  1. Yes, it has.
  2. How many people who drive an SUV have 7 passengers to carry or tow? Yeah, thought so. They need to carry 7? Buy a mini-van. Still not as good as a car but better then a SUV.
  3. Must....resist....jokes...... Thanks Canada. Wow, that was hard.
  4. Rochester officially joins the ass-raped club. $2.69 on the way to work, $3.09 on the way home. On the plus side, maybe most of those SUV driving soccer mom retards will get a sensible car.
  5. There, have I covered your next 8 posts? God you're becoming nauseating.
  6. Going to one of the top 100 schools in Indiana would have though.
  7. Do you honestly think dropping some pallets of water from the sky will help? All it will do is cause a mass riot of people going for the water, probably ending with people getting shot or trampled. And do you think most of the elderly, sick and children will get water? No, it will be horded by the young, able people who get to it first. There is no good answer at this moment.
  8. From CNN Time to bring in the army and shoot the trouble makers on site. If they cause one person to not be rescued and die from their actions, it's justifyed.
  9. Guess he should have been a little smarter and left. This seems kind of odd A three story building underwater? Is this typical Fox reporting or is it seriously 30 feet deep in the 9th ward?
  10. I never said he did. But his point was in relation to Katrina striking N.O. and the fact the Netherlands are below sea level. Yes, people in low lying areas expect flooding to be a part of their lives. Millions who live along the Mississippi know it's a matter of when, not if there will be another flood. I think this would be a better comparison for the Netherlands. Are there people in the Netherlands worried about a equivalent cat 4 striking a city with 1.2 million people? Not really. They were faced with hurricane force winds and high tides in 1953 that led to a major flood. The dyke and levee system is far beyond what it was then though and it's not likely to happen again. They are more concerned about prolonged rains. The last big flood in the Netherlands was in 1995 and guess how many deaths there were. 0. The flood was caused by the rivers, not the sea. Same with one in 1993. New Orleans will be rebuilt and that $20 billion levee system better be built with it or this will just happen again.
  11. And I'm sure you can point out where I said that.
  12. While that is true, the Dutch also have a good perspective of what they are doing. They have a $20 billion levee system, but they also have realized that much of their land is going to be underwater and have given up the fight for it in those areas. Those atlantic storms can be nasty, but they've never seen the equivalent of a cat 4 hurricane, at least not one that I can recall.
  13. And I'm sure they're worried about a hurricane coming up the English channel.
  14. Well...at least you're alive to fill up your cars. Quit bitching for christs sake.
  15. Put it in your sig line if you'd like You can correct my spelling too.

  19. A N.O. tv station has a mention of martial law and hasn't retracted it. http://www.wwltv.com/local/stories/WWLBLOG.ac3fcea.html
  20. Your fellow Americans need you. Katrina is unfolding to become one of the greatest disasters in American history and the full extent isn't even known yet. If you can, I ask for you to contribute to the American Red Cross. This will be a relief effort on a scale that's never been seen before. You can contribute by going here. Donate to the Red Cross If you don't have the financial means, there are other ways to help. Donate blood. The relief effort will put a strain on the blood drives in the areas hit by Katrina. This needs to be made up for by others. Also, you can volunteer at your local Red Cross chapter. This will free up trained disaster relief personal to travel to the area to assist. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
  21. Sadly, I think that the media focus on N.O. may have caused many people in Miss. to not take the precautions they should have.
  22. Where else would they play? I suppose a college field closer to N.O. would be another option.
  23. Futures just went up $4. I'm guessing $3.00 a gallon by wednesday.
  24. That could easily become another home game. In fact, the Saints could conceivably have to play every game on the road.
  25. If you're looking for a local persepctive, here is live streaming news from N.O. http://mfile.akamai.com/12912/live/reflector:38202.asx
