For anyone here to blame #17 for the loss is in my opinion ; "out there". Amari Cooper has the speed of a cement truck. Didnt Beane and his scouts see that on 2024 game film? Golden Wheels Miller isnt his fault. He got injured and is forever toast. The ways the referees "steer" games is also noteworthy. I know the tricks as one uncle decades ago in the rockpile days was a Bills Chain Ganger and he showed us how they give and take with the chains. Now its happening on the field with absolute intensional spots by the referees. Especially that last play where one official marks the first down yet hes overuled by another further away? Anyone who cant see it really needs to look at film and watch as its quite obvious. Sometimes the Bills get hosed by the yard. But this is entertainment so the league can legally fix a game. At issue is dumb and dumber. Beane has whiffed on more draft choices along with his scouts. The trade with Kansas City in 2024 I must ask whether Beane is on the Chiefs payroll? As far as coach, hes a Rex Ryan clone. They both cant coach defense and never could as they road another mans legacy and took the glory. Sports Illistrated knows all about Mcdermott and whom really did the heavy lifting in Carolina as those great players on defense were drafted before he ever showed up. Andy Reid also saw it in Philly when he fired Mcdermott. Mcdermott is riding Josh Allen and if Allen wasnt here coach would have been fired back in 2019. I recall how fast he wanted Tyrod out of here for the next rising son; Nate Peterman. Huh? As far as spiritual, religion and God goes he also knows you coach. So tell us how many times have you been to the Super Bowl as it will be never at the helm of the Buffao Bills. God doesnt have your back. Just ask Kincade about that drop Waterglass Out!

