  1. The Raiders could just as easily be 5-6 as 9-2...they have pulled out a LOT of close games at the end after trailing...statistically it's unlikely to keep happening...in reality things like this tend to be seasonal...Carolina pulled out games like that last year all the time, now they are losing them...likely Oakland will not be able to repeat that late game magic next year, so while they have a good record, they could come down a little next year if they don't get that D fixed...

But there is no reason to think the Bills get blown out there...

Offensively, it depends on which TT shows up. Defensively we need a solution for the deep ball.
  2. I like TT a lot, as you know, but I'd like to see TT's skills in a bigger, taller body as I am not sure TT can actually see the field that well as he "plays small". That bigger taller TT is CJ, but it will be 2018 before we see him. OBD in a big pickle here. I still just wonder if they pass on the TT 27mil and go with EJ for a year until CJ is ready. That way they can keep the rest of the roster together and also make it better. Hell, we're a 100% run game and defense team with TT right now and will probably end up 10-6 or 9-7, it almost doesn't matter who the QB is . I'd rather keep trying other big tall rocket arm QBs until we get one who can play at least to TT's current level. That means giving up on 2017, though, although I for one think EJ can play the Trent Dilfer role just fine. Or else TT needs to grow about 4 inches and add 20 lbs.

    Platform cleats?
  3. Naw, it was actually pretty lame. Same old picture with an un-original meme.

I honestly don't know what "tough guy kick" it is that you are speaking of. This apparently is everyone else's perception of me.

Again, this all started because I called Sammy a Boo Boo Kitty foot. Some losers here got upset I was talking about their boycrush. They came out and said "I bet you would never say that to his face". At that point I stated I think Sammy is a scrawny pu$$y and absolutely would have no problem calling him that personally.

At no point did I come out of nowhere just to say that. or state that I wanted to personally find him just to prove my manliness.

At the end of the day, I'm not the grown man getting all butt hurt that some guy in the internet talked bad about their favorite player that they idolize like some god. He's just a kid. He happens to have a really good skill set that has earned him a spot in the NFL. But that means absolutely nothing he cannot play through pain or can't stay on the field because he's constantly injured.

  4. BFD; 1999!

My God - common sense on this board, you will be attacked!

Just for those of us keeping score at home, you attack to OP with your post (which by the way, was not even a coherent response), and then IMMEDIATELY turn around and tell Dorkington that he's going to be attacked for "common sense on this board" (but in actuality the OP submitted a reasoned reply, agreeing with him).

    Are you serious?

  5. Context. Cool we have scored a lot of points. We still don't win a lot of games. So where are we scoring point? Just winning games big? Exploiting bad teams? What's the point differential between the wins and losses?

See context this stat really doesn't say anything other than since 2015 we scored a lot of points but are still .500

Of course it's context Bobby. We also may be giving up a lot of points of defense, which is also why we're stuck at 500. No one it refuting that its not showing the entire picture, you're just having trouble figuring out the larger point. I'm not sure why you keep posting the same thing over an over. But scoring more points, for a football team, is a good thing. But please don't reply with "Context" again. We get it, you understand the concept of statistics in a contextual fashion.

  6. Jesus it's context. Maybe it is trending great. But just posting point totals mean nothing. What did we rack 30plus against a 2 win team.

Cool scored a lot of points in the same time still essentially .500 so where is the context because something is causing the fact we can't win double digit football games yet score a lot of total points when you add all the games up.

But hey that would be to hard to make a stat meaningful

Points are what wins games Bobby. The more you score, the more likely you are to win games. Unless you are going to go and count garbage time points for every other team, I'm not sure what your point is. You should consider trying to punctuate more, it'll make your posts easier to read.

  7. Because it is lipstick on a pig. Doesn't say anything put it in context and where those points were scored then it means something

No different saying look this guy can get pressure he has 10 sacks this season. Context was he had 6 against a bad OL and then had 4 over the other 15 games

You are right, scoring points is stupid, who cares if we do or not? Think before you post, Bobby.

  8. Why isn't JT Barrett on the list? He is the QB that Cardale Jones could not beat out for the starting job in college after winning the national championship. In a very small body of work, Jones showed he has size, toughness, and a cannon for an arm. I just don't believe he is anywhere close to being able to play against a NFL defense. But who honestly knows.

That said it is TT to the playoffs and this discussion will be done.

    See "Other"....

Course we could also create the perfectly bad QB out of former Bills if we want to tank and get a better draft pick.

    Meet Thadle Joe Edwardson.

The lack of heart of Orton, the checkdown philosophy of Edwards, the lack of preparation of Billy Joe Hobert, the desperation of Thad Lewis and the IQ of Rob Johnson.

You forgot a few. Flutie's height, Taylor's inability to see the middle of the field, Bledsoe's mobility and Fitzie's overestimation of his arm strength.

  9. I never said I care what he said. I said the organization made him apologize. It was poor judgement. If you are going to get your feelings hurt by people on twitter, don't have twitter. That's the real story there.

Says you. It's quite simple, people call him names, he called them names back. It happens in the real world every second of every day. The real story is that we as a fanbase acted like a bunch of kitties and got all bent out of shape about it, essentially demanding the organization force someone to apologize because there was a vocal contingent that has low self esteem and are ashamed of their lives.

  10. That has nothing to do with it. If you are on twitter, people are going to be internet tough guys, you ignore it. He had to apologize for his comments, so obviously the organization considered it ill advised. It was not a good choice of words, even if there was truth in the statement. It never works to be offend an entire group of people because you want to attack someone who belongs to that group who hurt your feelings. Ex. People with little jobs. I just think it shows he doesn't always post smartly on Twitter.

Oh no! Won't somebody think of the CHILDREN!
