1. Its going to be the Celebration of Champions thing.  Tickets go on sale this week and I'm sure they'll be whoring it off like crazy.

Not to sound like an idiot or anything....

But what in the blue hell of Donahoe is the "Celebration of Champions"?

  2. No matter what TD feed us, I think it's pretty obvious that Mularkey is not too keen on Lindell. Anyone who is keen on Lindell is obviously blind. If Nugent was still around, I would have liked to have seen us grab him. But it wasn't in the cards. So what are our other options?

    Owen Pochman and Joe Rheem.

The fact that there are 3 kickers on the roster alone says something. Buffalo always brings in someone else during training camp to push the kicker a little and help out. But to my recelection (sp?), I don't remember ever having 3 going into training camp.

Unfortunately, all one needs to do is read this article and look at the stats to see that Pochman is DEFINITELY not the answer.

So what about Joe Rheem? Well, most draft places have him rated among the top prospects available; but usually no higher than 5 (Behind Nugent, Tyler Jones, Dave Rayner, and Jonathan Nichols). Two of those four men were drafted. So the question remains: Is he "camp fodder" or is he a legitimate contender?

Most kickers in the league go undrafted and are given a shot. I think it's time we do the same. I for one hope that Rheem can overcome a couple of his negatives and beat out Lindell. Here is some info on him:

The knock on him is he is inconsistent passed the 45 yard mark. Inside of that, he's money in the bank. If he can work on that, he's an immense upgrade from Lindell; who is automatic from nowhere.

  3. NFL | Wright may Consider Supplemental Draft - from www.KFFL.com

    Tue, 10 May 2005 06:32:57 -0700

The Los Angeles Times reports USC DL Manuel Wright is deciding whether to return to school for the 2005 season or make himself available for an NFL supplemental draft, according to his father. He said a decision by his son could come as soon as Wednesday, May 11. Manuel Wright bypassed spring practice to work on his academic issues.

The kid always seemed very good to me when I watched SC. He was stuck behind Cody, but broke away from the pack when Cody switched to DE. I wouldn't mind grabbing him if he was still there in Round 3. Here's some info on him:

  4. If there's a trade on the table, we have to take it. Anyone who thinks TH will wise up and play is kidding themselves.

I for one would like to see TH to the Eagles (and maybe a late round pick) for Corey Simon. They want him out and have already replaced him. We could use the help in the middle.

  5. I am so sick and tired of this racism against people from Poland in our society.

BillsFanForever19, if you like Polish girls you go ahead and do 'em.

    LMAO

I'm a little confused as to where that's coming from but hey; it's pretty funny. Especially since my girlfriend and I do have a small percentage of polish in us.

But anyways, I apologize if it pissed anyone off. Honestly, I didn't think two polls with valid questions was going to be that bad. I just wanted opinions <_<

WWE.com: WWE Fans at the 2005 Hall of Fame and all over the world chanted, "One more match." You delivered that to them tonight. Was this Hulk Hogan’s last match?

Hulk Hogan: Well, I am not thinking about that at this moment. It was a great night for Hulk, Shawn and all of the WWE fans. I feel really good right now. It will really be a tough decision. It’s so hard to give up what you love doing. Hanging up the boots will not be an easy thing to do.

"If the hip is OK after this one, I might consider a return on a part-time basis to complement the current roster,''said Hogan.

At the Backlash PPV, there was no mention of retirement. Everyone just assumed that because of all the "one more match" chants, that's what it was. But in all actuality, that's not a fact.

  7. Chiefs | White will not be signed - from www.KFFL.com

    Mon, 2 May 2005 06:32:16 -0700

The Kansas City Star reports the Kansas City Chiefs have decided not to offer a contract to undrafted rookie free agent QB Jason White after the completion of the team's weekend minicamp. HC Dick Vermeil told the 2003 Heisman Trophy winner to consider the Arena League. Chiefs president/general manager Carl Peterson said he'd be willing to give other NFL teams film on White's weekend if they're interested in looking at White.

I think we should sign the poor kid. A Heisman winner is at least worth a look-see. Especially since we have Shane "I'm not Sure" Matthews skipping mandatory camps.

  8. Browns | Winslow Stands to Lose Money - from www.KFFL.com

    Mon, 2 May 2005 19:47:07 -0700

Adam Schefter, reports for NFL.com, Cleveland Browns TE Kellen Winslow Jr. stands to lose a good deal of money because of his recent motorcycle accident. His incentive-laden, six-year, $40 million contract is littered with language that forbids "hazardous activities" such as motorcycling. The team could possibly ask Winslow to return the $4.4 million option bonus they paid him March 1, as well as a significant portion of the $6 million signing bonus they paid him last year. His contract also has salary escalators which he may not be able to obtain, depending on how long his injuries keep him sidelined.

How much do you want to bet Winslow's going to be screaming to get out of Cleveland?

Get ready for the "letz trade Travis fo Winslow!" posts

  9. Freester -- will you get a life already?  Stop trolling the boards with whacked-out trade/FA theories and get some exercise.

    325876

Yeah, trading Travis for Bubba is indeed "whacked out".

But I would throw an offer his way. If the Eagles match it, oh well; at least we tried.

  10. He'll probably keep it.

For some reason it's the new "in" thing for Rookie's to do. Last year Roy Williams, Larry Fitzgerald, and Reggie Williams picked 11 and stuck with it. Braylon Edwards has already stated he's going to be #17.

Damn you Keyshawn! Look at what you've started!

  11. Well then, that begs the question: Is Woodbury the best available black quarterback?

    323034

I don't know. But he's definitely the best one on the Bills roster lol

Seriously though, I didn't think that one comment would be as big as it has been made out to be. Race aside, with Shane being constantly unsure and constantly saying he wants to retire; i'd like someone else at the #3 QB position.

I like that Woodbury is on the team and can also play WR and Special Teams. I think he'd be a good fit at #3.
