Not JP LOSTMAN, LOSSMAN, etc...
BTW, it looks like JP LOSTMAN isn't doing much in Seattle. Perhaps he will be cut?
-
My first post on these forums is to tell you I was foolish enough to put a few bucks on the Bills winning by 8 points over the Colts. Also on that ticket are the Rays over the Athletics by 2 runs, and the Arrrrrgooooos over the Tigercats by 8 points.
Anyone else getting some action? I was -this- close to pulling the trigger on the Pats game too.
Go Bills!
I hope its not a-lot of money....lol!
-
Ugh, This team has become such a joke. It's utterly ridiculous to root for this team, when they hire 70 year old GMs and retreads as a HC no one wants. This is gonna be an ugly season. They got no OL or QB. 0-16 might very well happen.
LOL dude....why are you here then? Go route for the Saints or some other "good" team. Damn fair weather fans....
-
I'm not sure if they even have challenges in the preseason.
Its a preseason game....you want to prolong the game by doing challenges? Its meaningless..............
-
I have zero expectations for this season. I'd rather see Levi get reps to determine if he could be our QB of the future rather than to waste anymore time with this Edwards. I can't remember ever seeing a bigger sissy than this guy and I can't wait until we rid ourselves of this jerk.
It was one pre-season game, don't get your panties in a bunch. The staring offense had a good drive until the (questionable) holding penalty. Lynch and Jackson went down - that was the game plan according to Gailey. Several starters didn't even play.
If they play like that the 4th pre-season game then its time to worry.........
I'm more concerned about the number of injuries yet again........
-
You want positives i will give you positives.
-Run blocking is pretty good. All RB's made plays.
-Pass protection looked ok with 3 starters out.
-Lee and Steve Johnson both looked good against decent corners.
-Decent QB pressure. Maybin even got involved.
-Chris Ellis looked good. He should start if you ask me.
Negatives
-INT obviously. Trent needs to throw that away. Lee needs to step into it.
-Maybin's penatly kept a drive alive. Weak call if you ask me.
-Pass defense is suspect. To much open over the middle.
-Cut Reggie Corner he's terrible. Please put in youboty.
Did anyone see a pass rush? I'm not counting when they got a sack during scrub play. The holding penalty on the first drive was killer too.

I know it's a stretch, but wouldn't it be ironic if he turns into the franchise QB everyone has been praying for? He was very profficient at Troy state, has very good athletic ability. I was impressed by the stat of 265 passes attempted with out an INT., 62% completion rate and a very good TD/INT ratio. Has a 7th rd QB ever become an NFL starter? Kurt Warner was an undrafted free agent. Tom Brady a 6th round draft choice. Miracles do happen. Maybe he will shine tonight.
Go Bills!
He's already way better than Hamdan ever was, but is he Tom Brady? Nobody knows that....
He looked very impressive leading the first offense to a TD during a 2 minute drill in camp the other day....We'll see how he does tonight.

If Jauron was still here, Hardy would be the #2 WR.
If Jauron was here he would bring Peerless Price out of retirement for his third stint as the Bills number 2 WR.
-
The Saints looked at Justin Fargas and Jamal Lewis this offseason, but decided that third-year undrafted player Lynell Hamilton was a better candidate for their No. 3 running back role.
The team has to go back to the drawing board after Hamilton suffered a serious injury during the team's joint practice with the Saints.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the team fears Hamilton suffered a torn ACL, which would knock him out for the season. Saints coach Sean Payton didn't sound too positive about the injury, but said that the team would wait for test results.

Lynch is available....oh yea - they said they wanted a power runner not a thug who runs from the cops.

And Maybin and Wood are good friends who were laughing about it later in the night. It was another day in a physical camp. The only place it was a big deal was on message boards.
I didnt' think it was a big deal, I thought it was friggin hiliarious.
-
Seriously, how could you root for a pompous, a-hole like this? I want to be the first to call the guy a BUST!!! Screw a 2nd or 3rd season. I want him cut now!!!
Did you hear what Wood was overheard saying to him after he got in a scrap with Hangman the first day of camp?
Something like "Why don't you give back some of that money you haven't earned yet".
The O-line wasn't too happy about the cheap shot he gave Fred Jackson.
LOL!

