  1. Want a good chuckle, check out harpers twitter account. "My thoughts and prayers about the canadian who died yesterday in new york" Response from 1000 nut jobs, "ya what about a prayer for the people in gaza? Resign now!!!"
  2. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2014/07/17/chris_matthews_reagan_knew_the_way_americans_felt_after_soviets_downed_a_plane_in_1983.html
  3. Are the North Koreans better off under Kim Jong Un? No I don't think people are better off under a dictator.
  4. So in one post, you want Palestinians to have equal rights, in another you want them to live under a dictatorship. Good luck chuck. The world will never change because of people who think like you.
  5. Lol @ you making any actual relevant points.
  6. See this is what bothers me about the pro-palestinians. They don't actually care about the vested interest of the palestinians but instead, making israel look bad. I'm pro-palestinian in the sense that i want all the effort into modernizing life for them. Education, reform and turning away from violence. There will always be israeli's who dream of taking control of all the territories and there will always be palestinians who want to drive the jews into the sea but they need to be marginalized.
  7. Sheldon wants you to ask before he tells you.
  8. I have. I don't agree with the right wing israeli extremists who don't want to compromise. I also think that the netanyahu government will milk the situation of hamas being in power to keep the status quo. So until the palestinians decide to legimitately renounce violence, israel will keep electing governments who are less willing to compromise.
  9. Umm? obviously when the occupying power leaves someone has to take their place?
  10. And where did i absolve any one of anything? I said the blockade was there once hamas was elected. I also called out the hypocracy of so called palestinian supporters who in reality, just don't like israel.
  11. God you're a !@#$ing moron,. Who are the groups of people who pledge solidarity with the Palestinians? Whose hearts bleed at every casualty but yet won't even open their homes to those they support? How are Palestinians treated in Jordan or Syria or Lebanon? My argument is for the most vocal who, like Democrats, pretend they care so they get pats on the back but when the going gets tough, they're suddenly out of the office.
  12. The circular argument. The blockade was put into place AFTER Hamas came into power by election. It was also put into place by Egypt on the Rafa end. Tell me why there aren't activists trying to open the border on the Egypt side? This is why the conflict will never end. Because it's like arguing with a chick who you cheated on because she cheated on you first.
  13. I've pretty much heard only about those 4 kids that died on the beach including on the front page at Haaretz but birddog only seems pro-Israeli coverage.
  14. +1

  16. Rizzoli, "Shortly after Kramer got hit by Garay, he came to me asking 'ref, is this the final?' I thought he was joking." Rizzoli, "So I asked him to repeat the question and he said 'I need to know if this is really the final'. I said yes." Rizzoli, "[Kramer] said 'thanks, that's important to know'. I informed Schweinsteiger and they replaced Kramer.
  17. What was the Palestinian reaction when Sharon went on the Temple Mount?
  18. They are stronger than ever because they found partners for peace (Jordan & Egypt). The peace process won't advance if the more hawkish Israeli politicians are proven right (by repeated attacks from Hamas). If violence was renounced (not just in statements but in reality), there would be more of a mandate to actually negotiate for peace. If not, why as an Israeli politician, would you fold?
  19. My name's not birddog.
  20. They should have added a scene where Jack snorts a mountain of blow before he went on a rampage. Oh, and add a grenade launcher to that machine gun.
  21. I do agree that the more bombs that are dropped, the more radicalized younger Gaza citizens become but how do you expect Israel to negotiate with a unity government that is completely opposite of each other. While Fatah has essentially renounced violence, Hamas hasn't. Like Tom said earlier in this thread, stop acting like an angry un coordinated mob and the Israelis will have less of a leg to stand on. The Israelis I know want peace but they want their safety first. The reason that very few Israelis actually get killed in the attacks is because every home in Israel has a built in bomb shelter and the Iron dome.
  22. Yes I heard you the first 50 times.
  23. Israeli's have Zero interest in symmetric warfare. Hamas is obviously not the solution to gaza's problem. Life in the wb is obviously better (though not optimal) see my point?
  24. So you absolve the palestinians from any blame because it's hamas. In the west bank i agree but in gaza, shouldn't the people who are tired with hamas and islamic jihad and all these extremist groups do something about it?
