Now, we've already taken it for granted we will be a playoff team.  There were no "we made it" threads after defeating the Dolphins.  Many are cryin' that things aren't perfect and have already forgotten what it was like to go 17 years w/o a playoff berth (and I've been guilty of that, too).  McDermott has now taken us to playoffs 4 of 5 seasons.  I think he's a keeper.  Enjoy this ride Bills fans and don't let it stop being fun!  Go Bills!!!

  2. I'm okay with Singletary going down there.  Yes, you'd hope the Bills' D could finish them off had Singletary scored, but so many things can happen.  Maybe Tua tosses a long ball and there's a PI call setting Miami up at the Bills' 1-yd line for an easy score or something stupid like that.  I think taking the clock down to mere seconds and putting Miami away with a FG was the right decision.  If you don't have to let the opponent touch the ball again, then don't!  Go Bills!!!

IDK ,I work outside 8 hours a day on most days and I don't need to wheel a heater around behind me. Granted, I'm not wearing tights, but I say Freeze the Fish!

Agree.  Buffalo should ditch the heaters for this game and make the Dolphins suffer.  The Bills have all week to get used the the cold and Miami does not.

    I agree.

I know a lot of fans think we have a home field advantage with the snow and cold but i’m not so sure. We are the not the 70’s Steelers. We are a passing offense that relies on crisp routes and clean fields.

Well said!  Miami's home field advantage is clearly greater than ours.  In McDaniel's press conference, he states that both teams will be in the "same environment" Saturday, but this was NOT true in Miami with Bills' bench feeling like 120 degrees while the Miami bench nicely shaded.  Bad weather is essentially an "equalizer" that takes many of Buffalo's advantages away.

To the OP, I am quite certain that “tells” as you have pointed out are prevalent on all teams and are noted by their opponents during film study etc, so what you are saying is an issue for all teams.

Maybe so, but the better-coached teams will have fewer tells.  The OP is spot-on.  These tells can change outcome of a game and MUST be addressed ... and RE-addressed throughout the season and not just during the bye week when teams self-evaluate.  Looking for these tells needs to be an ongoing process.  To the OP ... if your observations are accurate you should apply for a quality control position with the Bills - good stuff!

I once briefly met a guy at a conference years ago who boasted some inside knowledge of the Hoffa disappearance - guy was a bit of an oddball, so credibility was highly questionable, imo.  Anyhow, says Hoffa was incinerated in a crucible at some Ford plant in or around Detroit from which poured the molten steel later to be stamped into Ford bodies.  So, if you're still driving around in a '75 Ford (or perhaps '76 if the steel was for the new model year), you just might be driving around with a tiny bit of the essence of Jimmy Hoffa in the body of your vehicle.  Crazy story.

  7. Too bad Gilliam couldn't sustain block just a split-second longer so McKenzie could have added (edit) another TD 2-pt conversion Sunday against the Browns.  Gilliam looked well-positioned to take that guy out, but the defender just pushed past it and made a nice tackle on McKenzie at the pylon.

  8. I believe Josh is going to rebound and in a big way.  Yes, he's been in some kind of a funk past few weeks, but maybe it's also time for Dorsey to change-up his play selection & game-planning ... I don't know, but I'm not giving up on Allen by a long shot.  He has a pattern of improving after setbacks.  The guy has the expectations of the sports world on his shoulders, as well he should, but I think he'll bounce back and become more consistent.

Side note: Von, when you get a free moment, maybe you can stop over with the Sabres and explain the "don't blink" concept to them - I think maybe they need to hear it - thank you!
