Mario Williams: no love for
ajzepp replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks, much appreciated. Looks like these texts were from over 6 months ago when emotions were high. Very glad that it's not something he's doing currently...this chick is cold-hearted to release this stuff to the media...she may be the "c word". -
James Walker uncharacteristally upbeat about rookie class
ajzepp replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
James Walker isn't someone I read anymore. The other day this moron was saying how there is a Bills QB controversy now, cause Marrone had Tarvaris Jackson taking first team snaps. Anyone with a clue knows that that was the Bills plan all along...to rotate the QBs. It's just a lame attempt to get attention to his articles when we all know there is no story at all to be had. Exactly. -

Cannes Film Festival 2013 - *UPDATE* Shots ring out! Jewel Heist&#
ajzepp replied to ajzepp's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Man, lots of drama going down at the festival! Christoph Walts almost gets blown up by a hand grenade, and a supposed inside job results in the theft of some expensive jewels! Wish I was there! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2326374/EXCLUSIVE-I-feared-life-Christoph-Waltz-left-shaken-man-points-hand-gun-threatens-blow-studio-hand-grenade-Cannes-TV-interview.html http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/1-million-chopard-burglary-cannes-524563 -

Powerball Saturday $600,000,000

Exactly...I've bought tickets like three times in the past few weeks with my pecker hanging out. It's great! -
Powerball Saturday $600,000,000
ajzepp replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
I enjoy picking up a lotto ticket from time to time, but I've recently signed up to buy tickets online here in Georgia and it's so much more convenient! I've been spending about $5-6 a week on the mega millions and powerball, and they send you an email whenever you win. The other day I pretty much crapped myself when I saw an email indicating I was a winner...I opened it up and saw that I won $4, but hey, it's a start! I highly recommend checking to see if your state has online play... -

I think the guy is a punk...I was rooting for him out of high school, cause I was living in Philly when he decided to make the jump to the NBA...but the more I learned about him, the more I though he was just a selfish jerk. I used to be heavily into the NBA in the late 80s and throughout most of the 90s, and it's always bothered me when people say Kobe is in the same league as MJ. Clearly even Phil Jackson can't find one area where Kobe was on par with MJ...straight from the Zen horse's mouth.
-
If there is one person who can definitively say whether Kobe could compare to Jordan in any way, it's Phil... http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/9285372/phil-jackson-compares-michael-jordan-kobe-bryant-book

Oh, so without the upgraded version you have to add the episodes manually or something?

I think it's easier for me to dismiss it cause I've been critical of Donovan for a while now. He has his moments, and clearly he's talented, but I've always considered him overrated and a bit of an egotist. He's one of those players I can see causing resentment among the team, where people don't play up to their potential because of his presence. It wouldn't surprise me if the team played better ball without him.

Fall from grace - worst movie sequels
ajzepp replied to Dragonborn10's topic in Off the Wall Archives
A-fuggin-men, brother...those movies don't even exist to me. I consider them the worst sequels given how far they fell relative to the original matrix film, which was absolute perfect sci-fi, IMO. I've seen the original probably 20 times and it still holds up to repeat viewings. One of my favorite films of all time. The sequels were cash grabs that became absolutely ABSURD by the time they were done screwing with the story. If the original wasn't such a stellar film, I wouldn't be this biased against the sequels, but I really thought they took a great thing and completely ruined it. -
I'm glad you mentioned that...looks like you get a seven day free trial, and then the premium features become disabled. Does the paid version have more content, or mostly convenience features? This works pretty much as well or better than the iTunes app...I dig it!

Just downloaded the "BeyondPod" app on my Kindle...works great!

Very cool, thanks man...I love the art of stand-up, so will fire him up tomorrow on my day off. On the drive home tonight I was listening to the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast where he interviews Kevin Nash. I've always been a fan of wrestling, and these days I continue to watch mainly because I'm fascinated by the business and I love seeing how they get guys "over". This show was HILARIOUS! Steve is dropping f-bombs and swear words every other sentence, and listening to him read his advertisements is pretty funny as well. It's a pretty hardcore look into the wrestling business...no character crap or story lines. I love hearing about this stuff and I can see this one becoming a favorite of mine for sure. Anyone who has ever had interest in wrestling should give a listen!

LOL, I bet the Liverpool one is interesting as hell...I never even thought about looking for a cast like that...great suggestion!
-
lol, nice!

I still remember back in the year he was drafted, I was REALLY wanting us to draft Antowain Smith...so when Tampa Bay took Dunn a few picks earlier, I was glad about that. Antowain was a decent RB, but would have been so cool to have drafted Dunn instead. As you pointed out, he was just a little guy..I really never would have guessed that he would have been as durable and productive as he was. He and Alstott were a pretty nice tandem for TB

Apparently Murph is going to discuss the Eagles and the NFL in China tonight...must be a slow news day!
-
I guess that's one more reason to like him since Im an Emory grad, as well...kudos to him! I remember hearing about his mom being killed and how it affected him. He used it as the inspiration to create a program where they build houses for the needy, IIRC. Just a great guy all-around....and wasn't a bad football player, either.

That's another one that I saw listed as one of the most popular casts (per iTunes), but I wasn't sure what it was about. I like Hardwick on the Talking Dead, the show he hosts after the Walking Dead episodes each week. I'll definitely check that one out...sounds like it's something I'd enjoy. Glad to know at least some other TBD'ers are listening to these things...I love that some of these guys even do casts from their apartments or houses lol...it must be a super inexpensive way to have a show.

Never been there, but know a lot of people who have. Heard nothing but great things about it as a vacation spot. It's also very popular for honeymoons, so you have lots of newlyweds roaming around. Supposedly very clean and nice with lots to do.
