  1. How about something like this: Superhero Rookie *** Group: Members Posts: 862 Joined: 9-March 03 Member No.: 2,460 Wonderlic Score: 7
  2. That isn't much more far fetched than the other thing Florio writes on his crappy little site.
  3. if the diapers don't work, White Castle burgers will do just fine.
  4. He's just trying to re-package him so he is tradeable.
  5. Since when has the Mountain West, formerly part of the WAC, become a big time conference? Yeah, there were some serious bullets flying when Smith had to face powerhouses such as New Mexico, Colorado State, Wyoming and UNLV. The stats can be deceiving as has been proven by all the qb busts to come out of this conference, Kelly Stouffer, Ty Detmer and many more BYU qb's, Dan McGuire, etc., etc,...
  6. My bad. He's a salary cap casualty in their effort to clear space to trade for Pace.
  7. Jay Foreman, another TD castoff, was just waived by the Texans.
  8. The guy who said that Losman rated out better than Smith, Rogers was John Murphy of Next Level Scouting, Inc. who was on NFL radio on Sirius. Yeah, Losman may have an "89" according to ESPN, no doubt the ultimate authority in the draft, but they probably removed some points for being "too cocky".
  9. He did prove himself in college. Jim Kelly was pretty cocky coming to Buffalo.
  10. It is certainly too early to tell, but, so far, it looks as if TD made the right decision on getting Losman last year. Another thing, since when has being "cocky" been necessarily a bad thing in sports? Few complain about TO being "too cocky" or Shaq being "too cocky". Why is it a supposed problem ONLY with Losman?
  11. With that high IQ, you'd think Marv would have at least learned to manage the clock(see SB 25).
  12. This debate will end after J.P. has a bad game and people start calling for Holcomb to start. A new argument to fulfill fans need for conflict.
  13. Viewing the posting history of JohninMinn is similar to viewing the private room of an obsessive, psychopathic stalker. John, J.P. is our qb, get over it. Have you sought counseling?
  14. Cleveland was screwed by the league. They didn't have an organization until 8 mo's before the season started. The NFL used Cleveland as leverage for the other teams trying to get new stadiums, and other tax subsidized goodies.
  15. How about Tim Couch?!!
  16. That is a perfect comparison. Drew's parents, wife, kids, friends are all telling him he's still great and will go to the HOF and that evil Simon, err TD, is not being fair, yada, yada. As Simon would say, "Drew, you were dreadful. I've seen better performances in the arena league."
  17. I'm keeping my expectations low on JP for next year. If he can consistently complete screen passes to McGahee, he will be an improvement over DB.
  18. I despise Todd Collins. We wasted a 2nd rounder on him when nobody else had him projected that high; he followed a legend and just flat out sucked; and he's from Michigan.
  19. I love when I hear these guys talk like they're experts about the Bills. I guarantee that if they had watched every play of every Bills game (as the people on this board do), for the past 2 1/2 years, they wouldn't say the things that they say.
  20. This post belongs in the "Stupid Hypotheticals" forum.
  21. Teams from different eras are often compared and the Pats, in terms of talent, do not compare. I believe that Belichick is light years ahead of all other coaches that he could be coaching the Cardinals next year and make them competitive.
  22. In terms of talent, they do not compare with great teams from other eras. I suppose you could say they are one of the greatest coached teams of all time.
  23. Yeah, the Pats deserve credit for getting the job done (with nothing to spare) the past few years. However, because of the salary cap and free agency, there are no really exceptional teams in the nfl. Props to Belichick for getting the most out of his talent, but as far as NFL's greatest teams, the Pats aren't in the same category as the Steelers of the 70's, 49'ers of the 80's or even the Cowboys of the 90's. They're a dynasty in a forgettable era.