Seems like alot of alternate information. Heres the scoop KMBC via CNN Newsource Jan 22, 2025 Updated 19 hrs ago KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMBC) -- Chiefs-Bills tickets are going fast for the AFC showdown this Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. "It's an exciting time. You know, everyone loves this time of year. We're very, you know, blessed to be able to get to do this again," said Jason Durbin, senior vice president of ticket operations at Tickets for Less. Tickets for the game are in high demand. "It's the biggest game, you know, always comes with a higher, you know, ticket price because of the magnitude of the game," said Durbin. The average price of Chiefs tickets on Tickets For Less is around $300. https://www.kake.com/home/tickets-selling-fast-for-sunday-s-chiefs-bills-afc-championship-game/article_c73ebc32-d909-11ef-97bb-dff728a6ad14.html -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
waterglass replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
For the hay of it I never listened to anther cities radio talk show on Audacity live but I did a first today. The show was on today; January 23, 2025 on 96.5 FM The Fan in Kansas City. Its on live right now as I write this. The feed doesnt have a time stamp on Youtube but between 11:30AM EST to 12:00 EST today 23Jan2025 they spoke about that Damar Hamlin had no business being nominated for NFL Comeback Player of the Year Nomination for the 2024-2025 season. Then they mock it. I had enough so I wrote this. I typlically dont even get my bunny ears up but like why is this even discussed by these two "professionals" on a Chiefs NFL radio talk show, enough is enough. In my opinion my anger isnt not being biased, its about two apparent pieces of human filth, ragging on a guy who almost died. Of all the things in the world of football they go there? They didnt even have to bring it up nor go there but they did. Chiefs Owner should be briefed as the Chiefs organization should be way above this but maybe not? Pure junk to the extreme by two "communications" graduates? My opinion. Heres the link to the video live feed link <Sorry, we're not supporting these jagoffs with links> -
Will He Reinvent Himself: Coach Sean McDermott
waterglass replied to waterglass's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wrote an article about McDermott is in need to reinvent himself with respect to who he is drafting via Beane on the D line so I looked at the size of his D line which has been losing playoff games in similar fashion since they played the Texans in January 4, 2020 in OT when Allen once again had them in the lead. Our D just could not stop them. It’s a recurring annually Bills feature. Even Nick Wright has a video about it. Then last week all Bills fans were lectured by some guy on radio named Mike Soap to say to use this historical comparison data is foolish. Sorry Soap as I am not NFL Woke nor am I in it for gambling. I didn’t count the 2018 playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. I compared his D line to Kansas City D line. KC comes in at an average of 6' 3 1/4" in height for the front four starters @ 277.25 pounds. The Bills front four starters are respectively 6' 4 1/4" @ 283.25 pounds So on average the Bills are larger. The numbers are skewed higher by one very large player on both teams but overall on average the Bills are larger. So if KC can do it why can’t we stop the run and get a consistent pass rush? [A] It appears that both teams play with similar gaps between the D linemen. [b] It appears that the Bills use the same D scheme as all other potential playoff teams. [c] What the Bills lack is at least one premier D lineman as the Chiefs have Chris Jones? So on the D line is it we need at least one D line beast aka Josh Allen to our Offense? Based on the size of other premier D linemen I would assume that a "Beast" would be a younger man at least 6' 6" and weigh 290 pounds. The Bills don’t have that person. This week I watched many very good NFL teams D lines were gashed by the running game. Exacty that same as the Bills. That includes Pittsburgh, Houston, Denver and a couple of NFC teams who also lost. They all play the same D. So is it time that NFL D lines went to a tighter D line spread to tighten the gaps between the D lineman to plug the interior of the line and force runs to the outside to use linebackers as a stop gap measure against the run like it was back in the day? Times change with the physical attributes of the players. So is it time for a change in D line philosophy? So could McDermott become a crusader among NFL head coaches?. Possibly he will have a Divine intervention moment? I hope so but wont hold my breath. So for your entertainment I attached this article as Bill Belichick aka Mr. Defense who makes a statement. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/nfl/news/bill-belichick-makes-grim-prediction-for-buffalo-bills-over-poor-defense/articleshow/116717042.cms -
Will He Reinvent Himself: Coach Sean McDermott
waterglass replied to waterglass's topic in The Stadium Wall
You might want to work on comprehension as my point was he via Beane continually drafts undersize top draft picks for D Line. Dont put all on Beane as coach signs off and he has said publically numerous that he wants guys like that. -
Will He Reinvent Himself: Coach Sean McDermott
waterglass replied to waterglass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats correct as this guy is all about prayer but the guy upstairs IMO wants nothing to do with him as if he had his back he would go farther in the playoffs. Coach throws many under the bus as in the Special Teams Coordinator after 13 seconds and then Fraiser after Cincinatti playoff game. So hows the current Special Teams Coordinator. The guys a F up and should have been released last year. Coach also wanted Tyrod out of here faster than a speeding bullet for his miracle quarterback Nathan Peterman, another man of prayer. So solly he can talk the talk but the divine is not on his side. Coach needs to do a deep soul search and reinvent himself as he seems to have learned sheet after 7 years. -
I love what he has done but I dont love his Defensive coaching scheme as it doesnt blend with his defensive line players that he wanted and they drafted. In my opinion all are great people but for D lineman they are all undersized as in simply too small. Thats my opinion having watched pro ball for over 50 years. Yep, I am an old goat but I do see it. Have you ever played football either with or without pads and block or run into someone who is 6" taller and / or 50 pounds heavier than you? They dont even feel it as its like your a mosquito. Thats my feeling with Ed O and AJ Epo and some others and when they are up against guys with their big boy pants on, forget about it. Then there was yesterday against the Patriots. As in huh? The Patriots O line. Remember the 1st two defensive series against Detroit. I loved it. Moving forward coach needs to realize that thse guys are simply too small for the position they were drafted. Forget about quickness over brawn. It doesnt work in this case and proof is all over the league. Just look at the teams rosters by O line position and height and weight. Why did coach ever think like that because some guy by the name of Andy Reid fired coach McDermott as Eagles D Coordinator years ago. So did Andy see what we are seeing on the field today with the D line? Coach needs to do some deep soul searching if he evens gets that chance. He could go the way of Rex Ryan. Rex had it all as Jim Schwartz wanted to be his D Coordinator. Schwartz is a TOP D Coordinator IMO. Same as Mike Pettine. I loved watching their D back in the day. It was exciting. But Rex went with the family affair. Jeesh. Now our D is always on the D. Its always been that way ever since McDermott came here in 2017. So is his D style a bunch of smoke and mirrors just like Rex? I mean when it really counts as in the playoffs. His defensive backs saved him yesterday. Coach please reconsider and start drafting big boy D linemen. https://www.reddit.com/r/Patriots/comments/1hityme/we_already_know_the_oline_is_but_these_pff_grades/

