  1. Anyone wanna talk draft?
  2. I think his wife wanted to live in Baltimore, no? The general sentiment of this thread is dead on, though. In most cases, the dollar trumps all.
  3. It was Eric Kuselias filling in for Dan Patrick.
  4. Well, as my name indicates, I always thought that Donahoe was more style than substance, and that you guys weren't going to have a whole lot of success until he was jettisoned and someone was brought in who would build the team from the lines out and not the other way around. I'm not sure about bringing in a guy who's never been a GM before, but Levy's a great football mind, and I think he'll do a good job for you. As for the most recent move, I think Mularkey helped the Bills out by resigning. He should've been fired when Levy came on board. Firing his coordinators and keeping him on just didn't seem right, and created a kind of lame duck situation. I think the Bills will find someone who is at least Mularkey's equal, and possibly better. It'll be good for the new HC to start off on a new foot with new management though, an opportunity that Mularkey wouldn't have had. I think the moves are positive overall, because the status quo in any management area was something from which the Bills rightfully wanted to turn away. A fair point. I look at it more from the angle that Brady's the most powerful (best) Jedi (QB) in the galaxy (NFL), just like Mr. Skywalker. And Anakin/Vader was just so badass in Episode III that I wanted to make an avatar based on that theme, even if it doesn't make perfect sense.
  5. The Bills are hardly the only team in sports who cater to loyalty though. The majority do, I would say.
  6. Right here. In fact, in the week leading up to and the week following NFL week 9, I made roughly 65 posts on this board.
  7. I don't think he's ball washing me as much as he's reacting with incredulity (as many do) to AKC's abject absurdity.
  8. You should just ignore him, Holcomb. I should too, but I can't resist an argument that I can't lose. Consider the source, that's what I say. You'd be wise not to waste so much time and energy on someone who claims to "know the game," yet once asserted that QBs routinely throw 5 to 6 deep passes per game (the '04 leader threw less than 2 per game), and then used misread stat splits to support his false claim.
  9. Where? So far as I see, you haven't even provided a single one. I suggest you cease this libelous tirade against me.
  10. Aren't we all really visiting "other people's" websites? That is, those of us without high capacity host servers in our living rooms? What else should I weigh in on? Subjects with which I'm not familiar? I'm sure you'd all really appreciate me offering my opinion of Russ Grimm's potential as an OC, right? I have 1,700 some odd posts on this board. Either I'm talking about other stuff but my team, or you guys talk about the Patriots a lot. PPOR, please. AKC hasn't been able to produce any of these "inflammatory" remarks, and neither will you, I imagine. In fact, the only people who consistently, routinely post inflammatory messages on this board are you and AKC, towards me. Perhaps you should reflect on this matter so that you may discover the true nature of trollishness.
  11. Don't waste your time, Holcomb. AKC is interested in nothing more than endless ad hominem.
  12. Seattle New England Pittsburgh Chicago
  13. VY=Vince Young ML=Matt Leinart The obvious choice, though, would be Young, local as he is.
  14. Rumor is that Denver OC Gary Kubiak is all but hired as the Houston HC. This seems like a logical and good trade for both teams. Houston gets another RB to pair with Davis and makes room for hometown hero Young, and Miami gets the QB they need.
  15. Don't mind AKC. I've called him on his fabrications a number of times in the past, and as a result, I'm on his crap list. He and a couple others here are not terribly kind to me, but the rest (including yourself) are very welcoming. Thank you for that.
  16. It's wrong to express hope that my team wins another championship, and that one of the players on my team achieves a personal milestone reached only by one other? Uhhh...how? It has nothing whatsoever to do with the Buffalo Bills.
  17. I hardly ever bring up Brady or the Pats. I simply react others who are already talking about him and them. If you don't like all the Pats/Brady talk, take it up with those people. On that subject, I feel I share a bond with Bills fans. As someone who's experienced Bledsoe, I feel able to console those dealing with him. Nope, just speaking from experience and my observation of a collection of facts. And again, I see no specific instances of my past derision of the Bills. Can I conclude that was yet another fabrication on your part?
  18. The aim of my name was never to deride, but rather to provide a laugh for my aforementioned Bills fan buddy. Thus, it stays.
  19. Specific instances, please. I know I post about my team and QB a lot, but I seldom deride the Bills. Specific instances.
  20. Yes, it was quite clever and well done. Later in the article, though, when the writer insults the Patriots players' intelligence - I found that to be a bit distasteful. Especially considering that they draft a proportionately high number of college graduates.
  21. By all means, post some of this "negative, derogatory garbage". Because I hardly think I should be derided for defending my own team's players from what I feel is undeserved criticism.
  22. ...and still have had more playoff success than most QBs in NFL history. And for future reference, it's "Marcia" Brady, as juvenile a putdown as that is.
  23. His posting habits are highly trollish, certainly.
