  1. "Uh oh, first read isn't open. Now what am I suppos..." WHOMP
  2. This game would have been hilarious if it was played anywhere north of Tupelo yesterday. What would the wind have done to that pass? I don't trust a QB who needs perfect conditions to execute.
  3. I thought all posters were trash, or defects?
  4. GB #20 channeling his inner Jaquan.
  5. Tipped ball, they'll see that in film review. Changed the rotation. Catchable but not a flat out drop.
  6. That one's on you ARod.
  7. Ball was tipped after all. Explains the drop.
  8. God I Hate Miami
  9. "Watch Tua go through everything" Takes a step, holds the ball out for a lame play-action, immediately throws the ball to the spot. It's not even a first-read, really. The ball just goes there no matter what. You can have a Boston Dynamics model do the same thing.
  10. It's not hard at all to assess Tua, he does one thing well, only. Hits his drop and throws to a spot. If you take that away by disrupting the receivers or getting defenders to the spot first, he doesn't have the talent to improvise or perform off-script, off-platform.
  11. That is "tight coverage" i.e. not looking for ball, hands on receiver and runs through him before the ball arrives. Now he's where Dillon vultures me in fantasy.
  12. More like, why does McKenzie count as a wide receiver? Struck me during yesterday's game that unless he's specially schemed open or jet swept, I'm not sure he can he really line up as a straight-up X or Z and win from there (except against the Pats). He's pretty much a gadget.
  13. The Packers are using the Bills game plan of not jamming the WR's and letting Tua throw to his first read spots and this is what happens when you do that, as opposed to 2-for-15.
  14. Was hollerating at screen and in GDT about that one, I happened to be watching exactly that block on the play and was flubbergusted at a flag. That crew gave the appearance of being bumbling idiots but somehow it only went one way. I mean, pee wee refs don't let a guy on his knees extend the ball out and then give him that spot. Horrible.

  16. That might be one of the worst comps possible. Foster = all speed no hands. Hodgins catches everything. He was miscast with the Bills, he has actually kind of mutant short-area quickness but not long speed, he should have been developed as a big slot receiver, a big first down machine.
  17. I like Edmunds at Milano-bucks. RB's can always be had, note Blackshear from Bills' preseason has gone on to force himself into the Panthers committee. I think Beane perhaps demonstrates too much loyalty at times; witness this WR group. Poyer, Edmunds, they'll find a way to keep in all likelihood.
  18. He looked like that all preseason. His playing style is thrift shop Von. If Epenesa can be a speed or power guy, it's a decent mix at edge with Shaq as an edge setter type, AJE and Groot with a blend of anchor and rush, and Jonathan as a bendy guy with a real good first step.
  19. Bad is when I'm daydreaming of George Pickens in Davis' place.
  20. What a gun! This #14 has some serious arm strength!
  21. If he had better range he could have done the same to Cam Lewis vs Minnesota.
  22. See? Hamlin can defend the pass after all.
  23. Friendly fire from a Bear trying to maim Allen. Sorry bud, karma.
