If he gets this job, he’s in a pretty safe situation. It’s an OC coordinator position but Stefanski is the one calling plays. In Buffalo he had to do everything. In Cleveland he’s be sharing a lot of duties with an offensive minded HC
And presumably learning a great deal. It’s like being Nathaniel Hackett working under Matt LaFleur or Bienemy working under Reid…- 2

Crazy that the season isn’t even over yet and we have already started hyping up WR trash that will amount to nothing. Brandon Reilly, Andy Isabella, Duke Williams, another name joins the list every year.
You don’t understand what a futures contract is.Just in the last 2 years the following Bills were signed to such contracts:
OL Alec Anderson
DT Eli Ankou
DE Kingsley Jonathan
OL Ryan Van Demark
TE Quinton Morris
The idea is to fill out the bottom of the roster with developmental players.

Mike Garrett killed us in the '66 title game.
A great running back and one of the early stars who helped USC become known as "Tailback University."
OJ Simpson, Anthony Davis, Ricky Bell, Charles White, Marcus Allen, Reggie Bush, Lendale White and others would follow Garrett.

The bills being called wise when bringing back players with repeat concussions? Maybe with other injuries.
And maybe compared to other teams, the Bills are the most patient. But thats just saying they are slightly less evil than their counterparts. And wise? GTFOH.
At least see what the league AND THIS TEAM is with clear eyes.
Wise and patient relative to most other NFL teams, absolutely I stand by that.
I'm glad to hear that you believe you have "clear eyes."

Guy was fired after 12 games working with JOSH ALLEN. If he couldn’t succeed here, he won’t succeed there. Weird interview choice for the Browns.
11 minutes ago, JimBob2232 said:Disagree. He failed because he had Josh Allen and tried to protect him and not let him be Josh Allen. If he goes to a team without Josh Allen, chances are he has to work with what he has - and I think he can be quite good. Its a risk for any team, but I'd consider taking a chance if I was looking for an OC.
He got a bit of a raw deal here. we needed to change to get a spark. He was the sacrificial lamb to some extent. Much more so than the actual root cause of the problem.
In fairness to Dorsey, if you listen to all of McDermott's comments about Josh Allen through the entirety of last offseason, it's clear that Dorsey was doing what McDermott wanted... to have Josh run less. That's on McDermott.
Joe Brady has done 2 things that Dorsey couldn't that have had a huge difference:
1) He has convinced McDermott that Josh needs to run more.
2) He has gotten Josh back to the level of discipline that he had under Brian Daboll where he's not trying to throw a grand slam home run on every play. Daboll was pretty good at this whereas Dorsey failed to reign in Josh.
Repeating myself yet again but in 2020 Josh completed 69.2% of his passes and threw only 10 INTs. His INT % was 1.7%, the lowest of his career. This year Josh is at 3.1%, the highest since he was a rookie however he's been playing with more discipline lately in the passing game.
Josh will have to be nearly flawless for us to reach the summit.
BTW @JimBob2232, congratulations on getting the Indy job!

From a human perspective, this is this guys 5th concussion of his career and he can play in 6 days? Nobody in the NFL gives a shirt about player health or safety, and the independent neuro’s must be on the take.
2 minutes ago, CincyBillsFan said:I disagree. The Bills organization has repeatedly demonstrated that they are conservative when it comes to player safety. I have never felt like they rushed anyone back to soon.
Agree with CincyBIllsFan. The Bills under McBeane have demonstrated repeatedly their patience and wisdom in bringing players back slowly from injury.
I believe there are teams who would be dressing Terrell Bernard today but not the Bills.

Exactly correct. They don't want to see Tyler Matakevich playing LB in this game. Whether as a starter or a backup, Klein was gonna get the callup.

Honestly the hate for a coach who had the ghost of Kyle Orton and EJ...
And really hasn't had much in his entire career... Russell Wilson apologized for not giving it what he should
It's kind of asinine and shows how Petty some Bills fans are
The dude was a quarterback coach for Blake bortles when he threw four 4,000 yards and 35 touchdowns which would have been career records in Buffalo..
And everybody in the league keeps giving him jobs because he does know football
He just shouldn't be a head coach... He's a really good quarterbacks coach though but people act like he shouldn't be coaching JV
They hate on the website for him is like somebody who stole their girlfriend
I think you're overreacting.
I said Hackett was "the gift that keeps on giving" and that "I hope the Jets don't fire him."
Hackett has spent essentially 11 years as an NFL OC. He did a good job in one of those years. In my book he gets zero credit for his 3 years with Aaron Rodgers on account of Matt LaFleur being the real OC and the success LaFleur has continued to have post-Rodgers and post-Davante Adams. He gets as much credit for Aaron Rodgers as does Alex Van Pelt.
Hackett is a run of the mill coach who's ridden his father's coattails and a mediocrity as an OC.
You're right. He should be a QBs coach, not a coordinator.

Yes I could not believe what the parking attendant told me what the cost for parking would be at corner of SW and Abbott rd would be. Yes I understand that a property owner can charge what the market will tolerate but come on talk about screwing Bills fans.
Parking was at a premium with all of the snow but this business took it to bills fans.
Do we have corroboration here or is this hearsay?
Did anyone else pay $150?
Was anyone told that parking was $150?
I'm in a bit of a state of shock on this.

Well, Marrone did bring us Nate Hackett…….obviously…
Nathaniel Hackett is the gift that keeps on giving.
A friend of mine is a chef in NYC and Robert Saleh was having dinner with Arthur Smith in his restaurant the other night.
I was wondering if that meant that Hackett was in jeopardy... although it would really piss off Aaron Diva Rodgers if they fired Hackett.
From the standpoint of the Bills, I hope the Jets don't fire Hackett.

FWIW (admittedly not much) but Penn State has never produced a great NFL wide receiver.

While at Wyoming University, Josh preferred Buffalo style wings with a bleu cheese sauce, and the Wyoming state flag consists of a dark blue field (background) bordered by white and red; in the centre is the white silhouette of a bison (commonly called a buffalo) bearing the state seal. Talk about destiny. Am I the only one who didn't know this?

Bills sign WR K.J. Hamler to futures deal
in The Stadium Wall

Just like signing Quinton Morris to a futures contract prevented us from drafting Dalton Kincaid… got it.
