  1. faculty lounges? pretty clear you were disparaging some of your Charlottesville neighbors. Where does that contempt come from? own up to who you are ideologically. It's very clear despite your refusal to debate the most disturbing topics.
  2. oh, you mean university elites who have been responsible for the foundation of most major discoveries and advancements in modern history? Yeah, who needs them. But the Jan 6 scum, you're not interested in discussing. It's your go to play. It's kind of barbaric in debate terms.. I think we can reasonably conclude that you would have been ok with the 2020 election being overturned that day. A real patriot...to hell with the rule of law.
  3. 9/11 was horrible, no denying it. But in regards to our country, 1/6 was worse. We are watching the disintegration of a great nation at the hands of barbarians. This was a flash point. History has seen this play before in Rome...now care to opine on the contention that the whole thing was staged? That doesn't offend your sensibilities? partisan indeed...
  4. sure. when pressed, quit. cuz there is no evidence. What was the goal of "staging" Jan 6?
  5. evidence of above? The capitol police were in on the ruse? I guess you need to tell yourself something like that to rationalize support of your cult leader. He's not going to save anyone, least of all the working class. That's what's sad. 3 years for treason? I guess I'm relatively happy that you're a fake doctor and not a judge.
  6. I don't see many liberal apologists for violent individuals involved. I'm certainly not one. A great many involved were convicted and arrested. No one is talking about pardoning them unlike the Jan 6 scum...Jan 6 was worse than 9/11. It was an attack from within. Same type of people who are buying flamethrowers and AR/AK's.
  7. So the flamethrowers are to be used on immigrants? Or law enforcement doing a job you disagree with? Are sales of semi automatic guns down since trump won? What are you preparing for? Inter militia wars?
  8. so why would their be demand for flamethrowers from readers of a far R site? leopards don't change their spots. The fact that the majority of voters chose to ignore outright treason is not something to celebrate. It bodes poorly for our future.
  9. you proved my point. show on the doll where mean law enforcement hurt you. losers often have a persecution syndrome. just wait til most of the promises maga made you aren't kept. then you'll have reason to own a flamethrower...
  10. I'm more interested in the pulse fire, underbarrel flamethrower. It's amusing in a sick kind of way. Violent anarchists only need subscribe. Weird. Why so angry?
  11. For once, I agree with MTG and this drone expert quoted in the article. Of course the gov't knows what they are. https://www.newsweek.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-says-government-control-new-jersey-drones-2001005 Newsweek previously spoke to drone expert Vijay Kumar, a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He was skeptical of rumors that the drones were being sent by a foreign state actor, and suggested the evidence pointed toward it being a U.S. government operation.
  12. They clearly know what these are. Why not let the country know too? I can't think of a reason that's good.
  13. Krugman's latest NYT column. I think he nails it https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/09/opinion/elites-euro-social-media.html?unlocked_article_code=1.gU4.3jHh.DpQbOQmvcOva&smid=re-share that while resentment can put bad people in power, in the long run it can’t keep them there. At some point the public will realize that most politicians railing against elites actually are elites in every sense that matters and start to hold them accountable for their failure to deliver on their promises. And at that point the public may be willing to listen to people who don’t try to argue from authority, don’t make false promises, but do try to tell the truth as best they can.
  14. deep fried samosas make for a smelly garage. They were worth it. S fla is full of sexual degenerates. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  15. Your absence of an answer makes me choose abstinence as the most likely answer. No swinging. No salsa. One goes to the Villages in Fl;a for that stuff. It's a conservative bastion with a high incidence of STD's. We did have chutney though. It keeps well.
  16. are you a fan of condoms? What's your preferred method of contraception?
  17. Any details on this? Or is this standard “progressive” pearl clutching? There have been statements worrisome for limitations on birth control. in his first term he made3 it optional for employers to provide insurance coverage for contraception. The quote from Justice Thomas at the end of this piece is particularly concerning. If the gov't, even on a state level enact restriction, they restrict couples freedom in the bedroom re contraception. Who wants to use condoms? Why should the gov't determine what is the allowed method(s). https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Wellness/trump-birth-control-contraception/story?id=115612508 When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, a solo concurring opinion by Justice Clarence Thomas included a line on birth control. In his opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the court "should reconsider" Griswold v. Connecticut, the Supreme Court ruling that invalidated a Connecticut law that made it illegal to use birth control devices or to advise about their use. "We have a duty to 'correct the error' established in those precedents," Thomas wrote, citing the Griswold ruling among others.
  18. They're going into people bedrooms and their doctors exam rooms so why not the living room? it's what authoritarians do. all there were well dressed and solid capitalists. there was even a banker. no one wore red.
  19. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-s-intelligence-chief-pick-tulsi-gabbard-says-she-s-in-full-support-with-him-on-syria/vi-AA1vz4NN
  20. Yes, this game was lost by the D line, not coaching. the coaches need to find a way to overcome their weakness. it might not be possible.
  21. it should be note that the Rams offense was clicking. Stafford was right on. Still, the run D is worrisome just as it was after the Ravens loss.
  22. Marcia actually made the point several times today: the rams offense was playing on their terms, dictating the game.
  23. Rams were better today. That's the concern.
