It wasn't me! It might be worth pointing out that rape in Sweden does not need to constitue penetration with the penis. The rapist in this case briefly penetrated the victim with his finger. So the reporting on this is not very honest (leaving out important details from the actual ruling). However I still think they got it wrong. If the court says it is a rape I have a hard time understanding they don't find it serious enough for deportation. Not sure what this has to do with fascism? Are free and independent courts bad?

I have a hard time understanding the bail system, especially with violent/sexual crimes. It is idiotic letting (probable) violent offenders back to the streets in exchange for money while awaiting trial. If they are dangerous they need to be behind bars in jail. I can understand using a bail system with crimes like tax fraud etc. that take a long time to investigate and where there is little risk of the suspect "ruining" the investigation if not in jail. But for rape, murder etc? Idiotic. (We actually agree on something? Feels a bit scary.)
