  1. I'm not arguing it wasn't a hold by definition. Never tried to make that argument because yes, technically it is a hold, but so are a heck of a lot of other plays. I just don't agree they should've called it based on the severity of it, how they called the entire rest of the game, and the impact such a call would have on the game. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2023/2/13/23597435/holding-call-super-bowl-eagles-chiefs-james-bradberry
  2. I always had my eye on Rice and I think we could get him in the early second if we trade out. It's all a gamble and there's so many different scenarios. My main thing is I don't want to see them reach on a player we might have had later anyway.
  3. I didn't see where it affected JSS at all. The only slowdown I saw was when he was turning from running parallel to the sideline to turning it up field and that's when the pull you posted happened. The pull is in the direction JSS is trying to go so I don't see how that brief second of a pull changed anything.
  4. And plays like that happen literally all the time and are not called. I'm not going over this again with you. You have your thoughts; I have mine and you aren't going to be changing mine so you might as well stop trying. You're acting like I'm the only one that sees them.
  5. It's pretty slim pickings when you look at it. There's some good talent and it's plentiful, but would rise to what we've seen in past draft WR grades. That's why IMO, we either take one of the top OL first round projections if they're still on the board, we take Robinson if he's still there, or else we trade out of the first round to an early second round pick and pick up an additional pick in the process. We can then grab our WR there or at our normal spot at the end of the 2nd if we can swing that trade out of the first round.
  6. From a single snapshot in time it might look that way, but when you watch the video of it, the tug was insignificant. He didn't continue pulling him. It was a quick boom and done. Had he kept riding him and had a handful of jersey, sure, that's egregious and I don't even think Philly fans could argue it then, but watch the actual play in full speed and tell me if you think what he did actually impeded the receiver from getting to where the ball was going. I just don't see it and I've watched it at least 10 times.
  7. Where did I attack you? You're reading things that aren't there in order to try and justify your calling people bitter without knowing anything about them or which team they supported, which in this case, it was neither. That call most certainly did decide the Super Bowl. Rather than it being 4th down and the Chiefs kick a FG, then kicking off to Philly with time left and a timeout to either tie or possibly even take the lead, it gave KC a first down on a 3rd and 8 and allowed KC to run out the clock and kick the ball with basically no time left. This is a fact and it is indisputable.
  8. Great post. Great article here too. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2023/2/13/23597435/holding-call-super-bowl-eagles-chiefs-james-bradberry I didn't even care who won let's stop pretending to read minds here. A weak holding call decided the Super Bowl. I'm sorry you feel obliged to attack people and call them bitter because they're frustrated seeing referees inject themselves in the outcome of games.
  9. He's only played 8 seasons, so that's not a fair comparison or a plausible expectation of Diggs. Diggs has already exceeded the single season marks Reed achieved in catches, yards and touchdowns. And as far as Moulds goes...764 catches in 12 seasons. Diggs 703 catches in 8 seasons. That happens next season.
  10. 9 tackles (8 solo) and the TD on the Hurts' unforced error. Had he had an INT in there or another fumble recovery, maybe. But you know the thought of it going to anyone but Mahomes never once crossed their minds.
  11. Calling a consistent game is what's important. There's a country mile between missing calls and simply not flagging every little ticky tack foul and letting them play, especially when it's so inconsistent. How the refs are going to call the game is set very early on. If there are very few flags, even if you see clear instances where there could be one, then the refs are letting them play and it should remain that way unless there's an egregious call that really a no-brainer. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2023/2/13/23597435/holding-call-super-bowl-eagles-chiefs-james-bradberry
  12. So, you're perfectly fine with the inconstancy in officiating is what you're saying here.
  13. Reed has more career numbers, but I don't think it's really in question that Diggs is the better receiver in a head-to-head matchup. Reed never had a 100-ball season. Diggs has had 3 straight and 4 of the last 5. Reed had one 10 TD season. Diggs has had 2 straight. Diggs has had 2 seasons where he's passed Reed's high yardage mark for a single season. And done it all in a very short amount of time considering.
  14. Like I said, I don't bark at your command and I'm not scouring though game footage to satisfy your demands. So enjoy your "win" here since it's clear winning the argument is your only goal.
  15. Make our O-line look like either of the two we saw last night. That would go 75% of the way.
  16. Sorry, I don't bark on your command so go ahead and carry on with your day and have a good one.
  17. Oh, this is going be one of those conversations where you ask questions that nobody is disputing. Question...if they haven't called it all night and are letting them play, should they then throw a flag on a weak holding call that would decide the game?
  18. "Blatant hold"? LMAO, stop kidding yourself. You've seen much worse not called. And they weren't calling it all night. If they can overlook those, they should reamain consistent with how they're calling the game. DBs had their hands all over receivers all night downfield on both sides and how many calls did you see?
  19. When you're talking about a guy that has had over 100 catches in each of the last 3 seasons and four of the last 5, 250 more isn't far off at all, especially when one guy played 16 years and the other has played 8. Diggs only needs to average 83 catches over the next 3 years to pass Reed in 11 seasons.
  20. Feelings? LMAO Interesting way of describing me saying the refs need to decide if they're going to call a tight game or let them play and stick to it. It should be a situation where you're letting them play, and then with the outcome of the game in the balance, you're going to flag a weak holding call.
  21. And why shouldn't he have that expectation? They let it slide all night long, but decide to throw the flag when it literally decided the game. You either call a tight game from the opening kick, or you let them play. Pick one.
  22. At current pace, Diggs will pass Reed in catches in roughly the next 2 and 1/2 to 3 seasons. Reed played 16 years. Diggs just completed his 8th.
  23. That's your take here? Since nobody has made a video compilation yet it didn't happen? OK, great. Glad you feel that way.
  24. But whether someone is in the HOF or not has no bearing when you're talking on a season basis. Of course Allen isn't in the HOF discussion yet, since he's only played 5 years, but Allen has already broken numerous Kelly records. Kelly is in the HOF based on the totality of his career. But simply talking in terms of who's better? I don't think there's really any question that Allen is more talented than Kelly. What do you think Allen would be capable of on those Bills teams that had a good O-line and had a legit running game? The HOF should have no bearing on this discussion. Same as bringing that up in a discussion of Reed vs Diggs. Reed never had a 100-ball season. Diggs has 4, including 3 straight and 4 of the last 5. Reed played 16 seasons. Diggs just completed his eighth and is only 248 catches behind him. Diggs can be reasonably expected to pass Reed in another 2 and 1/2 seasons. Reed had 87 career TDs. Diggs is at 59. Again, at current pace, is on path to pass Reed in 2 and 1/2 seasons. Does the HOF have any bearing here? No, not IMO. Sounds to me like you can't follow any logic. Maybe pre-school is more your speed.
  25. It's really hard to believe there's actually people out there who disagree with this statement.
