Yes, if McDermott was to ever voluntarily step down, but no, otherwise. McDermott's been a very good HC. He's not perfect, but seems to learn from past mistakes. He's only missed playoffs one season and the 17-yr playoff drought is not that distant of a memory yet to forget about.

Not sure if it was Diggs or another player, but I recall a guy actually removing mouth piece when approaching line scrimmage instead of not just using it at all - odd.

The part I recall him talking about how when he first bought the Redskins, he stated that RW talked with him more than a number of other owners did early on. Sounded like RW was more friendly with him than other owners were at the time.
Sounded like at the owners meetings the owner all kind of have unofficial assigned seating and Washington and Buffalo were near each other so that helped kindle their early chats.
Interesting. Thanks for that.

I recall when RW died, Snyder have very nice things to say about Ralph. He seemed to have spoken more than many other owners did at the time.
I found Snyder's remarks on Wilson - may not be everything he said, but this was captured ...
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of the great Ralph Wilson. All of us have lost a NFL legend whose passion for his team was inspiring. We will always be thankful for Ralph’s contributions to the development of the AFL and NFL.”
Daniel Snyder, Redskins owner

Credit due to Packer #90 Jarran Reed! He could have absolutely destroyed Allen on the TD to Diggs (and maybe even have gotten away with it given inconsistencies with roughing the passer calls, of late), but looks to have pulled up ...

Teams rarely share their draft boards or grades on players - not even after the draft. This concept would essentially make draft boards an open book. While the current system may be imperfect, this solution won't cut it.

It takes two people to complete a pass. Maybe his receivers sucked.
Correction - it takes 11 players, doing their job, to complete a pass.

In Gaelic football, it actually works the other way, 3 points below the crossbar (a goal) and 1 point (a point) above the crossbar. The goal posts are taken to extend upwards forever. They only use cameras to decide on whether a point is scored -- not goals.
Actually FGs would be more exciting if the NFL gave more points for lower field goals. That would increase the probability of a FG being blocked and require much more precision and touch from the kicker.
Good point!

Looks like the Bills released #93 Bryant today as per Bills' transaction page. Curious decision ...
https://www.buffalobills.com/team/transactions/
3rd on list ...
"Placed WR Jamison Crowder on the Injured Reserve list. Released DT Brandin Bryant."Perhaps they are hoping to get him back on PS, but he has to clear waivers, first?

The broadcasters always like to say how the Bills Mafia "travels" (and many do), but I think it is more just that Bills Mafia is everywhere. Many left the region due to economics, weather or whatever, but the love for the Bills never stops!

Bring back Punt, Pass & Kick competition. Why is a band now obligatory? At least find a good one.

I can envision the Dolphins getting an early jump on the Bills with the emotional carryover from Ravens game, but I don't see it lasting very long. Allen owns the Dolphins and will take care of business once again in Miami.

I wish him well - just not when/if Bills face Bucs in SB.

Yes, it does. #25 is Hassan Haskins - a rookie. He can't do that.

Something I just don't understand. Since Bills are on tomorrow night, decided to watch Giants today and once again, it's apparent that Daniel Jones is "unaware" and has a "weak" arm. Although not as necessary as Buffalo, the wind and weather in MetLife stadium calls for a QB with a strong arm. The decision making on Daniel Jone sport is terrible as well, hasn't improved since Duke. Lucky for them that interception was dropped or they would've lost. The guy is a weak link on that offence. Seems as if Daboll has that team disciplined and playing as a team but hard to buy that he won't try and get rid of Daniel Jones for an upgrade. Not surprised NY Giants tried hard to sign Mitch Trubisky.
Yes, I watched a portion of the Giants game, too. Jones is serviceable, but certainly is not a top-10 type of QB.

So long as the injury is not serious (e.g. player does not miss more than 1 or 2 games), the silver lining is that backups get much-needed real-game experience - which may pay big dividends down the road.

Why this assumption? A guy can't make a buck? He does quite a bit for charity, as it is, don't you think? In any event, your assumption is correct. As per link provided by \GoBillsInDallas/ ... "A PORTION OF EACH SALE BENEFITS JOHN R. OISHEI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF BUFFALO."
Week 11 Weather: Winter Storm Watch in place for this weekend, potential for major snowfall

If my memory is any good, seems like some of the most miserable weather games in past decades were 3 point losses to the likes of the Browns & Bengals - 6-to-3 or 16-13 type scores. Would like to see a strong Bills victory this weekend, but just get the W at least.
