We're gonna end up going into 2024 with Josh Allen and a bunch of JAGs. I'm pretty salty we didn't make a move for one of the top 4 WRs. As unrealistic as it may have been to land someone like Odunze, Brian Thomas certainly wasn't out of reach.

I'm guessing there is something bigger in the works here than what's going on in the draft and the Bills are building capital to pull it off...
Perhaps a trade for a WR on a roster already?
I just don't like the idea of trading for a big name vet. We're paying several million for a top 10 receiver to not play for us next year, then we're going to trade away draft capital for another top 15 vet and pay them more than we were paying Diggs. Just doesn't add up IMO.

Mitchell is probably the only way to salvage this nightmare of a draft at this point.

Beane has fumbled this draft
I stand by my statement.
But I feel really reassured knowing that Beane will have this team fully stocked with Special Teamers and no starting WR.

With the way the cap is rising, 30 is the new 20 for receivers as 50 is the new 40 for QBs.
It’s all relative
So 25% inflation for QBs 50% inflation for receivers.

Today on WGR, they were talking about someone they trust from the Athletic saying the Bills are trying to trade up into the top 10 for Rome Odunze
I don't care what it takes. Get it done. If the Bills don't, the Chiefs are sitting there ready to pounce.

I heard Simms a few weeks ago say that Brian Thomas Jr doesn't have a "squeaky clean" character profile. Doesn't sound like anything real bad but enough to be a concern. But if any character and/or injury concern pushes him down the board the Bills won't be the team to stop his fall.
The Bills will never win a SB under this regime if they pass on BTJ at 28.

Here's what's really going to happen. Beane is going to sit on his hands because he doesn't want to waste his precious draft capital. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are going to trade up in front of the Bills and take the last WR that they had a 1st round grade on. Then the bills will draft a DB at pick 28 and subsequently cause a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in WNY from the collective heads of Bills Mafia exploding.

This is what I've been saying. Anyone wanting to take the Bills elsewhere would look at that penalty as a minor inconvenience.
That Billsiest of all time Billsy moves to build a new $2.5B stadium at taxpayers expense and then relocate to a different city and abandon it.

Will there be disputes with 2 owners over who's forking over all the cash for signing bonuses?

Just checked that chart from 2023 and there are no visits with Dalton Kincaid and only 1 private meeting with Kaiir Elam in 2022. So maybe it's not all that telling after all.

Knox is a solid TE and a great partner to have with Kincaid, all the people wanting to get rid of him make no sense to me.
I don't want to get rid of him...just his contract. Probably the biggest overpay of Beane's tenure in Buffalo.

This is the calm before the storm! If anyone thinks that Beane is just gonna let this whole Diggs thing go down without him having something up his sleeve than they are sadly underestimating him. Oh it’s coming, there’s no doubt in my mind. There’s a couple of speculations that I came across and 1 or 2 of them makes perfect sense so if if it’s either one of them than I’m quite confident it’ll be something of that magnitude. Look at Beane’s track record, he’s not afraid to make these shocking decisions and/or trades. It’s coming!

Go get Jefferson. Vikings are in full rebuild mode. Their 2nd round pick is going to be in the mid 30s at worst. Give them 28 and that pick and you still keep your first round pick in 2025. That still also preserves your 2nd round pick in 2025 for a second WR, Edge or safety.
That's a lot of cumulative money and draft capital all for a guy the Bills could have had anyway and been paying a rookie deal for.

If I'm GM, I'm targeting either Adonai Mitchell or Brian Thomas Jr. Will start considering moving up for Thomas if he slips past pick 16 or also moving up a few spots for Mitchel once Thomas is off the board. If we can sit back and land Mitchel at 28 without moving up, I'm using one of our 4th rd picks on WR too.

Im no Diggs hater, but the reality is he commanded a lot of targets on a team that loves to spread the ball around.
This is worth noting. I'll be quite happy that Josh wont have to feel obligated to force throws to Diggs just to keep him happy anymore. Now he can just focus on moving the chains.

Now that we got the Clapp, nothing will get in our way. Easiest path to the SB ever.

Yeah corporate ownership is gonna be so much better 🤮

Greed isn't exclusive to billionaires. It's in all of us. Like individuals buying up season tickets with the sole intent of reselling them for profit driving up prices for true fans to attend games.

Far more unlikely to hit on a premium late round pick than it is 1st. That's like planning your financial future "knowing" you're gonna hit the lottery.
