  1. When you have the league MVP and the best qb in the nfl, getting him weapons should be job #1 and the easiest job any GM has. Josh has proven he can make ***** that Beane gives him work but why make his life so hard? And it’s crazy people on here are defending it and hoping things will work out with the chargers 3rd string WR,a slow Coleman, and a bunch of other bums besides Shakir. Someone made a good point earlier that McDermott is going to screw up in big games anyways no matter what defensive players you give him. I agree. So just make the offense unstoppable. Not saying to not address the defense at all. I like some of the guys we drafted. But to ignore Josh is malpractice and honestly a fireable offense for Beane. Yes last year worked overall but you’re just going to run it back like nothing needs to be refreshed to keep teams guessing? WRs are a dime a dozen and we can’t find any good ones. DK is the correct answer. The Steelers have no qb to speak of and yet have a stacked Wr room as always.. plus a better defense than ours by mile if we’re being honest. You can do both, Beane can’t though. His job is SO MUCH EASIER than the Steelers GM job since he has Josh but he can’t get the job done.
  2. The draft isn’t the only way to get weapons. And it’s Beanes job to give his all world QB the weapons he need to get a ring. Beane has the best QB in the league and the MVP, his job is easier than the other 31 GMs in the NFL. He has no excuse to not have explosive weapons for him. We can’t keep asking Josh to perform miracles EVERY SINGLE YEAR. There are teams with 2nd and 3rd options better than our first. It’s inexcusable.
  3. Shakir is good too but yes you’re correct. Compared to all the good, playoff level teams, it’s embarrassing what beane has put around Josh in terms of weapons. Josh makes it work but he shouldn’t have to work so hard to get points on the board to keep us afloat.
  4. Minnesota WR room is so stacked with weapons. Jefferson, Addison, now Felton plus Hockenson. Imagine if Josh had anything near that in terms of weapons.
  5. Like this pick way more than the sanders pick
  6. Correct. A big drop off too
  7. I f’ing hate how good they are at drafting. They nail it every single year
  8. 100% correct. Nailed that pick and has been living off of it since then
  9. Only hating on the job that Beane has done giving Josh elite help and McDermott for his awful coaching mistakes
  10. D line in general. But not going to act like he’s done well at DT spot either
  11. I’m not surprised, he’s been burning premium picks on bad d line selections for years. He just can’t get out of his own way.
  12. He’s actually not wrong. Josh is keeping McDermott and Beane employed
  13. Maybe they should value them..? Instead they’re cool with getting run all over constantly. Beane is clueless.
  14. Traded up for a sub 300 pound DT. I absolutely despise beane and can’t wait for this regime to be over with. Excited we had 2 2nd rounders and we just lit them on fire.
  15. The luck we have man. Need DT and of course everyone drafts them this year. Insane
  16. It’s insane the bad luck this franchise has
  17. It’s much much worse than choked liver
  18. Sad that we’re also not going to get what we need and get a new coach. Instead Josh is going to stay tied to McDermott for his whole career.
  19. They have the best coach in football and Spags. It’s why they’re unbeatable when they’re locked in and trying
  20. Yep he was killing then on the ground all day
  21. Lions vs eagles is what we all deserved. This is like when a 15 seed upsets a 2 seed in the ncaa tournament and then it sucks having to watch the 15 seed play awful the following week.
  22. We all know how this ends. Hopefully Josh has something up his sleeve in overtime.
  23. Why the hell are you in shotgun on that 3rd down play?!