OK, so explain the D line. None are injured. McDermott hand picked these undersize guys over the past several years and they really cant do much. Why, because they are small. I have no idea as to why McDermott thought their speed would overcome their size. That was the same exact mistake made with Singletary and Moss. Beane is also on board with that train of thought. These two guys from Carolina are either inept or delusional. Allen floats this entire team despite this entire team and that includes coach. At least Beane made one great draft pick as if Allen wasnt here neither Beane or Coach would be here either. Did anyone watch AJ Espo in that Rams game. They knew he was so slow they ran at him and didnt even try to block him and he whiffed twice on two separate plays. He was standing in air and the back just ran away from him. One was for a TD. Hes 6' 6" useless but it isnt his fault he isnt heavier. Same for Ed O. Coach is off the balance beam on his philosophy and I wish he would change. He righted the ship on the O line. AJ Espo is too slow for a linebacker and so is Ed O. To trade them is way far out of the question as I do not think other teams will go there. Plus remember Aaron Maybin. Same deal as these guys.

" the whiffs on the DL especially at DE are going to be the albatross" Did you see AJ Epenesa unblocked on two separate plays get blown by. They ran right by him! They drafted him for his quickness? I mean what the hell. Our scouts SUCK. The other team [Rams] knew that hes so useless they schemed plays to not even block him, ran right by him and he missed two tackles. Oliver is just too small. 40 is done as a result of injury and age. Plus we dont have a defensive coaching staff helping them. Run defense sucked ever since McDermott showed up here in 2017. Even with Kyle. IMO his gaps are too wide. How about Coach Smiley. I watched Bass on his kicks. He pulls/ pushes them to the right or left of the goal posts when the snaps are high from center which is almost every game now. Go look at the game tapes. Ferguson is done. When the snap is corrrect hes down the middle. Smiley is useless and just another yes man. Just like the local announcers on GR as one caller put it; chapstick arse kissers

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
waterglass replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw that too. Coach doesnt game plan. Personally I think hes lazy as I have no clue what they do in that stadium as its obviously not game planning because if they are they get slammed every 1st half this year. Allen also is fed up. I dont want a Cub Scout coaching this team. I am a man of God, I belivev in God and God doesnt seem to like McDermott. See big game results. The last two Defenses I loved to watch in Buffalo were Jim Schwarz and Mike Pettine. Best O game planning IMO was Chuck Knox and he was also skewered for not winning the big games. I like waht McDermott has doen but its time to move on. "Reminds me of how the Bills didnt adjust to Kelsey in the playoffs even though they knew it was coming... gotta take away their best reciever(s)" Exactly. What I hate is a guy who coaches like a loser and doesnt even try an adjustment. Its been ongoing for 7 years. WTF he did in 13 seconds he pulled that stunt again this year against Texans final drive. This guy doesnt learn squat and he lies to the public and Bills fans. about it. -
An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game

We continue to draft undersize D linema . -
When I watch coach Mcdermotts D its neither. Its 100% straight whiskey. I loved Coach Mike Pettine and Jim Schwartz defense. They were more fun to watch than the offense. But at the end of the day he got it right and won two Super Bowls. I dont see this coach doing that as he doesnt seem to change. Beyond stubborn?

Coach lost me at 13 seconds. I put up with his 2020 OT playoff loss after blowing a 16 point lead and he D allowing a winning score. Same goes for 2021 when he had an undersize running back against Kansas City. Plus the defense stunk. The 13 second game scheme in the final drive for a field goal was so bizzare I thought the game was fixed. Plus the defense stunk. Ever since he showed up in 2017 his Defense hasnt done enough in the playoffs. Plus its not going to get better. Not with him here. My opinion! So look at the Denver Broncos with John Elway back in the 1980's with coach Dan Reeves. Three Super Bowl losses so he was released. McDermott cant even compare to his accomplishments. The parallel is their quarterbacks. John Elway and Josh Allen. Denver management made a coaching change and it finally righted itself with coach Michael Shanahan. They won two Super Bowls with John Elway. I see a parallel here. I have great admiration for coach Dan Reeves. I do have some admiration for coach McDermott but its tainted by his scheme, play calling and philosophy. Hes at his peak as was Reeves albeit at a different level. Move on from McDermott and give Josh Allen and the people of Buffalo their due. Just like John Elway had with the Denver Broncos.

