I'm sorry, I thought I just posted a video of our top pick in the draft 2 years ago acting like he's on a nice Sunday jog down the field and you want to play a whataboutism game with our franchise player? Sorry, but effort is one thing I never have to worry about with Josh Allen. If you can't even get the effort part right, you have no business even being on the field.

Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
Billz4ever replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Drives me crazy. If reports are true, he was willing to give up a first, although not this year, still a first, for Waddle. Meanwhile, in the offseason, DK Metcalf goes for a 2nd. Think about that..he'd rather do a panic buy in a seller's market than take care of it before the season and would rather jump down people's throats who question the talent level of the WR room. Overall, I've been a fan of Beane, but lately, some of his moves or lacks of moves, really have me starting to question the management of this roster. -

I'd like Beane to be consistent. If he thought the WR room was good enough, like he said it was, then act like it. He jumps down people's throats for questioning the room, yet here he is signing re-treads that no other team wants. -

I wonder if Beane understands this reeks of desperation at this point? Hardman? Seriously? Another KC castoff? Will probably work out as well as MVS. -
Game week thread - Buccaneers at Bills
Billz4ever replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Expect the Bucs to do exactly what Miami did to us. Stack the box and dare our bum WRs to beat them. Brady better be ready to commit to passing out of heavy sets like we did against KC, although Kincaid most likely not playing is going to make that less effective. -
Dalton Kincaid Hamstring Injury (Week to Week per Jordan Schultz)
Billz4ever replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was the OTHER injury that caused him to miss the Atlanta game and kept him on the injury report. The hammy happened yesterday during the game. Kincaid either just has extremely bad luck or this is just going to be an ongoing occurrence with him where he either can't stay on the field or he's playing with some kind of injury that hampers performance. He's never going to be considered elite in this league until that changes. -
I love Ed. He plays great when he's in there, but he's basically the Kincaid of the defense. Just can't seem to stay on the field.
-
I think Brady went into this game thinking our WRs were going to be able to beat Miami's mid secondary playing without Rasul Douglas. He should've figure out very quickly he was wrong and went back to passing out of heavy sets, which they started doing in the 2nd half, but it was too late at that point.
-
Miami was stacking the box and selling out to stop the run. They were daring our WRs to beat their mid secondary and the bums we have in the WR room couldn't do it. That will be the blueprint to stopping the Bills until they can prove they can effectively throw the ball when the run is getting stopped. Kincaid probably missing time is going to make it even easier for opposing Ds.

4th and 1: fake tush push into pass play
Billz4ever replied to SunDSolar's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami watched the film of the game last week against KC when they threw the ball to Cook out of the same formation to get a key first down on 3rd and 3 late in the 4th. Good on them and bad on Brady for being so predictable basically all game long. -
Allen very recently, like a week or two ago, talked about how Dabs would light him up when he started getting wild out there, so Josh acknowledges what Daboll did for him.
-
I'm kind of indifferent on Daboll. I give him credit for how he was able to help mold Allen from the wild stallion into what he is today, but his play calling also drove me crazy at times too. I don't think there's a chance he comes back though as I don't think he and McD saw eye to eye and they seemed to both be glad to get away from each other when Dabs left.
-
Dawkins got cooked on a few plays yesterday that were pretty ugly. Miami doesn't have a good pass rush to begin with, were near the bottom of the league in sacks, and were playing without Chop Robinson and just traded Jaelan Phillips.
-
Our offense has gone from capable to above average WRs with a mid RB room and O-line back then, to now having a great RB, well above average O-Line, and a bunch of bums in the WR room who can't get open and and OC that can't even scheme anyone open outside of TEs apparently.
-
At this point, all we're asking for is a WR that can get open or for our OC to be able to scheme some guys open and they can't even do that now.
-
I honestly don't see the scenario where Josh calls Beane or McD out...at least not in public anyway. Maybe behind the scenes, but even yesterday in the postgame presser, he was saying everything he was supposed to say and defended the team, coaches, and his WR room full of bums even though he looks like a man completely beat down and was wearing his frustration on his face and in his tone.
