  1. that sounds good, but you would have to give up Shobel, Jennings, and Williams to do it....

hes not going to go from 10 mil. a year, to 2 mil a year.

I'm pretty sure that Schobel is gone after this year. Big Pat, I think, will stay a Bill. Jennings wants to go to Atlanta, and probably will. Leaving LT as a major problem position for us in the future, especially with no #1.

But you what, at this point, lets worry about next year, next year. Lets put the best team on the field in 2004 and see what happens.

  2. Too bad he doesn't play outside in FL anymore. Heck, I'd go party in the hurricane for just one more time like that.

Thats the only time I ever saw him. About 12 years ago he played a show on Ft. Myers beach. I was down there with my family, and a few friends of mine, with their older siblings, and I went to the show, as a last minute thing. It was incredible.

Why doesn't he play outdoors in Florida anymore?

  3. We will be at the beach, actually the backside of the amphitheater, in Zachs bay, we should get there by mid day, and then may stay on the boat for the show, Its not as good as being inside, but we have beer and a abrbeque on board.

I've actually never seen a show at the Jones beach amphitheatre. I hear its great tho. We'll be at the beach & tailgating in the lot all day. We have pretty good seats so, I can't complain.

The boat sounds great tho. Thats a nice way to see it if you can hear the music.

  4. You need to be stung by what he sings about. You need to spend a week sitting on the beach, doing nothing but drinking, snorkling, eating, relaxing, dancing, tanning, listening to the ocean, watching chicks in bikinis, drinking cold maggies with a Cuervo chaser...maybe visit the Caribbean or the like.

Exactly, you just have to feel the vibe in his music. It just makes you want to chill, relax and do nothing for the day, cept drink and look at chicks in bikinis.

I've been to Webster, dude. Buffet ain't singing about Webster.

    That was funny!! :devil::)

  5. I live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I just bought the tix from a broker I found on craigslist. Prices dropped to where I paid 10 bucks over face and the guy is delivering them to my office this afternoon.

So Saturday will be hanging out on the beach all day, drinking some cold brewskis and seeing Buffett in the evening. What a day!!

  6. I was being sarcastic, but actually I have a lot more faith in this line than most people do. I think by no later than than week 4 (after the bye)this O line will be a prett solid unit. With Drew getting rid of the ball faster and having two RB's to wear down Defenses, this line is in a great position to finally get better.

That said, week 2 at Oakland scared the hell out of me. With the line they have there, you have to gameplan to pass more than run. The line is going to get one hell of a test trying plug up T.Washington and still account for Sapp.

You had better be right. Week 4 we host the Patriots in a game, that I believe, will tell us a LOT about our chances this season of doing a damn thing.

  7. I was there in july. Some guy tried to offer me a tee shirt with the WTC with a backdrop of an american flag and an eagle flying in the distance. That shirt was offensive to me, illegal to sell (as per some mandate about selling merchandise on that block), it screamed tractor convention. In all seriousness though, i told the guy that he shouldn't be selling that stuff here, so he left me alone. I don't even think people should bring cameras there. That to me is sick. This toy, upon further review was very much intentional. Can't really judge who made it, or why, but its very much offensive.

Ain't that the truth. Down here its like the new Disneyland, with the memorabilia & tour buses etc. I've been working righjt across the street (in the building with Brooks Brothers) since pre-9/11. It has gotten ridiculous.

As to the toy...its ridiculous, but are any of you suprised? We live in a pretty sick !@#$ed up world.

  8. The NBA game has become a joke and I'm glad these players that represent the NBA got their a$$es kicked. Maybe next Olympics we can go back to sending AMATEUR athletes to play, because after all, that is what the Olympics is supposed to be all about...an AMATEUR athletic competition.

But every other country always sends their pros, always have, always will. Why shouldn't we?

  9. I have never HATED a person. I truly HATE Killdrive. I hope that piece of stevestojan jumps off a bridge somewhere. I had higher hopes for last season than any season since 1992. Killdrive killed those hopes. !@#$ YOU KILLDRIVE!!

The Giants are stupid for letting Killdrive anywhere near their franchise QB.
