  1. McGahee actually showed up during the 1st Pats game this year. That helped take the defense's focus off of Moulds in which it allowed him to make more plays. But that is irrelevant. I think the only chance of Moulds staying is if a really impressive coach comes in. In that case, I can see him taking a significant contract bite. After all, he could take the contract bite, play his guts out next year with his last year on his contract, and rally for a better contract, whether in Buffalo or not.
  2. just announced on ESPN's Monday Night Football EDITED
  3. I went to this Philly board and searched "Reid" and looks like there is some anxiety with fans toward Andy Reid. http://www.igglephans.com/ Go there and search "reid".
  4. Coaches I wouldn't be happy with.... 1. Jim Fassel 2. Pete Carroll 3. Dom Capers 4. Marv Levy (He's better off the way he left) 5. Gary Kubiak (Shanahan calls the plays, so what does Kubiak do?) 6. Steve Mariucci (Inherited leftovers in San Fran, but a likeable guy)
  5. He didn't order one on the sidelines, he ordered it in the locker room and ate it an hour before he went out and played. There was a picture I saw once where he leaped entirely over a standing Alabama defensive back. His waist went over the guys head as he made the catch.

  7. What about Joe Thomas? He has a good proven track record.
  8. Receivers missing Moulds As Evans said of Moulds, "He makes it easier on all of us." "Just his presence on the field, defenses have to respect that," Reed added. "Not having Eric on the field was probably a burden off (the Patriots) because they didn't have to worry about making changes in their coverages to account for him." Moulds is scheduled to make his return this week. It sounds like his fellow wideouts are looking forward to having him back. "Eric's a great player and we need him," Reed said. "We're definitely a better team with him than without him."
  9. Kubiak's name came up in 2004 before Mularkey was hired. I thought he was more qualified. But a guy with head coaching experience is needed. Please no Pete Carroll.
  10. The sig was to help explain to the folks that hadn't been following the issue with Moulds outside of ESPN's horrible reporting on it, and then ran to the computer to harp on the stereotypical gimme gimme gimme pro athletes. Like a deer in headlights.
  11. "we try to put a good product on the field" - Donahoe 12/11/05
  12. Wear the bags with Moulds jersey. Or put a white wig on top of the bag EDIT: The guy below me took it a bit farther
  13. Those grape fantas are hard to come by sometimes
  14. You realize you are talking to the same Mularkey who lied about this ordeal and makes the poorest play calling decisions on the season? Please remember that Mularkey didn't suspend him. Wilson did.
  15. Where were all these misinformed people days ago?
  16. Yeah but it's over until the end of the season. If we get blown out Sunday, Mularkey is going to get hammered about this though.
  17. You can sense Wilson taking up for Moulds after the meeting, saying Moulds wouldn't be ready to go this week since he had been excused from practices. That's the way I thought he would handle it. He never does anything until the end of the season.
  18. Well respected around the league. If he came back, I'd bet Moulds would take a paycut. These guys supposedly worked alot during the 98 and 99 offseasons.
  19. Moulds is still a threatening receiver. Whether its deep or possesive, he's a threat. That's why the only way to stop him is always keep 2 guys on him and have another guy spying him. The offense has taken him out of the gameplan because he doesn't buy into their system. And we have all seen what the system is...
  20. Yeah screw Moulds, how dare he want to win!
  21. I really wish some of you guys would get Sirius radio. I hate hearing the talk shows on the NFL Radio people calling in and asking "How do you guys think the Saints are going to do this year?" That's a compliment to people on here btw
  22. "He's beaten us a lot of times," Belichick said. "He's had some of his biggest games in the last couple years against us. He had 125 against us last year and another 125 this year. . . . We've seen too much of him - from the back." - Bill Belichick 12/7/05 http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20051...?tbd1067149.asp
  23. Mortensen got the story wrong. Moulds never got into any fight.
