This is your week to entertain us. Where are you? Please come back.
-
This thread has taken some serious off course directions.

I would not be shocked to see Deonte Thompson replace Zay Jones in the starting line-up against Oakland. In fact, I think they should. Jordan Matthews, Deonte Thompson, and Andre Holmes is at least a competent trio.
They need to protect Zay a little bit better, or they're going to wreck the poor kid. Zay needs to be able to watch from the sidelines more and adjust to the game.
Or maybe the need to move Zay to the slot which is his natural position?

Sounds promising - rose colored glasses off - talk is cheap
-
Can he play fullback?
-
This site just has an unhealthy hate for Dareus. Because he isn't jj watt
He has been playing hurt and we still need him if we are going to make some noise.
I stand by him and all Bills players
THIS - Give him a break. Yes he has been hurt a lot but please quit judging his desire with the bad wheel.
-
Flush it - It's a new day and year (and process).

So do we need a thumb strength and conditioning coach? I don't believe I have ever seen this many thumb injuries in one week. What is up with that?
-
I thought so, too. He looked better than I'd ever seen him. Even his interception wasn't a bad throw - reasonably accurate, and he gave his receiver a good chance to make a play on the ball.
And as in the past, he totally missed the safety sitting right there ready to pick it off. It was so classic EJ and exactly what I had predicted!

Dareus is struggling to return from his ankle injury. It is also logical that his attitude could be hindering his ability (or desire) to heal. But a DT getting double teamed with a bad ankle is still providing value freeing up others, albeit on just a handful of plays. I find myself wanting to give the guy a chance to get back into football shape before final judgement. However, the continual rash of injuries may make that next to impossible to ever achieve.

If the Bills win by more than one score....everyone on here has to post nudes.
Be careful what you ask for. Lots of old folks on this board.

Shady had those 2 gorgeous RAC's , big time player making big time plays in the clutch. This team is different
I had memories of Thurman during those runs..............
-
We looked like the Patriots yesterday, methodical and in control with a clear plan. That score before the half may just have convinced me this is a different Bills team.
And when we hit that FG, Denver's coach was caught on camera saying the MF word............ LOL
-
Tolbert is used primarily for his pass blocking and when running can put a real hurt on the LBs/Safeties. This wears them down and enables the final drive yesterday. I joked with my boys yesterday that they should just run Tolbert straight at and into Miller over and over to slow him down. Clearly he never will be a take-it-to-the-house RB but his style punishes the defense.
-
Perhaps his hip is worse than reported....he didn't get many calls during the game for sure.

THIS!
-
1) Tackling was rock solid and multiple players right there every time! Players were wrapping up and not trying to deliver a shoulder death blow. I only recall 1 obvious missed tackle but there were 3 players right there to stop a large gain.
2) They did not find a way to lose in the 4th quarter. Instead they had 2 ints!
Different? Yes very!

If only Kouandjio hadn't lost his pants, the OL would be ok.
This is why young people should wear belts.
So true and to funny in many ways. Kudos my friend!
-
I did not know that.
But do you know why he wears his ring? When the Bills played in Dallas several years ago I had the great fortune to get seats 13 rows from the field at the 45. Before the game I met Fitz's family (my son was wearing a "throwing Fitz" tshirt). His dad told me he wore it because he was afraid to take it off for fear of forgetting where he put it..... no joke.
I did not know that.

But we hired back 3 of the 17. That equates to 14. Since this is a positive/optimistic thread, 14 = number of wins?
-
If the kid can carve out a role as a STer, no reason to think he can't make the roster.
The next Mark Pike?
-
Which ever 6 or 7 can tackle well.
-
It appears he can tackle and do it very well.
-
Garbage. I'd pay a monthly to maintain the level of discussion we have here.
SDS - pay no attention this...........
-
Or hard to get sacks when Rex puts 8 in coverage everyplay
This - one blitz that I noted yesterday and the play was a bust. WTH Rex/Rob/Thurman?? Said it before "decisions by committee are either wrong or to late". Who owns this defense Rex?
Spags, where youse at?
