John Murphy is nothing more than another paid mouthpiece hand picked by Russ Brandon to spew the same rah rah company line drivel over and over again.

A true master of spreading the OBD Koolaid.

His job title is Voice of the Buffalo Bills Radio Network, what do you expect?   He was even reasonable about the worst half of NFL football by a QB ever, it's his JOB.

I'm a Connecticut guy for 38 years.  My Dad is from Buffalo and was at the rockpile in 1960 and protected me from the Jets and Giants.  I am southern CT so Pats really weren't that popular until the mid to late 90's.  Funny how that works.

I am in a condo so no flag pole, but each game day I am in a jersey (Kelly, Reed or Jackson), the 4.5 lb dog is in a jersey and the baby twin boys are in Bills shirts.

4.5 lb dog? That, sir, is a cat.

Actually Taylor's 4th quarter stats are just fine. In fact people complain that when the Bills are down two scores he pads his stats.

The problem is either Taylor is good but the coaches are stubborn and narrow in their outlook or Taylor isn't good and so the  coaches limit his throwing.  I trip l it's mostly the former.

It's both.  Taylor is limited in his throwing, and the coaches are stubborn and narrow in their outlook.  Unfortunately, it's what we're stuck with for the time being.  Lets hope that they can figure it out for 2 more games.

My wife is from Spring Valley, and her favorite team is the Cowboys, then the Giants.  She thinks Eli is cute.

But after 40 years with me, she roots for the Bills every week.   She believes they suck and will lose every week, but she roots for them.

I'm from right down the road New City! Everyone in my town knows the Bills suck but are too afraid to tell me.

Winning now and planning for the future in this case each require different, opposed actions. Like getting a consistent deep dark sun tan while protecting yourself against future skin cancer.  Winning now by not teaching the offense they'll use in the future would mean starting all over again next year. That will hurt next year's team.

Dennison may not be here, I have no clue. But his offense isn't a quirky and unusual one, unless he had adjusted it to coddle Tyrod. Assuming Rico's gone they can bring in a guy who will require his QB to pass from the pocket. Great. Get the OL used to that now, and the skill position guys who'll be here next year as well.

I am with Augie, while we are still in the hunt, play to your players strengths. And if Rico gets canned after this season, this offense is going to change dramatically anyway. At the very least, if you can make the playoffs with TT, it may help attract some quality free agents in the offseason.

I think he is clearly making fun of the people who say they have inside sources at OBD

been a lot of those posts recently... if you start a sentence with my sources tell me

probably full of it... not definitely but probably

I am well aware of what he is up to. Nobody likes snark if it isnt funny.

    1) I like the idea of Joe Webb having a bigger role. As a wildcat/option QB.  Give Tyrod a chance to take a play off.

    2) If Joe Webb doesn't have a bigger role, be prepared for abuse from the internet tough guys.

Hopefully not bigger than last week.

Dont care about this year. Enough already. Look to the future, this team cannot sustain success with TT as the QB. Start the evaluation process now not later. One and done is the playoffs with TT means nothing at this point. Does not help the future at all.

You're totally right, all players want to go to teams that haven't been to the playoffs in 2 decades.  We should trade every starter we have for draft picks!

Again, giving up on a rookie after half a game and still believing 3 and out, again a 7 year vet that has proved NOTHING, can win a meaningful game.....ok. Uou will get your wosh on sunday and lets pray the Def is nice and rested because with a Great def 3 and out is what he is, a game manager that cant win it when the game is on the line......please, 3 years running, prove us all wrong 3 and out!

Why so much hate for a Buffalo Bill that wants to win? Did he shoot your dog? Snuggle your sister?  Just to be clea, and for what feels lime the billionth time, almost no one believes in Tyrod Taylor as the long term answer to this franchise's QB needs.  But against Miami, I think he is the better option that WQE. Why does that upset you so bad?

nope, just the rest of this year, so next year they know what to do with all the picks they have ........I was done with 3 and out half way last year, the Bills need a QB that can and wants to throw the ball.......and again, Peterman is a rookie and still has not played a FULL game, yes he threw 5 ints in his FIRST start against a very good Def. but  I dont think 60 or so passing yards a game is going to matter in the postseason, which i dont even think they make it with our without 3 and out, so start the rookie NOW and find out what he is.....

If you have a shot at the playoffs, you gotta take it.  "Worst Quarterback Ever" wont get us there (I can make up hyperbolic crappy nicknames too). If Taylor can't get it done vs Miami, THEN you see what kind of a long term backup WQE can be.

If they are going to go with tyrod the rest of the way it's time to just live with what he is. Run read option, designed runs etc.  Enough with this make him into a franchise QB with timing passing and west coast concepts. He will never be that ever.

1000 times this. We are in the hunt for a playoff spot.  Not the time to force a square peg in a round hole.  Play to your strengths.

All im saying is that it not far to bash someone after one start and defend a 7 year vet when he does nothing to win a game.   People need to keep in mind that the offense is programed for 3 and out and not a true pocket passer. wr are not ready for the ball to be on them while covered and the oline is always trying to block for a QB that holds the ball and scrambles.

Said the guy who calls TT 3 and out.   Look, I am certain that 99% of this board wants to move on from Tyrod, and I believe 95% feel that JP isn't the answer either.  But if both are healthy, I think that Taylor provides the better chance of winning, especially if the D is playing well.  If the D is a sieve and Taylor can't move the sticks, bring in the kid and try to air it out.
