  1. One of the owners of RiverWorks is the big "driver" behind this complex and it's already fully funded...

Riverworks is fantastic, guys at the General Mills plant will have to fight some traffic to get to work.  Who would have thought that area would ever develop into this?

It will feature a long driving range with 72 stacked hitting bays on a four-story structure, topped by a six-story hotel with at least 120 rooms, a sports bar and restaurant, and meeting space. The range, with 11 bright-red target greens, will be enclosed by a giant wall of fabric and netting to keep the balls inside, and to shield golfers from the elements.

Meanwhile, OnCore Buffalo officials are considering a range of other sports and entertainment ideas for the rest of the land, including year-round indoor surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding, as well as additional bays for simulated baseball, basketball, hockey and archery competitions.

That's my bad I am thinking about the awful loss in Cinci in 2017.........they left one on the table against a bad Cinci team.

No worries, damn they play the Bengals a lot!  In 2017, they were 3-1 going into that game.  Could have totally eliminated all the Dalton love as it might not have been needed.

But bottom line, to hell with the Bengals...

    GO BILLS!

    Hello no.

No love for Donkey Dalton either...........people forget the Bengals coming into Buffalo in 2015 and shredding the Bills defense...........that was not a good 3 hours.   Neither was the disgusting defeat in Cinci in 2016.    Both games might have cost the Bills a playoff trip those years.  Screw the Bungles.

All the donations made were great and such but the fawning over that guy for unintentionally helping the Bills qualify for a frickin' WC game with a lucky TD pass was kinda' embarrassing and speaks to how low the expectations became here under Ralph and the Rex portion of The Pegs ownership.

Totally agree with the highlighted parts.

    The rest is a reach.

2015 - Yes, Dalton shredded them, but they still needed a couple more wins to qualify for the playoffs.

2016 the Bills beat the Bengals 16-12.

As for embarrassing, that couldn't be farther from the truth.  You really are in the minority on this one.

But overall, screw Cincinnati!  Never have and never will root for them (consistently ;))

    https://buffalonews.com/2019/09/16/bettor-wins-nearly-100000-on-bills-wager/

One bettor who was confident of a Buffalo Bills victory Sunday against the New York Giants walked away with a nice profit of nearly $100,000.

PointsBet Sportsbook confirmed it accepted a $130,000 bet on the Bills money line at minus-131. That means you had to bet $131 to win $100 on the Bills.

So, betting $130,000 would give you approximately a $100,000 profit. For the math sticklers, the bettor cashes a ticket for $229,190 so if you subtract the original $130,000, the bettor nets $99,190.

The Bills have opened as a six-point favorite for next Sunday's home opener against the Cincinnati Bengals at New Era Field.

My favorite listen is Joe Marino's Locked On Bills Podcast. You can tell how much he puts into each episode, he isn't a homer, and he covers all aspects of the team.

Second place? www.numbbillsfan.com. Dave is unorthodox and hilarious, and when he really gets going, he throws out some gems!

Another unorthodox Bills podcast would be The Rockpile Report...Drew gets going as well...

My buddy had one built excellent quality. Cheap and delivered and place where he wanted it.

This is why I am looking to go the Amish route.  Also I am looking to add some features not found on a standard build.  But it doesn't have to be Amish built if the price is right.

Thanks for the suggestions to this point!

  7. I am looking to get a custom shed built and checked out a couple places in Clarence, but they are completed Amish built sheds they're reselling.  I am looking to have it built from scratch.

Does anyone have any experience working with the Amish in the Amherst and/or surrounding area?

Making the playoffs a couple years ago was cool, but I don't think anyone would argue that it really lifted the dark cloud over this franchise. Our journey back to respectability/true competitiveness continues.

But I think this might be the year that a page is turned, emphatically.

I've watched an unhealthy amount of preseason football this year. And it seems like the Bills might be really good. Top to bottom. And they've got star players to make impact plays at every level of the field on offense and defense.

    Something feels different now.

Other than the Patriots, I can't think of an opponent I fear. And the only reason I fear them is not because of talent; it's because they're smarter than everyone else.

I think we're going 12-4 this year. We'll be good out of the gate. The future will arrive suddenly, as it often does when teams turn the corner. Within a month or two of the season starting, the Bills being a top team will just be accepted. I don't think there'll be any sweating out a playoff spot.

    Go Bills!

Yessir! Just started Season 2 last night. Psychology, and criminal psychology in particular is something that's always been fascinating to me. A part of me wishes I had tried to get into that line of work. Probably more interesting than what I do now but my field definitely has its perks.

Me too.   Watched the first episode looking forward to the next one tonight.  Probably should have watched the end of season 1 though, took me a while to remember how everything ended.

I have always wondered why Buffalo loves the Blue Collar identity and their love of beers like Blue and Genny? There is far better beers out there then either of them. Give me Ellicottville or Saranac over either.

I always wonder why people assume Buffalo loves the Blue Collar identity and love Genny and Blue.  It's stated over and over on TV or newspapers, but is it really true?

  11. Again this money did not come from Rob's wallet directly,  it's from he and his brothers foundation.  I am sure Rob plays a huge role in fundraising events such as golf outings and dinners to raise money for the foundation. But they could have very well said it was donated by Gordie Gronkowski Jr, he is an equal partner in the foundation, but obviously Rob name is the key to it's success.

I am not belittling the donation, I think it's great that they are donating to the area.  It's just misleading that it's from Rob alone.  So, thank you to all the Gronk brothers.

And the title was pulled from another article, i believe the OP wanted to put that in there to get it going quickly.  Which it did, well done!

I’m not saying he didn’t do a good thing, but I’m similarly befuddled by how many are ready to anoint him King of the Benevolent Dummies for this.

If this was truly about doing good and not about PR, he would’ve made that gift anonymously.

Pretty sure since it is from the Gronk Nation Foundation, it cannot be anonymous.

    To the original question:

Yes, some would as human nature will cover all outcomes.

Most would be adults and not do so.

The media would cover the vocal few and paint all Bills fans with the same brush.

    It's idiotic comments like this:

Sadly, Bills fans cheered when one or our QBs got injured.  Embarrassing.

    That prove that point...