I am not a fan of Spiller returning kicks or punts...just use him as a RB and leave it at that.
Agree....espically since this team has several options for kick and punt returners. Let spiller play RB and thats it.

Without looking at stats or excel spreadsheets that would show who was better mathematically, Reed was the better receiver. His catches over the middle, his ability to get open, and his run after the catch were up with (but not better than) Rice. Neither Kelly nor Thomas would have had the careers they did without Reed. Who can forget in the Cleveland playoff game, when he took a simple hook, made someone miss, and ran seventy plus yards for a touchdown. This is not to say that Carter should not be in but Reed should have been in before him.
I can see where the voters would not have wanted to put three Bills in last year, but it should have had no impact on this year for Andre.
Just think of the numbers Reed would have put up if he was out West or played in a dome....How many games were "non passing" games due to weather throughout his career.....
-
He wants to play for the Bills so he's looking for his release.
PTR
LOL!

Reports indicate that Brett Favre will NOT return to the Minnesota Vikings this year. Per Judd Zulgad and Jay Glazer.
I think I heard this somewhere before.....
News at the end of training camp- Favre set to return to Vikes
What a joke.
-
....and probably just about as many as other teams had, currently have, and/or will have.
THE WANG IS SOFT....sorry had to say it...He is going to be injury prone I'm afraid....
-
hey mark,
i think the Bills "announced" it a while back, with their plans to turn Kelsay into an OLB as well. Obviously, nothing is set in stone, but IIRC everything out of the new regime has always referred to Schobel as an OLB. not so much a fan conclusion as much as that's what we've been told.
This JACKASS needs to retire and disappear already. He isn't going to come back and play LINEBACKER for one season with the Bills.
-
I don't see how the Bills can stash him in the PS. They are going to cut one of the top three and have Brown as the emergency QB.
I have a feeling Fitz will be traded to a team looking for QB depth prior to season start....Would be kind of funny if he went back to Cinci with TO.
Brohm, Brown, Edwards will be the 3QB's.
-
Channel the Kelly years. Jimbo did better with Andre and McKeller, Reich did better with Beebe and Lofton. How did that happen?
I seem to recall Reich and Reed doing very well together, more so than Reich and Beebe.
Comeback game against Houston? I think Reed had 3 TD catches.......

Anyone with even half a clue knows Scotty didn't have a great leg...accurate but not all that strong. He pushed so hard to get enough distance on the kick, a 47 yarder on grass, that his normal accuracy suffered. Besides that, it's a 60-minute game and with all the missed tackles the defense had that day, the blame goes more there than anywhere
I agree, he wasn't entirely to blame for that loss. Even after all of the missed tackles and 3rd and longs given up, they were in position to win. He missed the biggest kick in Bills history. Kind of tough to put him in the "like" category. His weak leg in the winds at the Ralph was one of the few weaknesses of the 1990 team.
-
He did well for the Buffalo Bills, it wasn't his fault ole dick head coach cut O linemen and the OC just before the season started.
If he could catch 55 passes in that podunk offense the Bills fielded last season, just imagine what he could have done with a good scheme, OC and play calling.
He did his job and said all the right things in Buffalo... so yea, wish him well in Cincy.
The type of offense and playcalling has NOTHING to do with the receivers ability to CATCH THE BALL. He drops way too many when they are right in his gut.
He did it in SF, Philly, Dallas, and Buffalo. Cincy can have him.
-
but he won't report in 10 days...
FAVRE STATUS!
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ason-after-all/
WTF is he waiting for? Who cares already.

I don't know about you other Bills fans but after what T.O. had to put up with last year while working for our beloved Bills i'm pulling for the guy to have another typical T.O. year . He did everything he needed to do for us last year , he maintained his composure and brought some excitement to our team (it's just to bad his supporting staff didn't get the memo)
On all the sports networks there raking the guy over the coals saying he's to old - he's lost it & such, sure he drops some balls but i think he's matured and has come to realize it takes a team not just one person .
So what do you all think ?? Are you for him or against him in Cinci ??
HELL NO - the guy is an overpaid has-been that drops way too many passes in critical situations, and causes too many distractions. I don't care about the positive comments that "some" of his former teammates say about him. Another one year deal - hummmmmmm......He's finished.

He has 7 int's in his carreer so he can catch - Probably better than Robert Royal could. LOL!
