HUH? The unknown. Driving with Lake affect all along 90 from Erie?  maybe getting stuck or stuck without a hotel etc

With the weather emergency being declared, it's possible I-90 gets closed at some point.

If a tornado develops inside the stadium during the game, is that better for us or the Steelers?

I’ve heard a few QB’s like Tom Brady and Alex Smith say “when there’s  snow, you throw”. because the receiver knows where he’s going, but the defender does not. This makes is harder to cut and recover for the DB.

Yes about the snow.  But wind is different - it pushes the ball some place that the QB doesn't want it to go.

Najee Harris didn’t practice with a knee injury. Do we know anything about that?

I think he's missed a practice a week for a little while.  I had Jaylen Warren on my fantasy team so I paid attention to Harris's status.  At the moment I assume this is just continuing the pattern.  If he misses Friday that would be a bigger deal.

Everyone keeps quoting me asking if Armstead is out. I was quoting this poster’s 2nd paragraph stating that their best “O-line” is out. I’m Assuming that’s Armstead

Terron Armstead does not have an injury designation for the game.  He was Full Practice on Friday.

Same for Liam Eichenberg (Center) and Robert Hunt (Guard) and Austin Jackson (OT)

Tyreek Hill was also a Full Practice on Friday, although he was seen in a boot on Thursday at his home when dealing with the aftermath of the fire there.

There doesn’t need to be a violation of league policy for him to be nursing an injury and it not being reported.

“A reportable injury is considered any injury that causes a player to miss a game, prevents them from finishing a game, or prevents them from completing their normal practice workload.“

There have been plenty of times when a guy plays all year and gets surgery a week after the season ends.  Then they mention it has been bothering him all year.  Kair Elam was not on injury reports before being put on IR - they said the ankle was bothering him all season, not that it just suddenly happened in his last game.

Sorry but no sure how any list that doesn't include Steve Spagnola is credible.

You can argue he's the main reason the Chiefs have been able to win 2 championships and are fielding a historically good defense in KC this year that is more than good enough to carry them to another and why I would give pause to the idea the Chiefs aren't going to make it far this year in the playoffs between their offensive struggles and having to go on the road for the first time in Mahomes career.

A true perfect match type of hire when the Chiefs made that move after 2018 season.

The list is basically the rating given by the players that are under that coordinator on a score of 1 to 10.  You don't rate other team's coordinators, only your own.  If you hate your coordinator you give him a low score.

Also, don't know how many players might have thought "my guy is #1 in my book" and chose the wrong answer.

They only show the top 5 among Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.  No Bills among this list.

    Top 5 Defensive Coordinators

    Aaron Glenn - Detroit Lions
Steve Wilks - San Francisco 49ers
    Dan Quinn - Dallas Cowboys
    Brian Flores - Minnesota Vikings
Raheem Morris - Los Angeles Rams

    Top 5 Offensive Coordinators

    Frank Smith - Miami Dolphins
    Thomas Brown - Carolina Panthers
    Brian Schottenheimer - Dallas Cowboys
    Brian Callahan - Cincinnati Bengals
Kellen Moore - Los Angeles Chargers

    Top 5 Special Teams Coordinators

    John Fassel - Dallas Cowboys
    Chris Tabor - Carolina Panthers
    Matt Daniels - Minnesota Vikings
    Dave Fipp - Detroit Lions
Darren Rizzi - New Orleans Saints

*The survey was administered online by Artemis Strategy Group during the NFLPA visits between August 28 and November 16, 2023. All NFL players were given the opportunity to take the survey. 864 offensive players rated their offensive coordinator, 774 defensive players rated their defensive coordinator and 1,025 who play on special teams rated their special teams coordinator.

With 53 players on the active roster for 32 teams, that would be a pool of 1,696 players.  I don't know if players on IR or practice squads were included

If Diggs is hurt the Bills are about to get severe punishment for not reporting it.

No they won't.  Injuries only need to be reported it it is likely to affect his availability for the game.  Diggs has not been Questionable for these games - he was certain to play.  Literally every starter in the league has some kind of painful issue at this point of the season.  I remember a few years ago that one of the Bills O-linemen had to have his wife feed him during the week because he couldn't lift his hand to his lips.  He was not on the injury report and he did not miss any games.

Pats are mostly worried about draft position if you read Boston papers.  They are desperate to lose and hope Commodores beat SF.  😃

I'm pretty sure Bill Bellichick is not thinking the same way.  For one thing he wants the record for wins.  For another thing if he's not the coach of the Pats next year, what does he care what position they are drafting from?

I think he's hurt and gutting it out  Bills are better off  not announcing it and teams will continue to give him extra attention and hopefully other guys make the best of the opportunities

I think he has a rib injury.  Any time he takes a hit he has to come off the field for a play or two.  That's not like him.

BUT , they didn't😅 go look back at all super bowl winners, they are littered with these type of wins. Did i like it🤕 not at all but onward they go.

I started following the Bills in 1967.  In 1968 they won only one game that year, over the NY Jets.  At the end of that season, Joe Namath guaranteed a Super Bowl victory and delivered.

  12. OJ Simpson would make good use of the crown - running wide then cutting back to the middle of the field.  The defenders were literally running down hill while trying to switch back to OJ.

Most fields did have a crown, but the one at Rich Stadium was unusually large.  The fact that the field is below ground level makes drainage even more challenging than it would be if at ground level.

Yup, not only that also I'd assume there isn't a whole lot to go off of from film since the new HC will do some things differently

There's only so much you can change in one week - we saw the same thing when Brady took over for Dorsey.  Our offense got a lot better, but the changes were subtle and took several games to fully take shape.  But I definitely assume he won't be making so many idiotic fourth down decisions as Staley did.

Still, they definitely do not have Justin Herbert, and a good chance they don't have Keenan Allen either, who has been all-world this year.  I would think it would be even less of a home game than usual for the Chargers - how many actual Chargers fans would have held on to their tickets after the Thursday night debacle.

Of course, past Bills teams have blown equally optimistic situations.  But this is this Bills team, not those Bills teams, so you can't really transfer that onto this squad.

This is consistent in the NFL, especially now with the fair catch rule on kickoffs.  You are likely better calling for a fair catch every time.

I don't  think you can do a fair catch once the ball hits the ground, and that kick was a squib.  They just wanted to get the ball our far enough so they could kneel it out comfortably.  It was the smart play.
