not even in the top 10. You magas just make shite up and pretend it's fact. Just like your orange lying leader. https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/inflation/historical-inflation-rates/#google_vignette yup. This played a big role. We are still a cultural backwater except in a few places. -

It's sad but I think I get it. It's the economy. Spending time with younger family who voted D but explained wages versus inflation to me. They're fine but have friends who aren't. Thing is, the people hoping this election will better their fortunes were terribly mislead. Tariffs will hurt them most. Tax breaks will help them least. At least we're not in civil war. Agreement around the table that was more likely with a D win. Thankful for that. Happy Thanksgiving! -
Nope. This is why we lost. The gospel of Bernie but prophets are often ridiculed https://www.alternet.org/corporate-greed/ GM says it has no choice. It must cut costs. This is what we hear again and again from corporate America. We’ll be hearing even more of this as Artificial Intelligence takes over white-collar as well as blue-collar jobs. No choice? GM is on track for making record profits this year, surpassing its 2022 record profit of $14.5 billion. In the third quarter of 2024 alone, GM made $3.4 billion. That’s a $200 million increase from the same period last year. GM CEO Mary Barra’s compensation for 2024 is $27.8 million. This includes a base salary of $2.1 million, stock awards of $14.6 million, stock option awards valued at $4.9 million, an “incentive plan” compensation (as if she needed more incentive) of $5.3 million, other payment of $997,392, and perks (personal travel, security, financial counseling, company vehicles, and an executive health plan) valued at $389,005.

For some reason, I'm not overly excited about discussing politics right now. But here's a nice song. Note the band name

splain. You like a MAGA deep state but not one supposedly overseen by D's? Link some evidence of CIA operatives starting the Ukraine war. -
Gaetz was a trial balloon. He gets through, trump establishes absolute control over the legislature. He doesn't get through, the "MSM" can be blamed. It's actually brilliant. And it doesn't really matter to trump who is over the agencies. Anyone appointed will be his yes man and do his bidding without resistance.

look what up? you're just saying this war was started by the US to feed the "deep state". it's incumbent on you to prove this outrageous claim. btw, the "deep state" is being assembled now with moronic, unqualified figureheads ostensibly running huge government agencies. -

sure comrade. he doesn't have any interest in seizing Ukraine. Who invaded Ukraine? If putin left now, the war is over. and you call dems commies... -

the whole world is at risk because of his buddy, Putin. Oh, and Netanyahu. How do you think trump ends the war in Ukraine quickly? He capitulates to Putin putting Europe and NATO at great risk. yes, I pray. But I don't believe in predestination. Many MAGAs do but probably don't understand the significance or implications. -

yet, that would be God's will if it happened, wouldn't it? Praying likely wouldn't change that decision. -
Medical question for the Drs- Covid + Dementia
Joe Ferguson forever replied to NewEra's topic in Off the Wall
infections of any type often cause mental status changes in the elderly. while there is no way to know for certain, acute changes like this often clear or return to baseline after the infection has cleared. -
Is this the best team in the Allen era?
Joe Ferguson forever replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. This team has karma. Every player thinks he can help them win and morale and cohesiveness are excellent. SB year. -
Firstly, I'm still a doctor. That can never be taken away. Even have an active license but don't plan on going back to work. The fact that you recognize special insight is encouraging. I wish more people respected the expertise of scientists and physicians at that time but there was an active anti science campaign nationally, especially among MAGAs. They didn't want our help until they got sick. Then they demanded it and we provided it. There were times where all ICU beds were full in my area. No ventilators left. And many people died. Had the vaccine been universally administered, we would have never reached that point.

I was still in practice during the height of covid. The overwhelming majority of ICU covid patients and deaths from covid were unvaxed. nazism was in style in the 30's and 40's. it was tragic. what is in style can be catastrophic. Millions of lives were saved by the vax https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/covid-19/report-covid-19-vaccines-saved-us-115-trillion-3-million-lives https://www.commonwealthfund.org/blog/2022/two-years-covid-vaccines-prevented-millions-deaths-hospitalizations
