  1. I wish I could make Gilbride the scapegoat for everything that goes wrong at MY job!
  2. Yeah, you knew it was coming... but at the same time you would have been disapointed if I didn't do it.
  3. I almost drove off the road laughing when I heard it. One of my buddies called it in - it was a running joke from the night before at our fantasy draft. Every time my pick came up, all the guys started going, "DRRRREEEEWWWW!!!" or "Mike Picks Bledsoe!" Funny stuff.
  4. The thing that I like about the Pats (at least last year) was their ability to win any type of game: Shootout (vs TEN, 38-30; vs DEN, 30-26), low scoring game (vs. CLE 9-3, vs. MIA & DAL 12-0) - that's just off the top of my head. By extension, Brady can also be effective in any type of game as well. I know you're surprised by my response.
  5. It all depends on whether you think it's a trend, or an anomaly: Patriots, post-Bledsoe era, games decided by 6 points or less: 16-1 Overtime: 7-0
  6. He'll be here in three... two... one...
  7. Did he make a solo tackle? Wait - I should have checked before I made that comment. Where is Wire on the criticism meter? Is he more toward the Bledsoe side (can't be criticized otherwise the Thought Police follow you around) or the Pucillo side (rip away, good taste be damned)?
  8. I've disqualified myself from making smart-ass comments on the subject of this thread.
  9. Aww, is that you who's been following me around looking shy and a-scared? You know the restraining order says you have to stay 1,000 feet from me, Woogie.
  10. This is starting to remind me of the end of There's Something About Mary.
  11. So if all Pats fans = TBone, do all Bills fans = billsfanone? (Kidding, T-Bone) Historically, all four times ('86, '97, '02, '04) the Pats have been to the Super Bowl is when they've started out slow. The key thing, as you all know, is to get better and better as the year goes on.
  12. The operative word is "pre-season". Not worried... yet.
  13. Would anyone be offended if I used the names J.P. Kerrigan, Troy Gillolly, and Drew Harding? Or is that a violation of my new anti-defamation policy?
  14. Oliver Stone checkin' in... there's something eerily familiar about this. J.P. Losman = Nancy Kerrigan Troy Vincent = Jeff Gilooly Drew Bledsoe = Tonya Harding