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
waterglass replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
So "Nakua is not that good and he looked like a hall of famer"? Are you kidding me. He has the 2nd most receptions in 25 games in the history of the NFL. Behind Odell Beckham Jr. Babich was hired as the fall guy so if and when this D fails, coach can blame him and keep his job for another year. He has a history of doing that. SEE: Leslie Fraiser This all is really simple as Coach has lost playoff games in the EXACT same way since his arrival here because of his defense, scheme and play calling. It goes all the way back to the Texans 2019 playoff game when Allen had them in the lead as McDermotts defense could NOT stop another late drive in the game. Heres a quote: "The #5 seed Bills attempted to win their first playoff game since 1995 in the wild-card round, but were defeated by the #4 seed Houston Texans 22–19 in overtime after giving up a 16–0 lead. The loss extended their playoff win drought to 25 years." Coach is enamoured with drafting undersize D lineman and it shows like in yesterdays game. Remember his smurfs comment on his running backs? Dont talk to me about D linemen quickness as he and Beane mention same as their quickness is neutralized and they get bowled over in the run game. Plus they cant pass rush. This is all on Mcdermott. 100% Same logic was used in drafting midget running backs as in Moss and Singletary. I mean are you kidding me! This collapse of the "blueprint" is an annual happening and has been in the making for several years as a result of who they drafted based on who they wanted. The entire league knows it. Just the Buffalo media remains silent on it until Brown went wild this morning! Yea for Brown! These guys [McDermott and Beane] are out of touch as its 2024 and its a big mans game. It has been since the 1990's. Its NOT the 1980's anymore. McDermott is so full of himself hes being disingenuous to his own players. A 258 pound D lineman cant move a 330 pound O lineman and thats our story across the entire D line. Number 40 is done as a result of his injury in Detroit and age. Its not his fault. Its his head coach. In 2025 I say bye bye to McDermott unless he at least makes it to the Super Bowl. Denver did a huge coaching change in the 1990's with the removal of coach Dan Reeves with coach Wade Phillips. They finally got it right with Mike Shanahan. Reeves lost 3 Super Bowls and Mike Shanahan won two with quarterback John Elway. McDermott hasent even been close and he screwed up the 13 seconds game. Allen is like John Elway. Move on this year from McDermott. History DOES repeat itself! -
I responed to RkFast via PM but the bar on route 6 may have closed or moved. We live in Chapin on Lake Murray since June 2017. There is a great Sport Bar in Greenwood, South Carolina. Its called the Buffalo Grill on 327 Main Sreet and is owned by a former WNY resident. Issue is its over one hour away near Lander University. The Midlands Bills Backers [Columbia, Lexington, Irmo] seem to only have a Facebook Link. Find it and you will find the location. The Sports Bar in Irmo on route 6 was excellent. IMO the issue is here in the South they all want everything sweet and they hate blue cheese. If I owned Rooties Blue Cheese I would relabel it as a "Southern Blend"as it already is sweet and is tangy. They would love it. It is being sold in Raleigh, NC Wegmans. Same goes for Buffalo NY hot dogs. Too bland and not sweet as even the unsweetened tea here is sweet. However, they do sell Sahlens in Publix. In the South they love beef hot dogs. We have been in the rural South since 2014. Started in West Atlanta now in South Carolina. I also hate straight blue cheese with my wings. Too harsh. I love Rooties. We buy Lighthouse Blue Chess Dressing here. Its just OK. So, if you disagree with the above they also dont like their veggies. For proof just walk down any supermarket frozen veggie aisle. Aside from potatoes~ aka ~ French Fries they wont touch veggies, unless deep fried with sugar.
