he wouldn’t play here if they weren’t winning because it’s cold.
  3. McKenzie literally said the same thing a couple days ago.
  4. Milano’s hit was unnecessary. But obviously players would be able to appeal a suspension. The Tua hit I don’t think should’ve been a penalty, and it wasn’t. Some head injuries aren’t the result of a penalty. If a hit that causes a concussion isn’t a penalty it can also be reviewed and the player suspended.
  5. Even if intent isn’t isn’t there. Like take this hit on Tee Higgins. Penalty was thrown, but should be automatic ejection and 1 game suspension.
  6. Not targeting. Only if you’re penalized on a hit that causes a concussion.
  7. Should there be automatic ejections and suspensions for penalized hits that force players into concussion protocol?
  8. I won’t be surprised if they immediately change the “no go” loophole.
  9. Their coach said he suffered the back injury earlier in the game. You’re telling me they reported the back injury earlier in the game? I only heard about the back after he hit his head.
  10. I’ll save you time, There was no official injury reported before the game or during the game.
  11. That’s what I thought but I guess stumbling after a hit to the head only gets you evaluated. Then the doctors determine what caused the stumbling. In this case they’re trying to make us believe the stumbling was caused by his back. But there is no report of a back injury and we see him shaking and grabbing his head beg and after stumbling. How could the doctors determine the stumbling was back related? Visually everything looked to be head related.
  12. Was the back injury reported? Do NFL teams have to report injuries that get examined during the game? We have eyes. Honestly I would rather just have the old rules back where we didn’t care about concussions and just let the players decide for themselves. The NFL thinks we’re stupid.
  13. So I’m just kind of learning the details of “no go” protocol. So apparently if a player suffers fencing symptoms like we saw last night it’s automatic no go. Obviously. But if a player stumbles to the ground after a hit to the head all the doctors get together and determine what caused the stumbling? Are we stupid? That definitely sets up a huge loophole in the rules. Why would they even put that in the rules? Just in case a star QB gets knocked out in the Super Bowl he might be able to return? Yikes.
  14. Media hopefully doesn’t let them off the hook. We all have eyes. We saw it. The NFL has people watching to protect players from themselves. It’s the only reason they’re there.
  15. After Tua stumbled in the Bills game he shakes his head and grabs it with both hands. Not once did he reach for his back. That was a clear “no go” situation. Passing Concussion protocol doesn’t matter at that point. He should’ve been ruled out. We all have eyes and saw what happened. “No go” is all about the visual symptoms. The only person that could say he fell because of his back is Tua. Tua’s opinion shouldn’t have mattered.
  16. He’s good structurally. I think I read it’s neck muscle soreness. He’ll be good. He’s going to play.
  17. Would everyone support a mandatory 1 week rest period after a concussion?
  18. Travis Henry actually did that. Little did we know he was a drug dealer on the side. I’ve seen a few similar injuries where the player was fine. RB Bijan Robinson bent his neck in a similar fashion and was back at practice the next week.
  19. A little dated, but it could be nice.
  20. Maybe. Could be anything. Maybe Ed owes Coach money and Ed is saying he doesn’t have it yet.
  21. Conversation between Coach and Ed doesn’t look promising. A lot of shaking his head no.
  22. Not surprising. Pushing too hard. Not in football shape.
  23. Let him rest up. Why is he playing?
